You really need serious help, read the screenshot again but this time read it slowly and observe the question mark added at the end of the sentence. It seems you didn't attend primary school because they would have taught you how to recognise a question.

There is nothing professional about asking why you expect a giftcard bought with a hacked credit facility to be genuine. Its nothing new but it is strange when you look for genuine characteristics in an inferior product.

We are operating at different capacity so don't quote me and keep searching.

mavinc4u:

It is always good to be mute when you understand nothing. Asking a professional question would have saved you some unprofessional attitude above. Trying to make sense and you ended up with nonsense. I am not buying with your money so do me a favour and face your front.

How can he be genuine when the rate charged by banks is N320/$ minimum and you are offering to pay N300/$?

mavinc4u:

N300 if you are genuine. How many do you have?

No bank is offering 18% fir 91 days except wonder banks

PhilJames:

But other banks are offering 18% and above. 13.5% is disheartening
Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by MrTour: 11:41am On May 21, 2017
I dont think you were cheated. The rate used in your case is 13.5% for 91 days.

PhilJames:
Good Morning guys

Please help, am confused here. I feel I was cheated.

I went to GTB and requested to invest 200k in TB for 91 days and I was debited 193,318. Please at what rate was the transaction?

Thanks

There is nothing to criticize about the wife's age, she is 65 so ?

They met while he was her student in secondary school and he jokingly told her one day she will be his wife, they have been together for over 20 years. Try read some history to help you make logical comments.

The society they live in supports diversity, equality, liberty.

YOUR SOCIETY DOESN'T.

Yours leaders in Nigeria are useless. It will surprise you to know Emmanuel Macron was sworn in today and he worked throughout today on his first official assignment. If it was an African leader, the first day of inauguration is to invite his party members to dine, wine, merry over an already biased election.

You guys need to change your mentality and think logically.

Admin401:
why is nobody criticizing the fact that wife's age is almost double of macron?
You guys nearly took off Buhari's head for the same crime. Oh, wait... he's white, so it doesn't matter.

My broda, EcoBank is the world's most useless bank, i relied on them for years with their Fixed deposits not knowing they were the reason why my body and bank account was losing weight.

I lost over 500K in interests and when i discovered TB and other investments last year i initiated a tsunami in my bank account.

To make it worse, the banking officer indirectly refused i withdraw my money in the name of trying to persuade me to stay with them.

I told the banking officer clearly, even if you give me ur puna on top make i continue with una, i wont try it. Up till today my balance with them is only N1200.

Please do you know how i can withdraw that remaining N1200, i tried withdrawing it at the ATM since the last six months but keep getting insufficient balance?

amjustme2:
Another bank to avoid is Ecobank. I would strongly discourage anyone Investing, trading or performing any transaction that you do not have total control of with them. They are reaping people off. Heard they want to shutdown many branches across the country.

I had a terrible experience with them.

When you hear Eco... dont wait for bank. just run

Don't say you did not warn you.

Crime / Re: Man Narrates His Horrible Experience With Policemen In Sapele (Photos) by MrTour: 7:38pm On Apr 20, 2017
99 percent of the men in uniform are thieves.

Recently, i was in the east to meet a few friends I haven't seen for sometime. At about 6:30 pm one of my friends called me to meet up near govt house, i drove round the long road, drove past a small govt house gate where there were some jobless police men sitting down talking to each other.

I drove down 200 metres away from them picked up my phone to call my friend, d next thing i heard in my side screen was "bang bang bang", i thought it was armed robbery as i saw a gun. I looked closer it was d same jobless police fools i cited 200 metres away, as soon as i stopped they had ran towards my car as they saw me as bush meat.

One of them forcefully kept on banging on my screen open this car, open this car. Thank God i always lock my inlock car buttons while in motion, he couldn't open any of the car doors from outside. While he was forcefully trying to force the doors open one of his colleagues came down and asked me a simple question "are you waiting for anybody", i replied him yes and it hasn't been up to 1 minute I parked my car to get further direction before his mad dog colleague started trying to break my glass. He told me simply to move my car from the long road that will contain at least 200 cars which i did and that was the end.

Most Nigerian officers in uniform use it for oppression.

The Fed Govt. has let things slide in the past by allowing speculators control the Naira exchange rates. For example, 3 weeks ago the value of dollar was skyrocketing from N480 zoom to 500 and 510, allowing speculators control the Forex in Nigeria has always been a wrong thing to do due to poor economic policies.

The current move by the CBN is long overdue and it is here to stay with all things being equal. The absence of Mr President gave room for trial of other monetary policy options, he came back from the UK and saw his deputy has been taking all the glory. Thereby, he supported the move to flood the Black market and take the glory too.

The exchange rate we experienced in the last couple of weeks was never a true representation of the true value of the USD. In fact, what we have seen in the last few months was currency manipulation. It happens in non developed countries whereby a group of money men gang up to frustrate all the efforts of the federal government. It isn't successful in Nigeria because we still have sources to earn Forex and the government is well aware of the severity of the problem even though it doesn't have a permanent solution.

Lastly, hoarders of Forex should start drinking garri and groundnut cos hunger is just around the corner. Expect major reductions in all electronic currencies.

easyflex:
I was at an Ikeja branch of StanbicIBTC about 2 weeks ago to get BTA , there were already about 15 people in the queue before 10am waiting for the approval of their own dollar requests. They were even calling people with backlogs who have been on the waiting list to come and pick up their approved BTA. I was lucky my own $3,800 BTA request was approved @ N375/$ when it was exchanging @ N460/$ in the parallel market @ the time.

This money could have only gotten me $2,800 in the parallel market just about 10 days prior to the CBN forex intervention. This put an additional $1000 in my pocket thereby easing my travel burdens and stress.

The aviation/tourism sector is one of the vital sectors CBN policies was aimed at rescuing apart from the industrial sector. Several airlines (like United airlines, Iberia) were leaving the country and others threatening to leave/downsize due to poor patronage.

When you make a cursory appraisal of our airports , you would appreciate the sheer volume of Nigerians travelling daily... some for leisure , some for academic pursuit , many for business purposes and a significant number for health reason (e.g I know an oil worker that had to pay about $90, 000 USD to have a lifesaving brain tumor operated upon in the U.S a few weeks back)

We also should appreciate that our economy is import based so there's a lot of dollar demand to bring in raw materials plus other commodities. When you add old BTA/PTA backlogs plus matured LCs waiting to be redeemed you will appreciate the sheer volume of dollar transactions going on daily in the country.

If you could have about 15 people waiting for BTA in just a branch of STANBIC IBTC. You can only imagine the extent of forex/dollar demand when you put the whole country in perspective.

Remember Nigeria is estimated to have a population of about 200 million people. So an intervention of about $2billion USD spanning over about 1 month plus old backlogs makes it an average of $10 per citizen.

So when you consider our population , the fact that we are an import based economy , our tendencies to travel a lot, and our constant inclination to roundtrip/try to beat the system then you would understand where all the dollars is going.

As much as we may argue that the system is not sutainable , and that it's not the best option economically, I suggest we quit bickering and enjoy the naira appreciation while it lasts.

If you are in Lag just enter their head office at Walter Carrington. Demand to see their head boss with a valid reason when you arrive, if the person is on seat they will just call him/her for you. Their Oga's are readily accessible unlike other useless banks where they tell you Oga no dey.

At Stanbic Oga is mostly around.

Mine is even worse off compared to yours, one of their incompetent staff debited my account for no reason and made me lose about 50K.

BUT

In the last couple of months I made N1m through their competent team's advice when all other Banks refused to advice wisely. If you look closer at what you consider evil you may discover some pretty damn good thing about it wink

They rectified it after I did what I advised you earlier, they are good at problem solving, it took about two weeks for mine to be completely resolved but I knew within 48 hours it was an incompetent person's mistake.

Houstency:

Hahahaha Pal, lemme forward my account details for the payment lol.
I want to verify if the banker that made the mistake is still working with the bank?
The second in command of my branch was the one who made the mistake. And he has been calling and sending texts that the fate of his work depends on any further actions by me. Inasmuch as I want to be considerate, I wouldn't want to entertain any loss upon terminating the investment. Please, what was your issue with them, and did they rectify it to your initial instruction? Thanks

This is not a legal action matter if you have complained, given them time and they haven't carried out any speedy action.

I had a similar issue as yours where their incompetent staff placed a bid against my will. All Nigerian banks have incompetent staff and I must say Stanbic IBTC is one of those banks with the least of such fools.

All you need to do is forward a letter to their main customer service email, follow it up with a phone call to the sane department and unleash all your anger in that email if you don't get a favorable response within 48 hours I will refund you the money.

Houstency:
@Gurus in the house..
If you instructed your bank to bid for 365-days (1-year) tenor on your behalf, and instead they bidded for 182-days (6 -months) tenor without your consent, can one take legal action against them if upon request to terminate the investment they do not return the original amount invested??

Please, anyone with idea and experience on Treasury Bills should kindly help with suggestions on how to tackle such scenario. Thanks in anticipation

I made post here saying I wanna sell $200. Ordinarily, I had calculated that I'd pay skrill charges. Had $206. He told me to send all the 206 And I explained it was impossible, instead, I sent him $202.5 so I can send everything in my account.
I was surprised when after acknowledging he got 202.5, he credited me with 91,000 and still asked me to send recharge card like he was doing me a favor for buying my skrill.

I have dealt with Singapore1 and Didymario, nothing happened. LadyF is my personal friend, and used to manage skrill funds for me before she ported. I don't understand why this guy will take me for a fool because I look gentle. lol.
