A presenter with the Nigerian Television Authority has died in a crash alongside her young son.

According to Daily Trust, Amina Bashir, a presenter with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Network Centre, Kaduna and her one-year-old son died Saturday in a road crash.

She was on her way to the NTA TV College in Jos, Plateau State, when the incident occurred. She was buried Saturday evening in accordance with Islamic rites.

She is survived by her parents, siblings, husband and children.

Her colleagues described her as kind-hearted, jovial, loving and hardworking.

Queen Elizabeth’s family member might be in serious trouble after being threatened by ISIS terrorists.

Terror group, Islamic State supporters have concocted a plot to kill Kate Middleton, by poisoning the food she buys at the supermarket, according to a report published on Sunday.

Terror fanatics were encouraging each other to tamper with the Duchess of Cambridge’s food while communicating on the Telegram messaging app, according to the New York Post.

“We know what she eats — poison it,” read the caption of one image showing the 37-year-old royal with a shopping cart.

The location of the stores where the mom-of-three reportedly shops were also shared.

One vile picture posted on the app threatened Prince George.

The composite image showed the toddler holding his father Prince William’s hand and standing beside a knife-wielding ISIS militant with the caption: “Rise of the kuffar.”

A security source told the paper that the threats were being taken “very seriously.”

“It’s a disgusting plot as it involves Kate’s young children and hits out at her attempt to live a normal life like any mother wants to,” the source said.

A National Youth Service Corps member has been given the embarrassment of a lifetime after being ordered to kneel in public.

The corps member who is serving in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja was reportedly ordered by the NYSC State Coordinator to kneel down for trying to leave during his address.

The yet-to-be identified corp member could be seen in an Instagram video kneeling down as ordered by the State Coordinator while others watched him.

The sad and embarrassing encounter has left tongues wagging as to why such inhumane treatment should be meted out to a graduate.

A beautiful and young UNICAL graduate has passed away after a gas explosion, Brainnews report.

Mildred Amadi, a fresh Computer Science graduate of the University of Calabar, Cross River State on Saturday morning (Jan. 12, 2019) has died following a cooking gas explosion which occurred on the 27th of December, 2018.

As revealed by her cousin, Mildred, who was meant to go for her NYSC in March, 2019, had gone to braid her hair at a multipurpose hall in Rukpokwu rumuiwechiorlu, Port harcourt, Rivers state.

While there, a boy was said to have turned on a camp gas and stepped out to get a lighter. Upon his return, he was warned against igniting the burner of the camp gas, since so much gas had already escaped.

However, the boy ignored the warnings and told them that nothing would happen. But immediately he ignited it, there was an explosion and Mildred was badly affected.

She was later rushed to Bridgestone Hospital, Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt, where she died this morning.

According to the cousin, Mildred, the only daughter of her mom, never wanted to make her hair but her mom persuaded her to, so that she would look good.

The gallant Nigerian soldier has sent out a lovely message to his wife, Adama, while fighting the Boko Haram insurgents at the battlefield.

If it is necessary that I should fall on the battlefield for my country, I am ready. On Friday unknown gunmen abducted Petertex Etim aka the godfather, a popular broadcaster with the Cross River Broadcasting Corporation (CRBC) in his house in Calabar, the Cross River State capital Brainnews report.

According to eyewitness, it was gathered the abductors stormed his house along Chamley Street in Calabar South and whisked him away in a waiting vehicle, while he was preparing for work in the morning.

As stated by the eyewitness who pleaded not to be named revealed that;

“He was supposed to read the news on radio this morning but of course could not anymore because of the kidnapping.

“He is not a politician or involved in any controversy. He is such an easygoing guy.

“So why should something like this happen to him? Could it be a mistaken identity? No one knows.

“His phone number has been switched off since and the kidnappers have not gotten in touch yet. It is really unfortunate,” a source close to him said.

Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Irene Ugbo, confirmed the incident.

‘We are aware of it and we are working on it,” she said.

Delta State Polytechnic undergraduate student has left her family members in tears after losing her life in an accident.

A female student of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara (DESPO), has lost her life after being involved in an accident, this morning, in Oghara.

It was gathered that the deceased identified as Hope, was riding with her boyfriend, Felix aka Lanki, when he lost control of the car.

However, Lanki survived and he is currently hospitalized, but he is reported to be in a very critical condition.

According to reports, the body of the late student has been deposited at a morgue in Oghara.

Friends of the late Hope have, since her death, been paying tributes across social media, with many describing her as a very loving and peaceful girl.

Lance Corporal Adamu Nura before his death had taken to Facebook to praise and celebrate his wife and the wives of other military men who keep the faith while their husbands are away fighting criminals, terrorists and evil people in the world.

Nura was one of the 5 crew members of the crashed Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Mi-35M helicopter at Damasak in Borno State on Wednesday.
