Confusion has befallen a family after their daughter returned home four days after she was buried.

According to a report from Dailymail said; “a family who believed their daughter was dead cremated a body before their daughter arrived home safe four days later.”

The woman identified as Naina, 26, had gone missing from her house on Saturday December 8 in Patiala, Punjab, India.

The man who she had left with had also gone missing from his house.

A mutilated body of a woman in her 20s was found in the same city just days after her disappearance on December 11.

Police had suspected Naina had been killed by the man she had eloped with, the Times of India reported.

The body of a woman was found by a local farmer inside a ‘gunny bag’ sack in a field. An autopsy confirmed the woman had been strangled to death.

Naina’s family then claimed it was her body, and cremated the body the next day.

However, their daughter returned home safe four days after the cremation, along with the man she had left with.

Local police said they took fingerprints and DNA from the body. They are re-starting the process to identify the dead body.

A police spokesman said that the body would have been cremated anyway.

32-year-old commissioner and his wife have been greeted with compliments from internet users after their cute pictures went viral, Brainnews report.

Mark Okoye, the Anambra State Commissioner for Planning and Budget has shared dashing pictures of him and his beautiful wife, Phillipa Mark-Okoye.

The 32-year-old commissioner who currently on vacation with his wife beyond the shores of Nigeria, took to Facebook to post the lovely pictures with the caption; “Much needed time with the Mrs. Can’t select which pic I prefer, so I post ALL #wife #family #shortvacay #thankful.”

The cute pictures have been greeted with compliments from internet users.

In 2015, Anambra State Governor, Mr Willie Obiano appointed the youngest Commissioner in Nigeria, Mark Okoye at the age of 30.

He holds a B.Sc. Finance from the prestigious George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA and is an alumnus of several executive education courses and programmes, including Harvard Kennedy School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, Euromoney, Dubai, UAE.

Confusion befell many after a lady reportedly used by a yahoo boy for ritual vomited money in Warri, Delta State, Brainnews report.

The lady which was simply identified as Taiye vomited clean notes of N500 denomination in Warri, Delta State.

The bizarre incident occurred at the wee hours of Sunday at one-storey building beside JJC Junction along Effurun – Sapele road, Uvwie Local Government Area.

A huge crowd gathered at the scene of the incident at about 7:40 a.m. as they watched in awe the alleged Yahoo boy-charmed lady in strange public display.

Cross River State Governor, Senator Ben Ayade received boost from some traditional rulers in the state as they endorsed his candidature for his re-election for a second term come 2019.

The traditional rulers made this declaration when Governor Ayade presented a certificate of recognition and staff of office to the paramount rulers of Bekwarra and Obanliku Local Government Areas.

The Chairman of Traditional Rulers and the Paramount Ruler of Bakassi Local Government Area, Chief Etim Okon Edet, said the traditional rulers decided to endorse him because of achievements.

Chief Edet explained that the industrialization drive of the government and infrastructure are some of the factors that made traditional rulers to endorse him.

He added that the prompt payment of salaries to workers has enhanced their standard of living in the state.

Those who spoke at the occasion include the Obong of Calabar from the South, the Obol Lopon of Ugep from central and the Paramount Ruler of Obudu Local Government Area representing the North.

Abule Egba pipeline fire outbreak has been trail with lament and distress which left the entire Awori area of Lagos awake all night on Tuesday and rendered many people homeless.

Scores of houses including duplexes, storey buildings and bungalows, which had served as homes to many families and offices for businesses outfits were burnt to ashes, leaving the owners with memories of the good past. Families have disintegrated on account of the fire incident as they are split between neighbours and distant family members who now have to bear the task of accommodating the victims.

Sike Lukmon, one of the victims of the night fire, was a pathetic sight. Although she was heavily pregnant, she had to struggle against death on that night.

Sike, who was delivered of a baby two days after the incident, said without money and all their property destroyed, she could not afford delivery at a hospital, hence she delivered her baby in the corner of a burnt building where they are now squatting.

According to her, the only way left for them to escape the fire was to jump over the fence.

She said: “There was noise everywhere and we didn’t even know which direction to run to. There was fire in the other compound, across the road and everywhere. I climbed the fence and fell down three times before I finally succeeded.”

Sike is a petty trader who, according to her, managed to save some money to buy some things in readiness for her expected baby, but everything she bought went with the fire. Her goods too were burnt to ashes.

But she held unto her new baby and gave thanks to God as people came to see the miraculous baby delivered without the aid of a midwife. Women from a nearby church were said to have come to her aid at the point delivering the child.

All over the Oko Oba, Abule Egba, the entire back of Tantalizer to Wema bank, the story remains similar, the tears have not stopped flowing. The pains are still fresh and the losses are traumatic memories that haunt the residents that are still hanging around their burnt homes and those that have fled the area in search of succor somewhere else.

A court in Uyo has sentenced a man to death after he reportedly killed his friend over a N75,000 debt.

The Man who killed his friend over a N75k debt, has been sentenced to death by hanging by a High Court which sat in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital.

The suspect, Stephen Anona, who killed his friend over the N75k debt, was handed the court sentence 3 years after he committed the said offence in Itu Road, Uyo.

The convict who is said to be an Uyo based barber, murdered one Daniel Bassey Solomon and dismembered his body into smaller parts for easy disposals in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital for allegedly not paying a debt of N75,000 owed him.

Stephen reportedly lured his victim into his one rented room apartment on Itu Road, Uyo and gave him a poisoned food which made him (Daniel) fall into a deep sleep.

He then used a sharp matchet to cut off his head, severe his legs, hands and the abdomen, and carefully packed them into different bags and secretly dumped them into gutters and other places.
