A guy and a girl can be really cool friends without the guy/girl being friendzoned.

However, remember that once you're always around someone of the opposite sex, thoughts of sex must always run across your mind once in a while.

For me, being in the friendzone involves being really in love with someone but choosing to be "just friends", simply because you've become too close that she sees you as her 'brother', and for that you can't ask her out. In some cases, when you finally man up to ask her out, she'd tell you that she's contented being 'just friends' with you.... And some guys continue with the friendship. Now, that's the worst type of friendzoning because you've made your intentions known to her but still chose to be an errand boy.... After visiting her boyfriend, you'd be the one to buy her Panadol and snacks because she's weak.
Sometimes, if she quarrels with her boyfriend, you'd be the ultimate peace maker; while your soul bleeds.
