Anonymous shared this on their facebook page.

Hackers affiliating with Anonymous have declared cyber War on the Nigerian government for abuses of power and neglect of the Nigerian people. The attackers released a detailed document outlining the sites under attack, the reasons for the hack as well as news stories to educate people around the world about the troubles facing the Nigerian people.

Very scary @op, especially with the current economic state of the nation.

I'll fall into that age bracket very soon and I need not be afraid because God has good plans for me, not of evil and He'll direct my footsteps.

My advice to everyone reading this: Trust in God, do your best and leave the rest for Him.

Tip 1: Make it simple
Avoid unnecessary grammar, too much formatting and inclusion of unnecessary information such as the color of your eyes, your best food. Such information is only necessary if you are going for a beauty contest or similar events, in which case you would be given a personal history form to fill.

Tip 2: Display more of your skills than your work experience

This is relevant mostly to job hoppers. Instead of making a list of all your work experiences, you may display two or three of your experiences that are similar to the post you are applying for on the particular CV you are to send to the employer. You may then convert the duties performed at your other jobs (the jobs not displayed on the particular CV) to skills and display them under the skills section of your CV.

The essence of doing this includes but not limited to: not coming across the employer as a job hopper. Some employers view job hopping as a negative career attitude and this may truncate your chance of getting interviewed if the employer in that organisation falls into this category; having a short CV that is filled with information relevant to the job you are applying for, thereby making the employer go through the length of your CV if they like what they see; displaying more skills than work experience on your CV presents you as a versatile individual.

Tip 3: Use a simple layout
I have seen CVs displayed like maps or even worse. A badly designed CV makes it difficult for the employer to go through your CV and this may cause your CV to be trashed even though the content is rich.

In addition, it is important to go through your CV from time to time; this would assist you in identifying any of your skill areas you may need to improve on.

Big bros, Abeg no vex, u fit give us small summary/details of ur camp experience, make person knw wetin to expect... thanks in advance...#teamOgunStateStream1...am excited! cheesy cheesy
Well, I enjoyed my camp experience. I was a member of OBS and martial arts team. I'll advise you to join OBS; guess that was the best choice I made in camp. Being accepted as a member could be tough and you might find it very stressful even when taken but in the end, you'd be glad you did. You'd get the opportunity to learn so many things and meet so many brilliant people... The tag alone would open doors for you.
Wash your clothes by yourself, unless you're super rich.
Make sure a clipper is well treated before being used on you, some guys contracted bumps. There might be only 3 clippers serving all the male corpers.
Don't visit mami too often unless you're super rich.
Look out for ladies that'd try to turn you into an ATM, you might not even see her again after camp... don't fall victim unless you're really an ATM.
Don't wash all your whites on the same day, they might
ALL get 'misplaced'.
Don't steal anyone's property.
Don't disrespect any camp official, he might end up being your LI or your cds coordinator; #oyo

There's no general rule anyway, just enjoy camp life while it lasts. You'll meet different kind of people, you'll also miss them when you leave.

pls how can one escape that trap of government school? share how you successfully escaped it. thanks
When you get posted to a government school, don't ever, I repeat ever give the principal your ORIGINAL posting letter if you don't plan to stay with them. Once he has your posting letter in his possession, he has authority over you.
First ask him for a rejection letter, you can beg and give reasons if you like. If he eventually rejects you, you're blessed. Most of them are very stubborn and would never give you a rejection letter. In that case, take the issue back to the secretariat, but make sure you have enough reasons for not liking the place. With your original posting letter still with you, scout for a place you like (could be a school or company), ask the new place for a request letter and take it to the secretariat. They'll listen to you.
I wish someone told me this though. I learnt it the hard way.

hihi. So a us the camp state. Is it still clean and new as rumoured? And about ppa too
Yeah, new and clean. Though it's better to use the toilet immediately after parade because it's always cleaned when everyone must've gone out for parade.
As for ppa, I only know about my local government, which is Ota. Generally, avoid government schools unless you can sacrifice state allowance. Ogun state government will promise to pay you 55k after the service year but you ain't getting poo. I almost fell a victim.

Nairaland / General / This Has To Be The Most Wrongly Pronounced Word! by Mrval20(m): 8:18pm On Sep 12, 2015
I've noticed that most people pronounce 'September' wrongly.
Majority of Nigerians, including the highly educated ones, pronounce this word as

'Sect-ember'

Please and please, according to Wikipedia, the correct pronunciation is:

/sepˈtembər/

I mean Sep....not Sect!!

A funny experience:
A man I hold to a very high esteem, a Ph.D holder who has traveled to several countries, actually pronounced this same word as 'Sect-ember' today....Due to the respect I have for this man, I was forced to pronunce it the same way too(the wrong way) throughout our conversation in order not to make him feel embarrassed. After I was done with my task on his laptop, I quickly opened his Firefox browser and searched for the Wikipedia page which transcribed 'September' with the correct pronunciation and set it as his Home page on Firefox. I also copied the link and set it as the home page for all the other browsers in his laptop, just in case he chooses not to use Firefox.
So, whenever he opens any of his browsers, the first thing he'd see is the page explaining the correct pronunciation of September. Lol, hope this helps.

I'm safe because he wouldn't even suspect I did it and God knows I was only trying to helpsmiley

You've said nothing but the truth. I'm a batch A15 serving Corp member and my major grievance is the issue of posting. You need to see the way corpers are disrespected these days in the struggle to get a PPA. Employers - and I mean primary/secondary school proprietors and principals - treat youth corpers just the way they like. I left the orientation camp last week and as I type this, most of my colleagues who left camp with me are yet to get a place of primary assignment. It's really that bad! Corpers get rejected at most of the places they get posted for primary assignment and are left to roam the streets in search of a PPA themselves; taking accomodation and transportation risks, and surviving on 19,800 throughout this period. It's really getting tougher than the ultimate job search and sometimes I wonder if it's really worth it....But then again, we're serving our Fatherland. *shrugs*
