agaugust: Ethiopian Su-27 jets will wipe out South African Gripen jets with Ethio BVR missiles from 40km away, your over-rated Gripen pilots won't even see who s.hot them d.own, they will just realize they are in heaven...or hellYou are such a stupiiid, Gripen are equipped with a warning device to warn the pilot timeously about the impending danger from an incoming missile. The pilot would then take counter-measures to overcome the danger. |
agaugust: Over 60% of manufactured goods in South African economy are Fong Kong made in China !!! Ya ya ya !!! LmaoMade in China under British company |
Henry120: You're always cursing" like a "jilted" girl/woman.Anti-tank missile!!!! Wow!! I just get to see it. Do you even know that missiles slice a thick iron plate in half? |
I PERSONALLY DO NOT BELIEVE @AGAUGUST IS A HOLDER OF MBA DEGREE BECAUSE HE CANNOT DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN A BLOG AND ONLINE NEWS MEDIA. HIS IQ IS VERY LOW. |
agaugust: With all the weapons you produce, Nigerian army will swallow up your in-experienced small sized South African army and we will capture you untested DENEL weapons and we will test them on you to see how it works.ALL OF THOSE PROJECTS ARE STILL IN THE WOMB. THEY MIGHT EVEN END UP AS STILL BORNS. |
agaugust: I see that this Nigerian Police jammer that South Africa does not have, has been increasing your blood pressure day by day.@AGAUGUST I HAVE DONE RESEARCH ON THIS WITH SECURITY ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES. LACK OF UNDERSTANDING OF TECHNOLOGY CAN SOMETIMES EXPOSE YOU!!! HOW DO YOU BRAG WITH SUCH AN OUTDATED TECHNOLOGY. SA IS WELL DEVELOPED COUNTRY AND CAN RESTRICT NETWORKS AT ONLY ONE AREA WITHOUT THE USE OF THAT OUTDATED TECHNOLOGY. OUR NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE IS SO WELL ORGANISED AND EVEN MORE DEVELOPED THAN SOME STATES IN THE RURAL USA. THAT TECH YOU CAN ONLY USE IN RURAL AREA THAT HAS A POOR NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE WHICH SA AS CURRENT DOES NOT HAVE. SA CURRENTLY CAN CLOSE GATEWAYS TO ANY AREA IRRESPECTIVE OF HOW SMALL THE AREA IS NORTHERN NIGERIA IS UNDERDEVELOPED AND NEEDS JAMMERS AS SUCH TO RESTRICT RECEPTION OF NETWORK SIGNAL TO CERTAIN AREA ONLY. THEIR NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE IS POOR AS CURRENT AND NETWORK PROVIDERS IN ORDER TO SHUT DOWN SIGNAL WILL ONLY AFFECT LARGE AREA EVEN TO AREAS WHICH WERE NOT TARGETED. WE DONT NEED THAT CHEAP JAMMERS IN A DEVELOPED SA. EVERY TOWN, VILLAGE AND CITY HAS ITS OWN NETWORK AND EVEN YOUR CELLPHONE WILL TELL YOU EXACTLY WHERE YOU ARE ANYTIME IN PLACE. NOT VIA GPS BUT THROUGH THE NETWORK OF THAT AREA. NIGERIA DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME FACILITIES OTHER THAN IN BIG CITIES. SANDF HAS JAMMERS FOR THE USE IN UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES. |
agaugust: Rhino Poachers control SANDF and Rangers operating base in Kruger Park. What a rag tag Rangers, Army 21 Battalion and Special Forces combined !!!!!! My God help them. Shame shame shameRHINOS ARE ANIMALS NOT HUMAN. YOUR SPECIAL FORCES ARE FAILING TO PROTECT HUMAN BEING, INSTEAD YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED FOR GOD INTERVENTION IN THAT REGARD. |
agaugust: Nigerian police is NOT Nigerian military. They undertake hundreds of independent missions at different times on a wide Atlantic ocean.NIGERIANS ARE STILL DRUNK AT 21 ST CENTURY. |
agaugust: Wow ! Over 5,000 of those same Sudanese women were mass R.aped by Janjahweed militia in front of their husbands from town to town in broad daylight. Sure those women didn't have any balls than Nigerian Colonel then, or did they?FOR YOUR INFO NO NIGERIAN GENERAL WILL COMMAND SA CONTINGENT UNDER THE UMBRELA OF AU. |
FighterPilot: You are a mere civilian, how will you ever understand. MISSION FAILED!!!!! They tried three times to recover Gwoza but each time they were defeated. |
agaugust: The foreign powers found NOTHING and they are leaving in shame, or you read news that USA/UK has rescued Chibok girls since they arrived from overseas two months ago?How do you expect them to get something if you failed at the first place when things were still tender. So poor girls suffer consistent rapee that would never come to an end. Yep! That's the results of living in a country which is protected by rag tag army. |
agaugust: Nationality of the pirates was not disclosed, pirated ship is Greek owned, piracy took place in Angolan territorial waters, now those are your own SADC pirates, unless Angolan bush war of Cuba vs South Africa was fought on Nigerian territory.LET ME TELL YOU THEIR NATIONALITY: THEY WERE NIGERIANS AS USUAL. |
zaandrew: https://i0.wp.com/news.usni.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Kerala-GoG-2014.jpg?resize=625%2C599THANKS ANDREW FOR BRINGING IN THIS INFORMATION. THIS YOUNG BOY CALLED @AGAUGUST WILL HAVE TO LEARN THAT LIES ALWAYS HAVE A BITTER ENDING. THE POOR ANGOLANS CALLED NIGERIA BECAUSE NIGERIAN BASED PIRATES HIJACKED A SHIP AND THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY TO NIGERIA. WHY WOULD THEY SOUTH AFRICA FOR BECAUSE THAT WAS BETWEEN NIGERIA AND ANGOLA? IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH REGIONAL POWERS. ANGOLA WOULD HAVE BEEN STUUPID TO FOLLOW THE PROTOCOLS TO A PROBLEM THAT COULD BE SOLVED BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES. |
agaugust: Nigeria now looks up to SA navy for help with SADC ocean security where Nigerian navy has failed woefully. |
Thiza: Funny to boast about the number of survaillance aircrafts in your armour and yet you cannot effectively utilise these resources in your disposal such as locating missing girls....IT TOOK FOREIGN POWERS TO COME TO THE RESCUE OF NIGERIAFUNNY TO BOOST ABOUT SPY BALLOONS WHICH COULD POSSIBLY HAVE DEFLATED AND SATELLITES WHICH YOU CAN ONLY DO WITH FOR THREE YEARS BECAUSE OF THEIR SHORTER LIFE SPAN. STILL TO DATE, THE NIGERIAN SATELLITES FAIL TO ROOT OUT THE MORE THAN 200 KIDNAPPED GIRLS. @AGAUGUST IS SMOKING FROM A BIG PIPE. |
agaugust: South Africa now looks up to Nigerian navy for help with SADC ocean security where SANDF navy has failed woefullyTO CUT THE STORY SHORT ANGOLA JUST ONLY ALERTED YOU OF YOUR LOST CATTLES. |
agaugust: Now you have asked for trouble again, I am going to h.umiliate South African air force with photos and web links tomorrow morning, not today.SAAF MAY SUFFER FINANCIAL CRISES BUT HEAVEN KNOW IT IS MORE EQUIPPED THAN NAF. IT IS WORTH MORE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS THAN WHAT NAF IS WORTH. NO AMOUNT OF INFORMATION YOU CAN COLLECT FROM THE NET WOULD BRING THE RAG TAG NAF ABOVE SAAF. WE HAVE MORE EXPENSIVE AND SUPER MACHINE THAN NAF CAN ONLY DREAM. THE WHOLE OF NIGERIA WILL SLEEP IN HUNGER SHOULD THEY BUY WHAT WE HAVE IN SAAF. |
agaugust: NAF has 120 helicopters, 80 now plus 40 ordered.NAF has less than 40 helicopters. Ordered is not what you already have stuuupid. |
THE ONLY BLUE WATER NAVY IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA IS ON THE TIP OF AFRICA AND THATS SOUTH AFRICA. FACT. |
agaugust: Nope ! Liar !You are a lie yourself. It depends on the direction the pirates were heading to. Surely they would never come to SA, here is a stop station for pirates. By the way, they were heading towards Nigeria because it is their breeding grounds where they steal oil on daily bases. They needed an extra ship to transport the oil that they always steal in Nigeria. |
THOSE PIRATES CAME FROM NIGERIA. THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN SORTED OUT FIRST BY NIGERIA. PIRACY IS THE PROBLEM IN WEST AFRICA, THEY SHOULD DEAL WITH IT BEFORE IT SPREADS TO OTHER PARTS OF AFRICA. |
agaugust: Bwahahaha !!!If the pirates are heading towards NIGERIA will it be sound to call SA or Nigeria? Use your mind. SADC is by far bigger than ECOWAS in landmass and spread as well to Madagascar and Mauritius. |
Thiza: THE OLD GIVE WAY TO THE NEW....SALUTE THE RATEL AFTER NEARLY 40 YEARS OF SELFLESS SERVICE AND PROVING ITS WORTH IN MILITARY CONVENTIONAL CONFRONTATIONI THINK WE MUST DONATE RATEL TO THE LESS FORTUNATE LIKE NIGERIA. THEY WILL HAPPILY ACCEPT THEM WHETHER @AGAUGUST LIKES IT OR NOT. |
agaugust: DefenceWeb is a blog like beegeagle, anybody in this world can log on to DefenceWeb and post personal comment anytime. You don't know what a blog is...ANC prisonerDefenceweb is not a blog. |
agaugust: BwahahahaIT MAKES SENSE BECAUSE THE PIRATES WERE COMING FROM YOUR TERRITORY AND OBVIOUSLY THEY WERE HEADING TOWARDS YOUR DIRECTION AFTER THE ORDEAL. WHY WOULD ANGOLA CALL SA NAVY WHICH WAS BY FAR AWAY FROM THE PIRATES? |
agaugust: A single Nigerian army Colonel that was more intelligent than a whole battalion of Boko Haram fighters whom he fooled with military undercover spy tactics and walked through their defended undetected. To save your face never utilize his services ever again. He is an embarrassment. |
COL AGU COULDN'T EVEN THINK IT WAS DEGRADING TO LOOK LIKE A WOMAN WHEN HIS LIFE WAS AT STAKE. @ AGAUGUST WHAT IS YOUR TAKE? |
agaugust: Not written by a Nigerian, name is Anonymous so he could well be a honest South African. We know how exactly people with flat back side of the head think. |
Msauza: The best colonel in Africa is Lt. Col AGU. He deserves the award of being the fastest of all colonels in the world when it comes to taking to the heels in a war zone..
|
Henry120: Neither is nigeria. Nigeria is the 26th largest economy in the world, I cannot categorise such an economy as a failed state.THE SIZE OF THE ECONOMY DOES NOT DETERMINE WHETHER A COUNTRY HAS FAILED OR NOT. ELEMENTS WHICH DETERMINES A FAILED STATE ARE AS MENTIONED BELOW. POOR HEALTH FACILITIES UNDERDEVELOPED SOCIAL SERVICES POOR INFRASTRUCTURE IN GENERAL LACK OF HOUSING INCREASING POVERTY RATE POOR REGULATION OF BLACK MARKETS, ETC. |
The best colonel in Africa is Lt. Col AGU. He deserves the award of being the fastest of all colonels in the world when it comes to taking to the heels in a war zone. The only thing that he must do is to go back and return the dress he stole on the washing line. Pls, Lt Col Agu, the lady need the dress, she has nothing to wear. @Agaugust please if you meet him just get the message across. Please!!!

http://m.bbc.com/news/world-africa-28855292L Defence ministry spokesman Gen Chris Olukolade told the BBC's Focus on Africa programme that he could not confirm the reports of a mutiny but would investigate. He denied that soldiers were being "sent to die". "We may not have all it takes but we are improving on it [equipment] regularly," he said. Even the vehicles the soldiers were expected to use were old armoured cars that were not up to the job, he added. A general in the army, who asked not to be named, told the BBC that he was unable to confirm the mutiny, but said "cowardice" was not uncommon in times of war - and any mutineers would be punished. When the solder was asked if he feared being court-martialled for taking part in the mutiny, he said that a soldier could only be taken to task for refusing to go to war. "I joined the army to defend my country", but you cannot defend it without being equipped to do so, he said. In April, Boko Haram caused global outrage by abducting more than 200 girls from a boarding school in the remote town of Chibok in Borno state. The group has also carried out a wave of bombings and assassinations, including that of moderate Muslim leaders opposed to its ideology. |
