Yes it does dum dum:

"Regrettably, in spite of these expenditures, the status of NAF fleet remained operationally appalling as only 3 Alpha-Jets, 2 C-130H and one each of Mi-24V and Mi-35P were serviceable as at 28 May 15.”

Ouch!!! What a one million dollar reply. I still emphasise and reiterate my point that all potential investors in Nigeria must review their decisions of appointing Nigerians in strategic positions of their corporations. I know the likes of FERRARI, PORCHE, LAMBOGINI, MASERATI, and all other expensive brands of sports cars might be eying the possibility of opening their offices in Nigeria same way as they have done in SA, but the question is "Who are they going to put in the driving seat of their companies?" Nigerians!!! Oops that will be a lot riskier seeing how MTN ended in the wrong hands of the law.

Nigerians can never run anything without colliding with the law and that is evident on the millions of small businesses that they run in South Africa which are often used as a front for drugs selling business. How many of them were caught selling drugs and still have their businesses intact without their stock being confiscated? How many of our children did they kill with their drugs? I think is high time that South Africa should start to toughen their law and in the event that they arrest these thugs they must also take their wealth and give it to the treasury.
Wait a sec… no-no-no. Lol!!! With that law in place that's the day you will start to hear Buhari crying xenophobia forgetting that the law will be applied to everybody even though we would be knowing that our most dear friends "Nigerians" will often become victims to the wrath of that law. That law will ultimately cause them to lose everything they have ever worked for. Hey!! @Fighter pilot you are indeed such a great think tank and this really could score the government such a huge revenues totaling to hundreds of millions of dollars every year if only it can be put to law. I will suggest it to the national assembly through public discourse and other media platforms. It is a good revenue generator plan. Anyway, in terms of statutes, SA is sovereign state and has every right to enact such a law. I guess it will also serve as a strong deterrent for the potential "wannabe" drug mules.

Are you saying the same Nigerians that made MTN Nigeria what it is today? Or the Nigerians that used their brain to generate what mtn south Africa have never generated in history. You must be dumb. Its it not the same Nigerians that run glo, etisalat and airtel? You better go pray for God to give you common sense. Nigerian government have done everything within it's power to stop your fraudulent company from promoting terrorist and kidnapping activities but they refused until they were fined. Now tell us the state of boko Haram after the fine dummy.
I cannot believe that was your reasoning. It was indeed poorly structured. Just because they have turned MTN into largest profit making hub does not grant them any right whatsoever to flaunt their own laws. BMW and Mercedes have been making their largest profit in Africa and America through SA and US than in their home country and so are many largest corporations in the world including Coca-Cola. I doubt if Coca-Cola makes more money in its home country than in China but that does not give China any rights to bottle Coke in dirty bottles because that would amount to commercial sabotage as in the case of MTN. Admit that Nigerians are incapable of running any company be it their own or foreign corporations without flaunting the laws.

Why did the German government not shout when Volkswagen was fined? Do you even know Volkswagen is the largest automobile company in Germany? And that the fine will have significant impact on the economy and will increase unemployment rate. Business is not all about profit alone. Losses are also part of business especially when you misbehave like mtn. 5.1 million unregistered users while you have almost no unregistered user in south Africa. Why was it only mtn that was fined? Why did globalcom and others disconnect unregistered subscribers? Even my etisalat line was disconnected.
Be specific, poorly trained Nigerians flauted the law not South Africans. Embarrassment is attached to you particularly MTN Nigeria.

When you seized $15m we told you you will regret it but instead of crying at that time you wanted to prove to the world that you are powerful. Nigeria never came to beg but south African defence cheif, parliament and president came to beg Nigeria. What a funny country grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Next time learn how to respect your elders ok.
Then if you have sabotaged MTN just because SA confiscated illegal money (money laundering) that was meant to buy weapons illegally, then it will mean that your country does not have morals. That's why its citizens flaunted its laws using South African brand MTN. You are indeed all criminals in Nigeria.

Seems the national assembly is about to increase MTN's fine to $15.3 billion.

Honourable Ehiozuwa Agboayinma seems hell bent on sending MTN packing back to the cold dreary streets of south africa.
http://www.metronaija.com/2016/03/nigerian-lawmakers-increases-mtn-fine.html
I don't believe Nigerians are still this stupidd. MTN Nigeria employs Nigerians and is Nigerians who violated the law not South Africans. Nigerians are always lawless objects everywhere they go. What happened is a proof that you can never take any Nigerian in the driving seat particularly those other than Igbos. He is letting his people down not South Africans because we as South Africans we excel in business particularly when we are heading foreign corporations in our own country. Look what are they doing with the English brand of beer, Guiness stout? They don't wash bottles and distribute beers in those very same dirty bottle which some have cockroaches inside. Who are doing that? Is it not Nigerians? Why do you blame the English? Why do you blame South Africans? They themselves tarnish the name of the FDIs which invest in their own country where after blame foreigners for flaunting their laws. Stipidddity of the highest order. They are misrepresenting them big time.

What message does it send to the foreign investors? If you are planning on investing in Nigeria please bring your own staff with and allocate only cleaning jobs to Nigerians. If you are Nissan, Toyota, Microsoft, etc, please bring your staff with from own country or you will be hurt.

The world come and see how stupidddd are law makers of Nigeria ooooh.

Technically, SANDF is NOT = STTEP.

STTEP is an international private company, Eben is just Chairman.

Technically, a private military company is NOT same as national army of South Africa.

Nigeria's national army and national air force DIRECTLY trained current SANDF generals who command the South African national army and national air force. WE BUILT YOUR MILITARY FOUNDATION
.
Technically, STTEP = South Africans which are both former SADF and SANDF. Black and White. Where do they get their expertise from? Is it not from South African militaries?

http://www.rdm.co.za/sport/2016/03/16/fifa-states-that-sa-paid-10m-bribe-to-secure-world-cup-bid

Fifa has outlined how it believes South Africa paid a $10-million bribe in exchange for votes to secure the right to host the 2010 World Cup.In a court submission demanding restitution under US law for a range of fraudulent acts, Fifa has outlined how it believes South Africa paid the money."Defendant [Jack] Warner and his family had already established close ties to South Africa during South Africa’s failed bid to host the 2006 Fifa World Cup. For example, Daryan Warner had organised a series of friendly matches among Concacaf teams to be played in South Africa, relying on his father’s network of contacts there."The claim goes on to state that Daryan Warner "served as his father’s bagman, traveling to a hotel in Paris, France to receive a briefcase with $10 000 in cash from a high-ranking South African bid committee official and immediately returning to Trinidad and Tobago to give it to Defendant Warner."Describing Warner as having "strong illicit ties to the South African bid committee", Fifa states categorically for the first time that "the South Africans offered a more attractive bribe of $10-million in exchange for Warner’s, Blazer’s, and a third Executive Committee member's votes."Fifa say: "Warner and his coconspirators lied to Fifa about the nature of the payment, disguising it as support for the benefit of the “African Diaspora” in the Caribbean region, when in reality it was a bribe.""They disguised and funneled the bribe money through the financial accounts of Fifa, member associations, and the 2010 Fifa World Cup local organizing committee. At the time of the scheme, Warner was a member of the Fifa Executive Committee, a Fifa vice president, and the president of both Concacaf and the Caribbean Football Union (“CFU”), which had 31 member associations in its ranks. Blazer was also a member of Fifa’s Executive Committee, at times a member of FIFA’s marketing and television committees, and the general secretary of Concacaf. They breached the fundamental duties they owed to Fifa, CFU, and Concacaf and stole $10-million."
Don't you think it came too little too late. It's six years now since we last hosted the world cup and the fact is we hosted it. I have even went to watch games so it won't help to cry over a spilled milk.

[s]Nigeria bought 136 Vickers tanks from Britain. We Probably have about 100 remaining in service. We have 14 T-72 tanks with better capabilities. However, General Buratai is reviving some Vickers with upgrade including computerization. Details not revealed to public yet....but it is beautiful with the upgrade and new desert camo colours.

Britain or India may have hand in the upgrade, but they may not, more likely that it could be a 100% Nigerian army engineers upgrade project now that Nigerian navy engineers reffitng a whole frigate Aradu at home, building a new Landing Ship Tank, and Nigerian air force engineers configuring demilitarized Alpha jets into weapons capability and arming it with made in Nigeria rocket pods, Nigerian army engineers constructing our own C2 systems for a whole battle theatre....

Nigeria has the best military engineers in Africa. We can do surprising technical things o ! Other countries' military engineers cannot try what we do....SANDF engineers are all braind-dead, they import Cuban mechanics for $300,000 cash plus free house/free transport/free phone annual salary/benefits per mechanic.

Who told you it can't be seen/detected?
Newer technology are rolling out to counter such threat already. Why are Americans still scared of S300/S400 if stealth aircraft can't be detected dummy?
I think you need to start reading story books.
From far distances aircrafts with low RCS stand a better chance of not being detected first. The closer they get, there more their RCS becomes higher. Stealth aircrafts like F22 have an RCS of 0.0000001 sqm and with an RCS like that you stand far better chance of not being detected at all.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 2:24pm On Mar 03, 2016
iblawi:
Dummy RCS of gripen is lower than that of all western fighters including typhoon, Rafael, F16,F18 etc but that doesn't make it better than any of them. Gripen is a waste of money.
RCS size is what makes the aircraft to be detected from far. Stealth aircrafts have 0 rcs and thats why they cannot be detected. For eg, you cannot shoot what you cannot see. So, gripen armed with a meteor has advantage over other aircrafts including the French fighters. When it comes to fighters the one who sees the enermy first stand a chance to fire first and win.

What makes the aircraft powerful in terms of BVRAAM is its radar. You see aircrafts with a poor radar like JF-17 will not see Gripens from far distances because Gripen has an RCS of 0.1 sqm. So it will only see gripens at 20km and not anything beyond that. So, gripen armed with BVRAAM will defeat JF-17 any day, any time. The Junk Fighter won't stand a chance.

South Africa defence force can't overrun Nigeria forces. It's not just possible. Nigeria is not Lesotho or Zimbabwe guy. With what resources? How many regular soldier do they even have? And how many of them are full combatants with regular drills.

Can't a Croatian tell us how they will overrun the Nigerian military?
This guy here must be admitted immediately in a mental hospital.

The Junk Fighter has a poor radar and a poor RCS. That can only be changed by their block III but still there is no certainties.

The point has apparently been reached where the SA Air Force (SAAF) is aware it cannot fulfill its defence obligations and the airborne arm of the SANDF has turned to pilots flying for the national carrier, SAA, for assistance.

You got beaten blue-black in the CAR, and you fled.

You cowards have as usual, run away from a fight. Your troops kept getting disarmed by thugs, sh1ting their pants, afraid of skinny arabs riding in toyota bakkies.
Angola, Russia and China are no longer communists. Angola ceased to become a communist the moment South Africa relaxed their tooth on them in 1992 when the communists superpowers collapsed.

The only people who were beaten blue-black and were even shown on videos fleeing is Nigerian Army. Suffering an embarrassing defeat at the hands of BH. You left your bases full of weapons and fled to the other country, not your own. I mean you fled to the other foreign country on foot. You can scream so many times about Seleka but you always shy from the fact that they lost 800 rebels to only 15 that South Africa lost. So, who got the beating? Seleka literally had to beg SA to leave them progress to the Presidential palace with a white flag. We even remained in CAR awaiting political decision to reinforce or withdraw. The decision that was taken was to withdraw and we did it leaving behind only about 20 soldiers who were initially in CAR from the start under the protection of French troops.

South Africa can afford, it is just that we have pledged ourselves in somehow many unnecessary social services like.

*Child's grants
*Road accident funds

Fear of armed robbers, SANDF fears ordinary bread knife, talk less of guns. So much for their so called training....LOL....they claim training is > experience....so where is the training now?

can now be confirmed that the incident happened in Darfur, Sudan. A platoon of SANDF soldiers were on their way to relief another platoon on deployment when they were ambushed by unknown attackers. The soldiers were robbed of their bullet-proof jackets, all their rifles and other equipment, as well as three 4X4 vehicles. Luckily the attackers did not make off with their RG-32 (Mamba) armoured vehicles. A technical team of the SANDF has been sent to Darfur to investigate the incident.

What is worrying is that this is the second time that this has happened and if they were ambushed, the question is asked what happened to their counter-ambush immediate action drills?
