Please Gurus in the house I want to ask a very bothering question, I applied for study permit May 15 for my September 2021 program, because of the delay I deferred my admission and my course has only the Fall intake meaning for Sept.2022, I already sent the new admission letter issued by the school through webform which they have acknowledged by mail. Now i.want to know
1) Are there still chances my Study permit gets approved
2) If approved I can only go August 2022 as you can only fly a month to.your program, will it still.be valid by then.

Thank you would appreciate any sincere replies from anyone.
Thanks again.

What of someone for Fall 2021, and deferred already but the next intake is Fall 2022, will the person still need to send the new LOA to IRCC
Legacyedition:

Please don't inform ircc for now. As at this minute, you do not have a valid LOA. Let them work with what they have which was valid as at the time of submission. Biko, Edakun.

It depends on the institution. For my alma mater,I simply went to the school alumini site and apply for Letter of English Proficiency, and it was sent to me, through the Office of Registrar.

How do you get the IELTS waiver letter
EmeeNaka:
You can get IELTS waiver letter. It's enough to get your Visa processed but if IRCC want you to follow NSE route, they will request for IELTS from you.

It might be due to maintenance of the website... They usually do maintenance around 4am to 5:30 am EST which is like between 10am to 11:30am here

Anyone in same situation with me or have encouraging answers?

Guys my eligibility hasn't started yet and my background check is still being reviewed, could this be the reason?
I included travel to Nairobi on one of my IMM forms too.
Did you do your biometrics before May 15th

Coz I also submitted my application May 15th and apart from biometrics nothing has changed

Please for fanshawe college students, pls how did you pay using Flywire

Generate a Flywire account and then choose pay through bank option, print out the slip with the total fees summary and take it to your bank of choice with your admission letter, international passport and other educational certificates (school cert, nysc cert if any etc)

Please we need guidelines

Hello everyone
I have done my biometrics on 31st but I didn't submit my application with upfront medical. Should I go ahead and do the upfront medical or wait for IRCC to request for it?
Please anyone with idea of what to do?
Thanks

I feel it's your choice to do that, either upfront medicals or you wait for IRCC. I heard the wait for their request always most times shows positive signs of approval don't know how true but it feels so from previous applicants

You can defer if no decision has been taken on your visa app. Finally, if its out, you send to IRCC immediately

Sorry if what is out, the deferred admission letter you mean or what, I didn't get that part please

The deadline should have been included in the conditional letter. There's nothing you can do other than to pay. You might have the option of deferring your admission.

Is it advisable to defer during an ongoing study permit application. And if yes what is he to do afterwards

Gather all the documents you'll need for clients information and scan all into one PDF file. You can then reduce them to required size using online pdf converter like ilovepdf.com. Same goes for the any other section.

Remove your phone number for security reasons

Okay ma thank you very much for the kindid advice I will now

Hello nairaland, please I need help from the gurus in the house.
I applied at the university of Regina for an undergraduate study through and agent, although I have a HND degree, without proper research on the degree I should have gone for, and I know that was a big mistake on my part.
I am 25yrs already and i don't know if this an issue, please kindly advice what to do.

To the best of my knowledge, since you have a HND you ought to go for an Advance diploma or Post Graduate Certificate program not an undergraduate program. But it can fly if we'll explained in your SOP reasons why you opted for an undergraduate course.

Let the gurus in the house give you more detailed reply

Thanks for your reply. But my question has not been attended to properly here, I know for the Proof of finance, that's where I put in my Sponsor and my statement of accounts, landed property, payslips etc and my Client information is where I put my CV, SOP, letter from my sponsor, letter from my employer , my certificates and all

Am asking that do we compress all this Files as One to Upload in this section or how do we go about uploading all this documents in just that one upload space.

Please state if the question is not clear. I would love if I can have a verbal explanation.

Please mine is a little deviation, congrats to have come this far. Please how did you go about your POF or you have been planning for it prior to this time. Should have been submitting but my POF is not near what I should submit. And my school does not want me deferring to January 2022 but fall 2022. Thank you for your reply.

It will end in Praise.

I have a sponsor though and am also co sponsoring which means am submitting my own statement of account also. Just like my school too they only take Fall intakes for international students

Please to all the gurus in the house

Please I have a burning issue I would like clarity on.
I got admission into Fanshawe College for September 2019 in July 2019, I paid the admission deposit of $2,300 CAD in August 2019, but couldn't apply for a Study Permit I thought of deferring to January 2020, but the School told me they only take September in takes, so I deferred to September 2020. Then the pandemic came and all, due to lack of funds and all I couldn't apply for Study Permit again, So I deferred till September 2021 (this year), with the only fees been paid to the school the admission deposit. Please can I still apply for a study permit with my uncle willing to Sponsor my education now since my Father backed out during the Pandemic. Please I need Reviews on what I can do or what are my chances, am a little bit scared.
Thanks to whoever is willing to help on this.
