Please, is anyone aware of the work schedule for Customer Care Reps at GLO? Since it's shift, from what time to what time typically? And how many days off? Anyone with information should please share. Thanks a lot in anticipation. |
Anibecca:Another one. |
Generaloluseye:I really don't know. |
https://www.nairaland.com/2962839/globacom-customer-care-representative/4 "Presently, Globacom just reviewed staff salary. Entry level for customer care is 2M per annum. That's 143k per month after tax and pension deduction. Customer care representatives with over two years of experience are on 2.5M per annum. That's 179k per month after all the deductibles. Gloworld executives are on 3.5M per annum. That's 251k per month after all the deductibles." What I saw in another thread. They're doing another test next week. |
shegzy0514:There will be interview for Management Trainee but I don't know how much they pay their MTs. |
shegzy0514:No. No other interview, just Bootcamp if you're selected for sales and marketing. |
I don't think I'll put my mind on this recruitment. Let it not be that they just published it for publishing sake, but they've already filled their spots. |
Wait oh. Does this really mean that 7Up didn't proceed with the recruitment? Or did they select few people already? This is so strange. |
They've started sending mails already? |
Shell may not be like that oh, but global/multinational companies usually have very high criteria for selection. If you scale through, you should be grateful to God. The competition is stiff. |
Interesting read so far. Best of luck to everyone still in the race. This thing reminds me of when I applied for Graduate Program at British American Tobacco in 2019. I got a mail almost immediately for aptitude test. It was adaptive, meaning that the more questions you get, the harder the next one becomes till it's over. I got past this stage, to the telephone interview with one of their Recruiters in Romania. I basically passed through all 5-6 stages of the recruitment, till the final stage which was an AC at their posh office in Ikoyi. We were 8 in the final stage. 5 guys, 3 ladies. Normal group discussion, individual presentation, one on one interview etc. After everything, I didn't get any feedback from them until a month after. A regret mail. I later got to find out from one of the other candidates that ONLY 1 person was chosen. And the guy at the time, had worked in Forensics, with KPMG Nigeria and in the US; international exposure basically. Mehn! All that process and only 1 person was chosen at the end. |
"Hello ××××××, Thank you for your application and completing the Stage 1 advanced assessment. This is a highly competitive programme with many people applying. Unfortunately, on this occasion there were other candidates whose results were a closer match to what we are looking for. So, we will not be taking your application further in the process at this time." I wish everyone else still in the race best of luck. ![]() |
Omo. Mail don drop oh. "Hello ××××××, Thank you for your application and completing the Stage 1 advanced assessment. This is a highly competitive programme with many people applying. Unfortunately, on this occasion there were other candidates whose results were a closer match to what we are looking for. So, we will not be taking your application further in the process at this time." On to other things now. |
I just got a regret mail now. |
Wow.... What about this morning? |
Guys! Has anyone here received a success or regret mail? |
Omuka:Ha! Really? |
bobolarry:I'm sure that they'll review everyone's application. It may be like this because you didn't apply or do your test within the first few days of the opening. Let's just be positive. |
ralphelo:Hmm... These figures look grand. But I don't want to get too excited yet. Let's just see what the next stage of this recruitment holds. |
ExpertNLer:Hmm.... |
ExpertNLer:The issue is that there are even different figures online. You can't be sure which is which, except an insider or a former staff gives us an idea. I even saw one blog saying $2,500 per month. Lol |
tundeloveday:Cool! I'm just glad that we don't necessarily have to follow everybody's "opinions", if not we might all become confused. ![]() Bye OP. |
tundeloveday:Very unnecessary thing to do. We don't need to crash anyone and move to another. We can simply choose to follow both posts and the world will not end. None is better than the other. |
I think we should all just take it easy, till they give feedback. Now that we know the status has changed for some people, let's just hold on for the next step. |
onyiokoye:Mine as well. |
Has anyone gotten feedback? |
SimpleGuy001:Omo, it's at best still just a rumor because nobody has come forward to confirm it. |
BCAV:No, it's not. If you click it, it will lead you to your insights. |
onyiokoye:Hmm. Let's wait and see if it's true, even though I don't think so. Meanwhile, application closes on the 21st. |
Lawsonking:I don't know yet oh. Has anyone received an invite for the On-Demand Video Interview? |
emirumi:None yet. |
Idrismusty97:Lol I personally don't think that anyone should be taught how to answer a personality test. It's about you describing yourself oh. You can read about the company's work culture before hand, but it's best to just choose the level of agree/disagree that best describes you. |

Job hunting self is tiring, if we are being too cautious of everything including personality test then whatever insight we get is fake. An hardcore extrovert would be getting insight akin to introverts and vice versa. If you get the job you might be placed in roles you don't match and will end up living a fake life the rest of your life, but the pay is worth it i guess
