Such a beautiful city (view of lake Zurich), with fast fancy cars and great wine bars.

Crisp and Juicy glass of Prosecco at our hotel club lounge to cap up off our long flight when we arrived!

Stay tuned for part 2: Headed to Lucerne and Mt. Titlis

Ended the day attending the Soirée de Champagne experience at Movenpick Wein Bar. It was phenomenal, super delish and we enjoyed a full bottle to ourselves paired it with bacon wrapped dates.

Hey Nairalanders, it’s your girl Ms Travelin Diva and I’m in Switzerland…Zurich to be more specific! Here are the deets (slang for details) for day 1 which was a success!

Lodged at the Hyatt Regency Zurich City Circle by the airport which I highly recommend. It’s no surprise that Switzerland is one of the most expensive countries to visit, but it’s beautifully gorgeous and worth it in my opinion. Anyhow, this 5 star hotel is MUCH more reasonable, fairly brand new and the center of town is only a 10 minute train/tram ride away. Zurich is very walkable, we walked (ALOT) and took public transportation everywhere. Tip: purchase the Zurich card if you’ll be in the city touring for a day, it’s 27 CHF and good for 24 hours unlimited travel on local transportation (train, bus, ferry included).

First stop: FIFA Museum and it was incredible! The Swiss have engineering and interactive experiences down to a science!

Check out my Instagram @Mstravelindiva_ if you want to see a more in-depth video experience!

Stay tuned for more of Switzerland, we’re headed to the alps next!

FIFA Musuem:

Football. Fútbol. Fußball. Voetbal. Calcio. Jalkopallo. Kora. Soccer. The names vary, but the game’s the same. And it’s played everywhere. In every village and city in every country on every continent.

That’s why when you enter the exhibition of the FIFA Museum you are greeted by giant video screens showing football from locations around the world. It is a worthy beginning of an exhibition that is dedicated to a game that continues to connect and inspire the world.

From hidden bars (speakeasies) to delicious brunch options, a visit to the Pacific Northwest in the US is worth the stop. Here are a few fun facts!

There are few cities in the world blessed with a more beautiful setting than Seattle. It is surrounded by rugged wilderness; to the west the Olympic Mountains, to the east the volcanoes and glaciers of the Cascade Range, and all around the brisk waters of the Northwest. Delightfully known as the “Emerald City”, Seattle got its nickname from its lush greenery. The city and surrounding areas are filled with greenery all year round echoing Washington State’s moniker as the Evergreen State. Alas, Emerald City isn’t its only nickname. For pretty obvious reasons it is also called Rain City, the Coffee Capitol of the World (Starbucks) and Jet City (Boeing). Add to that an overall walkability score of 73 and you’ve got pretty much all you could ask for.

What is Seattle, Washington known for? A surprising number of things! Seattle is famous for Starbucks and overall coffee culture, grunge music scene, the Seahawks, the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, headquarters of a lot of the tech industry (including both Amazon and Microsoft), hiking, kayaking, and general outdoors lifestyle (think REI).

Travel / K-1 Visa To US Citizenship In 5 Year W/no Rfi’s | Let Me Show You How by Mstravelindiva: 5:00pm On Dec 30, 2022
Hey Nairaland,

It’s your girl Ms. Travelin Diva,

This time I wanted to switch it up a bit. I’m thinking about creating an easy DIY/”How To” 5 or 6 part video series on our K1 – Citizenship journey. We did it ourselves in 5 years, no attorney and with not one RFI (request for additional information).

Knowledge is power, and I’m a big advocate on not gatekeeping valuable information and sharing it with my peeps. Full disclosure, I’m not an attorney just a humble sista who enjoys reading, traveling and sharing valuable pearls of wisdom as we all navigate this thing called “life”!

What are your thoughts? Is this an outdated/repetitive topic on this forum or do you think it would be a value for someone to break it down in simple terms? Comment below and if this thread hits the front page, then I’ll take that as a YES…you’d like a fresh perspective and for me to create this content for you.

Hi fam, this is your guy, Snowland. I know it's been a while since I did a public giveaway. Here's one before the year ends.

I'm giving away a total of N270,000 and I'm going to need assistance with selecting the lucky winners.

In case you're wondering why 270k, here's why.

About 10 years ago, precisely 12/27/2012, I attended my first and last F1 student visa interview at the US consulate, Abuja and the journey to where I am today started on that day.

Nairaland was extremely instrumental to my adequate preparation, hence I want to give back to this forum once again, particularly in this Travel section.

I'm thinking giving out 10k to 27 people or 27k to 10 people.

Here's what I need help with:

1. 27k to 10 people OR 10k to 27 people. Please like either of the 2 posts below to indicate your choice.

2. I need suggestions how to select this winners.

Suggestions to Number 2 above, with the most likes will be adopted.

UPDATED UPDATE: Once this thread gets to end of 4TH page, suggestion with the most likes, no matter how ridiculous it sounds, WILL be adopted.

Snowland.

What an awesome “pay it forward” gesture of kindness! Sending you peace and blessings friend!
