I can tell you empirically - I have, in countless multiple folds. I dont know where I would have been without being properly educated. |
airminem:Nope, not tired. Defeated. Prison is not a great place. Imagine being locked in a house filled with all sort of luxuries but have your right of freedom withdrawn. It will feel like hell, not to talk of being incarcerated in a dingy place. Most people hailing him here are enjoying their absolute right of movement. Jan 19 will seem like a 5 years to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. |
I think people need to go to the bank to deactivate online transaction on their account, especially if you do online transactions much. You only need to tell your bank and it will be done. Just allow for ATM withdrawal alone and don't ever send anyone to withdraw at the ATM for you. |
Bedtec:Can you just excuse yourself when matters that require functioning brain cells are being discussed?. Are you never tired of this rubbish you type? |
joey150:The 8 years truly feels like a slap in the hands but we take solace in the "restitution" of the money that will happen. Big congrats to the EFCC for a job well done. |
BeeBeeOoh:In a saner clime, people will boycott the services of these banks. It's not too late for the FG to charge the banks. We will be waiting for those silly individuals that will play the "tribe" cards when this happens. You single out the politicians without focusing on the citizens in the public sector that enables their fraudulent activities. May it not be well with Maina and his cohort in this life and afterlife. He lives in opulence on other people's sweat and blood. Damn! |
HonNL:Congratulations to the EFCC; it is never an easy feat to get a conviction under this environment. The Judge should be applauded for ordering restitution of the money. The only dark blemish I saw was the easy landing. People like Maina deserve to serve the maximum judgement - 14 years. Maina, through his actions had sent lot of pensioners to their untimely death, the judge should not have been moved by his silly mercy plea. |
Happened:He was appearing like a strong man to the people in the picture, holding a glass of wine, but behind all that, lies a pile of worries and uncertainty. This road he is trudging, he does not know where it will end.................Don't be fooled. |
dawnomike:In as much as I dont like the Governor, freedom of speech doesnt cover that. That is "slander" which is a criminal offence in our constitution. |
DoggoneDogg:To answer your question, I am NOT stupid. You are too emotional and take things to heart. This marks the end of conversation with you. I hope you get better as a person. Greet your Mum for me. |
anonymous1759:Tell them ![]() |
DoggoneDogg:Read what you wrote so slowly. Messi has all these achievements as one person and you spread his achievements over 3 players. Will you now ask for the fusion of these 3 players as one individual and hand over the Balon d 'or? |
DoggoneDogg:To start with, don't be too emotional about football, it is all entertainment. Stop using the word "Nonsense" in public forum to express your frustration on a subject. It does not rub off too good on you. Be a gentleman. To answer your question, I copied this from what @Depidt wrote in his earlier submission: 1.Won the Spanish league Golden boot for top scorer. 2. Won the Spanish FA cup or Copa Del Rey. 3. Registered 38 Goals and 12 Assists across the season. 4. Won Copa America. 5. Won the Golden ball for best payer at Copa America. 6. Won the Golden boot for highest scorer at Copa America. Above is Messi's credentials for ballon dor. Just mention someone that surpasses that individual achievement. Be fair. Be objective. I am waiting at the other side of the aisle for your response please. Remember Balon d'or is NOT about cup that you win collectively as a team, rather an individual award that showcases individual brilliance. |
DoggoneDogg:It was not about winning the Copa America but individual achievements. Ballon D'or is not a team award, it is an individual's award, and figures dont lie. |
Chochovini:Since you are now the authority that determines balon d or and since your opinion is what goes into the history book, it means Ronaldo has 6 balon d'or and Messi has 5. Are you ok now? |
DoggoneDogg:Did they have the same accomplishment like he has in Copa America? |
ddippset:Enough said! |
Election is here. It's understandable to make political statement to curry favour from the people. |
BluntTheApostle:Thanks a bunch for this input. I hope they read and learn about the workings of the law instead of making mockery of themselves in the public domain. I doubt that though as they will consider your submission too long. |
SarkinYarki:It is you that have serious deficiency in understanding how the law works; releasing him DOES NOT mean he is free from the charges, reason why he is placed under bail conditions. He will eventually have his days in court. It is up to the judge to determine if he is to be convicted or acquitted based on the arguments by both sides in court. |
Odewaleadesoye:Enough of all this nonsense that you wrote. If you have any hard evidence against any Senator, House of rep member or state house of assembly member, petition the police. Law doesn't work on hearssay. You are not in position to tell us he did nothing wrong. Rather go and make a statement at the EFCC office in Abuja as a witnsessbon support of Obi Cubana. We cant expect Nigeria to be better and expect criminals to walk free in our society, irrespective of the TRIBE . If Obi Cubana is clean, he will come out of this unscathed. None of the fraudster in our society has done anything good to us collectively than steal our commonwealth and destroy our reputation out there. |
Yahoo yahoo is now a pandemic in Nigeria. Tye youths are fast going down the drain. It's such a disaster. Difficult to raise a child in such an environment. |
Nonpartisan1:By giving us "Alisson Madueke's" treatment once again. Party of reckless looters. |
Its so easy for people to say. If the FG removes subsidy on electricity and fuel, the people will rise in anger. Sanusi is saying the right thing but will citizen allow that to be done? NO. And that was why past presidents were afraid to do it as well. |
Metrix147:I stopped reading when I got here. The court is meant to adjudicate on issues like this. It is NOT for the Anglican bishops to determine who is guilty and who should be acquitted. Kanu should go and defend himself and justify all the incendiary actions against the Nigeria state. When the likes of Kanu and Igboho were going off tangent, these Anglican bishops kept quiet. Everybody was trying to be political correct now, including the so-called Bishops. Nigeria is not a perfect nation. No country is and we have representatives through which we can channel our grievances. Anything done outside that is like inviting problem. You might say our representatives (Rep and senators) are corrupt. Then let keep on voting people of repute instead of collecting loaf of breads during elections. Those guys, as corrupt as they are, are the only entities recognized by our constitutions to tender our concerns. |
TempUser:This is too procedural Embrace object orientation for code reusability |
But someone in the ilk of the governor, and other politicians will still go ahead to hire merchants of death (NURTW guys). Talking from both sides of the mouth. |
This babe must have received thousands of messages from guys on this platform. Just know that most of them want to use you to cross to the other side. It's a trade by barter now. They will give you the baby you need but might not stay when they get to the other side. Are you ready to deal? Otherwise you might come here again writing about how Nigerian guy breaks your heart. |
Buhari didn't arrest you. Buhari didn't ask you to forge another country"s passport. Buhari didn't ask you to run scared across the border. Even, when you threatened to kill battalion of Nigeria soldiers if they dare come to your house with your charms, you still ran away, abandoning your followers in the dark. So, why dragging the presidency into it?. |
This generalisimo (Aare Onakakanfo) is so scared. He should be the one protecting the south west according to his job title. He should be on the battle field instead of living an opulent lifestyle. Have we been duped again? |
Can the people in charge of our education in Nigeria borrow a leaf from this. Making students in secondary school to study 18 subjects is quite overwhelming and too stressful. Most of these subjects can be combined together as one subject. 18 subjects, 18 different syllabuses. This makes it almost impossible for children to develop their God-given talents in other areas China has passed an education law aimed at reducing the pressures of excessive homework and intensive after-school tutoring, state media say. Parents are being asked to ensure their children have reasonable time for rest and exercise, and do not spend too much time online. In August China banned written exams for six and seven year olds. Officials warned at the time that students' physical and mental health was being harmed. In the last year the state has also introduced a number of measures aimed at moderating children's "addiction" to the internet and popular culture. The latest measure was passed on Saturday by the National People's Congress Standing Committee, the country's permanent legislative body. Full details of the law have not yet been published, but media reports suggest it encourages parents to nurture their children's morals, intellectual development and social habits. Local government will be responsible for implementation, such as providing funding for "enriching extra-curricular activities". The law received a mixed reaction on social media site Weibo, with some users praising the drive for good parenting while others questioned whether local authorities or the parents themselves would be up to the task. "I work 996 [from 9am to 9pm, six days a week], and when I come home at night I still need to carry out family education?" one user asked, quoted by the South China Morning Post newspaper. "You can't exploit the workers and still ask them to have children." In July, Beijing stripped online tutoring firms operating in the country of the ability to make a profit from teaching core subjects. The new guidelines also restricted foreign investment in the industry and disrupted the private tutoring sector which was worth around $120bn (£87bn) before the overhaul. At the time, the move was seen as authorities trying to ease the financial pressures of raising children, after China posted a record low birth rate. Education inequality is also a problem - more affluent parents are willing to spend thousands to get their children into top schools. Source: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-59020837 |
Very misleading headline. The US never instructed the jet to be restricted in the North. The US just said ".....particularly in the North", that's not a restriction. US updates their terrorist list database constantly. I'm not sure if IPOB has been designated as a terrorist organisation. If Nigeria does that, then Tucano Jet is heading to the South East skyline. |
