If you don't have anything to say ,why don't you mute this topic?
It seems, you don't have the knowledge of Debt incurred by Developed Countries like USA.
Do NOT waste your time. Some individuals are not worth debating.

At least they are making good use of their loans secured unlike here where leaders steal with reckless abandon.
Do you know about US military industrial complex?

It reeks with corruption.

My concern is how the westerners were able to successfully create the impression in the mind of Africans especially that they were pious, honest and devoid of corruption, and that their geography is a paradise on earth.

Too much Hollywood movies have really injured us mentally as a continent.

Most of the debt is actually internal debt and not the type of Debt Tinubu govt owes ..the US does not go around borrowing from countries like APC govt does ... most of it are just IOUs to U.S. banks, pension funds, insurance companies, and even the Social Security Trust Fund that hold Treasury bonds.

For example the 780bn US owes China is Treasury bonds the Chinese bought to stabilize their local currency...dont allow any APC data boy mislead that the Americans are owing more than Tinubu 😂😂😂
Chinese bought US bonds to stabilize their local currency? How? Do you even know what bond means? shocked

Tinubu (Nigeria) is owing more than Tinubu? How? shocked

Trump will restrict visa issuance to Nigerians even if your country qualifies, and if by any chance you make it there and you attempt to japa, its a suicide mission.

Which country is greater than the USA_

Tell me

cheesy cheesy cheesy
In term of what?

Do not use a broad brush to paint.

USA is not greater in all aspects.

For instance, USA passport has dropped out for the first time (this year) out of the 10 most powerful passport in the world and has the same power as Malaysia passport (https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/articles/c4gpx51905po).

Luxemborg, Qatar, Singapore just to mention a few have better per capital income than the US - This means that average individuals in these countries are richer and better off than their counterparts in the US.

In term of safety and security, it ranks low - US is ranked 131 out of 163 countries (https://www.simmrinlawgroup.com/research/the-safest-and-most-dangerous-states-in-america-2024/#:~:text=How%20Does%20the%20United%20States,and%20many%20other%20common%20crimes.)

So, next time, be more specific about your submission.

Manmusteat:
All these you have written is nonsense. I did not elect any government to provide me with any goddam enabling environment. Is it why governments are elected? The role of any government is to provide its citizens with necessities of life like quality health care, education, security, power supply, drinking water etc etc. Not all these nonsense capitalist ideas of government providing so-called enabling environment and the citizens should do the rest.
By the way, you guys keep saying that the government's policies are on the right direction and you people always fail to mention a single one of those so-called right policies. Not a single power generating plant has been build since buharis government uptil now, which is what truly matters if you are to industrialize, and in so doing create millions of jobs. Ajaokuta steel company is still comatose and dead, and industrialization is not possible without a functional steel industry. The list is endless jor.
If what you mean by right policies is the floating of the naira to the mercy of the markets and speculators, removal of subsidies on literally everything, refusing to increase the national minimum wage but instead only the executive and legislative branches enjoying enormous pay , not a single national public transport system in operation and yet the president buying a brand new presidential jet costing atleast 150million dollars, 5 billion naira yatch etc etc those are nothing but policies of an economic hitman, sent to commit the treasonable crime of destroying his own country's economy.
I stopped reading your rebuttal at the first paragraph. Everything you claim the government is not elected for, you ended up confirming.

Do you even understand what "ENABLING" environment means?

I terminate further discussion with you on this basis. We are simply far apart intellectually, no pun intended.

🚨 BREAKING . If Nigeria 🇳🇬 WINS the playoffs at the expense of Gabon, Cameroon, and Congo, they will advance to the inter-confederation World Cup playoffs.

Nigeria will have a seeded status there, meaning they will ONLY NEED to play the FINAL and NOT the semifinal.

If they WIN that final, Nigeria will qualify for the 2026 World Cup. 🏆

HOPE DEY
This hope long like snake.

They have the chance to qualify, relax and be training for the world cup,

This backdoor is looking like hell.

Michelin coming back is a good thing but does that translate to better life for the populace that have long been bastardized by all the anti - human policies of this rudderless government?
A company which has left your country for 18years is coming back when it sees Nigeria is going in the right direction.

Now. the company will recruit staff and pay salaries and taxes to the govt. You are still lamenting.

Let me tell you - the work of the Governmemt is to provide an enabling environment which will allow private companies to come in and drive the economy. If you are still waiting to be given handout at this age, then it’s a disaster.

Place value on yourself and position yourself for the oppportunity that is coming. The FG is doing its work, do yours by improving your skill sets. Enough of this lamentation. Some individuals have naturally failed in this world due to the choices they made in the past, but now blaming the govt for their predicaments. It has to stop!. Some individuals are earning over 1 million per month in salary. Why can’t we count you as one of them? The only thing you do is to throw your toys out of the pram as a self entitled individual.

Don’t always think of what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country . You can only think this way if you have something to offer - go and be valuable ..

Nigeria is moving in the right direction and companies and world institutions are seeing and responding accordingly.

Cocony:
Keep quiet if you are not well equipped with knowledge of CAF requirements for playoffs.
The 2 games played by the eventual 2nd position teams against the last position teams will not count as well as goals scored, conceded and points gained or lost.
This is due to Eritrea's withdrawal from the Moroccan group.
As it stands Gabon or Cote D'Ivoire depending on the outcome of their last matches are assured of a play off. The next person assured of a playoff spot is Cameroun. Burkina Faso can only be sure if Uganda does not won by 3-0, if Nigeria does not won by 4:0 and if DR Congo draws or loses.
People should not rant without knowledge. The CAF Website as well as Wikipedia is your friend.
Lot of "ifs".

Then I am sorry, I understand English language is not our first language . Next time, write this....If Uganda does not win (not won). Thanks

They are okay now. The only thing that can stop them from qualifying for the playoffs is if Uganda score more goals. Because right now they are above Burkina Faso and Niger, the only team that still have any chance is Dr Congo. So if Dr Congo secured their own we are still there

Super Eagle has shown they are horrible.

The only good thing is allowing this Benin to go play in the World Cup while Nigerians and South Africans are eating pop corns at home, watching the events.
