fergie001: But you can dictate to them how much aids you want. IMF is reviewing $1bn loan we requested, as we speak.
Let him go there and be shouting sovereign nation, they will play television for him.
Our foreign policy has been shambolic. Utterly disgusting, high cost of governance on persons with no heads. Countries all over the world engage lobbyists, especially as it has to do with more powerful and economic nations. Two years in, no ambassadors........ Even the rumoured names on the list doesn't even give a glimmer of hope.
No be only sovereign, na Sowore. Guys, be properly educated. IMF is not the same as the US. IMF is a global institution who disburses money in dollars. Anytime you hear dollars, you think it’s the US. Go to school, you say who school helps. And by the way, remind me who is the most indebted country in the world - is it not the US, which majority of her citizens are currently living on food stamps right now? |

I’m not a fan of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, but he’s right about one thing — the black man, especially the Nigerian, often fails to reason. People will still defend the indefensible, just to side with this so-called professor who’s busy trying to please his paymasters. What is it with some people and power? Tell me one thing Trump has done to stop the daily killings through guns in the US. You guys are just subservient to the whites. The cycle of violence never stop there. |

Trump is a bully. And let it be on record, the northerners are quite nationalistic . They wil fight to the death, just like people in the Middle East. US marine is not a silver bullet . For the rest of the world, Nigerian christians are endangered people under this Islamic brotherhood regime. Pls don't abandon us to be slaughtered like chicken by the marauding Islamic terrorists. Iran is nationalistic and her citizens say no to US intervention in their lands despite hating the Ayatollah regime. Nigerians, especially in certain part of this nation are jumping up and down that a foreign power is threatening their own country. It’s unfortunate. All these will count against you at the electoral box. |

Kreesxxx: US is a country that preaches freedom and granting people their overwhelming desire. Nigeria shouldn't be an exemption. The Islamists being majority in the north want a country strictly governed by Islamic tenets including Shari'a. The North West and North East states through Boko Haram have agitated for this for over 16 years. Instead of attacking them , they should have a country of their own where strict Islamic rules will reign supreme. This is my humble submission. Trump’s US is not preaching freedom. He’s fully against freedom. A responsible nation doesn’t talk the way the US is talking. Putin keeps on killing Ukrainian Christians everyday, what has he done? A bully chooses a weaker targets and run away from a more dangerous targets. You can only cooperate and collaborate with a sovereign nation not all these threats. Some of you guys being happy haven’t even seen a warplane flying innocently on the sky before , with its deafening roar and dangerous manuevre, a mother will run forget her children. Too much Hollywood has affected you. The trouble you are seeking, you will get it one day, in full measure. |

Nazgul: This your post exposes how shallow your knowledge about what happens to country of particular concern is.
Let me explain it to you. When a country gets categorized as a “country of concern,” it sends the wrong signal to the global community, especially investors.
Foreign investors rely heavily on stability, credibility, and security when deciding where to put their money. Once a country is flagged, it creates fear of political risk, unstable policies, and possible sanctions. That alone is enough to make international companies look elsewhere.
It also affects trade relations, travel opportunities, and access to international funding or partnerships. Even Nigerians abroad could start facing tighter visa and business restrictions because other nations now view us through a lens of suspicion.
Would you still say we shouldn't be worried about this categorization? You are wrong. Other nations know that clown and felon is in power in the US. They can’t all wait for his term to expire for normal service to resume. |

US should take a chill pill. Trump cannot be dictating for the entire world. What is his problem?
Nigeria is like no other country that US has intervened. This is the largest black population country in Africa and any disharmony will trigger movement of people which will distabilise the entire Africa. The impact on asylum on western countries will be catastrophic .
When US made a felon their president, who complained? But they want to be controlling the world.

The Barcelona assistant coach standing in was quite ineffective. His presence not felt at all.
Yamal was pocketed. This game was set and match for Raphinha. Madrid was for the taking in the second half but no point man who could do the job.
Barcelona tried but they were outplayed and outmuscled by the Madrid players.
This wouldn’t determine the direction the cup goes yet. |
