@bakas Thanks for the info. We are getting a clearer picture of the good, the bad and the ugly among Nigerian banks. Ta! ![]() |
I dont think money can replace fulfilment ![]() |
@ Denex Many apologies. I just heard the sound of your snore ![]() |
@ All, I feel Nigerians should learn not to be beggarly. I feel it is wrong to put your burden on another person without considering what the person is going through. The idea of saying people in UK are more stingy that other people all over the world, to me, are words coming from a shallow mind. Are you saying that people in the US throw away their hard-earned money into the air for the people in Nigeria to be happy. It is not logical. Stingyness on its own boil down to individual person. One last thing, these lazy people asking for money from people abroad are the same set of people that will go behind you to say what has the person achieved since he has been abroad. Change your mentality, if you are still in the art of begging, learn to be self-reliant instead of grunting like a cat! |
@ Denex Dont be parochial in your view. This thread is meant for matured mind to discuss events that even transcend Nigeria. Some man is learning here !. Keep it going guys and babes in da house |
Which will u prefer : To earn more money but don't get fulfilled and contented with what you're doing or To get contented & fulfilled but with less pay Contribute please |
Has anyone got an idea how "HOT" the dangote flour is going to be. Can it be more successful or on the same scale as the Dangote Sugar ?. Reasons for your conclusion shall be highly appreciated. Ta! |
How does working in different sector apart from the training u had in either university/Polytechnic feel like?. Like some1 that studies engineering working in the bank. Any fulfilment there ?. Let hear u out |
;d |
@ All, Those people on this thread saying they are "LEGAL" as if they are the almighty God and saying that illegals should be kicked out are talking out of context. Only God knows how "YOU" got that LEGAL Status you are hanging on to. We should always look at how to make people happy not how to make them sad. A lot of people become illegal due to one thing or the other beyond their control. I feel if you are legal , thank God, if you r not, there is bright light and huge hope for u ahead. Shallom! |
Tony exudes confidence and charisma. He is an orator. I admire him especially during intense Prime minister question time at House of Common. He's splendid!. Many criticised Tony for following America sheepishly. Let's face it, there's no british PM that wont do America bidding if he is to succeed. Watch out for Gordon Brown, he will follow the same track. So many happen in the background that we people are not aware. A lot of batons are being passed at the top. I wish Tony Blair happy life as he resumes as a middle east envoy! |
;d |
I will miss him too. I love his gut as a leader |
The british people will miss him |
So far so good, GTB has been complimented by myriad of her customers. I hope the management teams are taking note, encourage the staffers and make them do more. Me I even love GTB for allowing customers to take their calls in the banking halls. This ensures that businesses are not lost while in bank! Intercontinental has received highest number of bashing, I hope people take note! ![]() |
Pls could some one in the house tell us how long will the madness inflicted on Oyo state by Adedibu and his political son Alao Akala go. Thugs of Road Transport worker, a union known to be sponsored by adedibu & Akala attacked civil servants who were on a peaceful demonstrations, and the state commissioner of police still had the gut to say that the civil servants provoked the thugs by abusing them. What a country! What a State! |
@ jomi, I feel u . I hope we will get some valuable response |
@everybody Thanks for all the contributions so far, but to the people that are suggesting 40 million naira plus, how do u think raising this kind of money abroad is feasible except taking a loan, peddling drugs etc. If that is the real case, then most of our people abroad wont be able to start something off in naija, as the u all know that to save money abroad is quite hard! ![]() |
@trustboy, you have my unreserved apology @ottoxy, is PH no more part of niger delta. I beg i no wan end up in the creek ![]() |
@ bigboylay & Jomi, You seem to flow with my tide. One needs a small & humble beginning. Even if i have a high taste and fashion sense, must i be riding a 2M naira worth of car, even when i know that my financial situation cant support, all in the name that i just come from abroad. All these mentality of feeling more superior more than the people back home needs to be thrown away if we really need to make a headway in Nigeria. Pls more people should contribute |
@ trustboy I really want u to know that a lot of pple that have run back abroad after relocating to Nigeria might get their strategy wrong. When u r in Nigeria, u need to relate to the pple like a Nigerian, not like european or american. Some people still want to do things that they cant afford all in the name of impressing or oppressing pple in Nigeria, thereby wasting their funds unnecessarily. Nigeria is not that bad as a country. We need to see the positive side rather than the negative. Most of the people abroad are not really better off than the people in Nigeria. Forget abt the facts that they ask u for phones, money etc, u need to go to Nigeria to be able to realise how far pple abroad have gone behind. Majority are really slaving it out here abroad but fortunately for them those in NIGERIA never know the kind of hardships they are passing through. I believe that with the right strategy, belief and GOD, one can easily get it right in Nigeria |
![]() I'm scared! |
I have been living abroad for a quite a while and Im now planning to relocate to Nigeria to start something off. How much do u think I will need to save before leaving abroad to make my would-be buisness triumph in Nigeria?. Frank and serious contributions pls |
Just want to know if a 29+ old single lady can still be juicy to a man, when there are many 20+ old girls still single. Are they getting out of network or the network is unreachable already ?. Please contribute |
Thanks mate. Still xpecting other people to contribute |
Kinldy let's know some websites of free online tutorials. I guess this will help some individual out there, especially people who cant afford to buy book(s) I know of www.webmonkey.com Pls contribute |
I have been monitoring events in Oyo state & I can categorically say that both Adedibu & Akala have turned Oyo State into an Ugly mess. The thugs (Tokyo boyz) are on rampage, ready to kill & maim at will, Lawlessness is on the high and the people are living in fears What do u think can be done to stop these people that are hell bent on destroying this ancient city |
I strongly feel CBN should intervene in some of these their shady deals as they are completely ripping off innocent Nigerians. They have no logical explanation for their acts, and i feel more people should voice out on this forum how they have been cheated so that we know those banks that are most involved ugly act. ![]() |
What Bad Experience(s) Have You Had With Your Banks ? OCEANIC BANK I opened an account with Oceanic bank, Iwo Road Branch & I was told to wait for some few weeks for the cheque to arrive. I was told that any time I want to withdraw, i just need to write a letter specifying the amount i need to withdraw. To my UTMOST dismay, when I wanted to withdraw at the OCEANIC Bank, Gbagi Branch, I was told at the customer service that they would charge me for N250 for not having a cheque. I said he should give me reason why I have to pay for bank's mistake and he just said thats the bank policy. I feel that thats a RIP OFF!! |
Atiku is a good riddance to bad rubbish, End of the Road (Boyz 2 men, sing on plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) ![]() |
Last year was the last increase |
But i think moderacy should apply especially when no high commission could just increase price arbitrarily in their own soil |
