Faithful007:This is a sad for the free world. Who can ever say Europe and America will square off in a battle like this? Thanks to the stupid Trump. He might actually start the decline of the US. Any country is only as strong as the quality of its allies. US is strong due to the quality of her allies and by attacking the same allies, it’s doing itself a serious disservice. EU embraces dollar as world currency reserve. They form military alliance with the US. They are a block which conduct trade with the US. They share intelligence with the US. Trump is about to end all and leave the US isolated. We will see how all this eventually play out but the best way to deal with a bully is to stand up to a bully. This was what Canadian Pm failed to do and it costs him his premiership. |
zoedew:How does that sound like American president? Do you even know how American president sounds? Someone is about to make smaller nations to pursue nuclear weapons to protect themselves against bullies. His action will make the world a more dangerous place to live. What’s the difference between him and putin in their quest to forcibly expand their territories? |
AllenSpencer:😄😄😄 |

I love your insight but the Federal Government cannot change the Ministries mandate. Pressure needs to be mounted on the state governors to stop giving fertilisers and seedlings given to them free by the federal ministry of agriculture to non farmers, to protect the farm lands in their respective states instead of selling to real estates . Some individuals are saying Nigeria should be importing foods. Shame. Importing foods which will put pressure on naira against the dollars again. Country with over 250 million people can’t provide food for themselves but want to rely on other countries which have a robust plan for their own agriculture. Nigerians will learn. |
coleon:I understand your type and the way you reason. Ignorance is a bliss but I will get you educated. Federal Ministry of Agriculture just provides directions and policies for the State Ministry of Agriculture to align with., provides support for local farmers, provide grants and loan to the states, provides regulations and enforcement and engages with stakeholders. The actual implementation is done by the State Ministry of Agriculture. The Federal Ministry of Agriculture simply collaborates with the States who own the land. So, can you see how silly you are for calling your lineage ”daft”. When you were advised to take your schooling serious and you refused, it was to prevent this disgraceful contribution you just made in an open platform😄. Sit this discourse out, it is beyond you. |
Dozie32:While you keep eating ukwuobi in your own house😄 |
The state government owns the land, what are they doing with it. Hold your Governors responsible for some actions. The Governors collect monthly allocations and own the lands. Stop focusing on the FG to solve all your problems. |
This is a play. The Governor appearing like he is prosecuting the two of them to the public. The public swallows the bait and believe. Everyone knows Hamzat is a paddy to the Governor. Then the case goes to court. Police appears in court and does not present enough evidence or prepare strong argument in court. The two of them walk. The Governor says I do my own part but the court frees them. The public accepts his narratives. Everything returns to the way it was. Sad story of Nigeria and Nigerians. |
Canadian economy is in a real mess now and will be worse after Jan 20. Wicked Trump claims his first casualty. |
Built2last:You obviously have a comprehension issue . My post has nothing to do with judging if Trump will enter heaven or not but the bible says by their deeds you shall know them. By Trump’s deeds, he’s not a Christian. Someone begging for votes in Georgia to win forcibly. Someone who sexually molested a woman a crime which he had been convicted for. Someone who engaged in tax fraud, a crime which the jury found him guilty and which will make him the first American convicted felon president You can’t only love your country when the result favours you. Stop insulting Christianity with your blind support for Trump. |
Built2last:You obviously have a comprehension issue . My post has nothing to do with judging if Trump will enter heaven or not but the bible says by their deeds you shall know them. By Trump’s deeds, he’s not a Christian. Someone begging for votes in Georgia to win by rigging, You can’t only love your country when the result favours you. |
Where is Pastor Joseph Obafemi who was appointed as the leader of RCCG Nigeria? People pretend he never existed. He should be the one taking the spotlight since Baba Adeboye was appointed the head of RCCG worldwide . I can bet most Redeemed members don’t remember the name Obafemi again. Politics in the church |
nairavsdollars:Trump is not a Christian. Stop insulting Christianity. A person with such horrible behaviour and characters can never be. Are you saying hate-filled Trump is Christ-like? |
The judge has made it clear that he would give him the sentencing of “unconditional discharge”, which means that he will face no penalties but he will forever wears the tag of a convicted felon. |
veraponpo:The horrible governors need to play a huge role in agriculture especially. This government is repositioning Nigeria. Very nice |
kings59:My brother, ceiling and roofing for 2.5 million? Op is talking about gerrard. Roofing alone will cost more than 2.5 million. Windows and doors for 1.5 million? For a contemporary building? Impossible |
How can a person makes someone sad and expect to be happy in his lifetime. I have heard people saying they should have invested the ill gotten money, forgetting that they must pay for their evil deeds. It could be over their children, families etc Karma is real. |
oz4real83:Seriously, I would have expected your stupidity to melt away with 2024. You wrote pointless epistle, all in the name to justify needless killings in the United States, without countering the point I raised that nowhere was safe in the world. Nigeria is a developing country. US is number 1 developed country in the world. By the virtue of their global standing, you would expect them to provide a secured environment for their citizens. You are foaming in the mouth about post shooting actions. That is reactionary. A secured country takes action before crime happens but how would they, with guns in so many hands. What concerns the dead with post shooting actions? I know you do not live in the US , so you cannot acknowledge the fears that sweep over here over guns. Many families are deeply mourning right now, and you are here defending nonsense. How many developed nations are exposed to these degree of harm? Even average Americans know it is a mess not to talk of wannabes like you wanking over issues which you have no stake. Consider this as my last piece to you. |
God1000:A country where a child goes to school and the parents are not sure he or she is coming back home. You go to a crowded area or mall, you are not sure you won’t be killed with a bullet. It’s horrible what happens here on a daily basis, yet Nigerians tout it as paradise on earth. |
What a way to start the New Year in the United States. A car ploughed into crowd of people and killed 10 people while many were left injured. It was not a DUI situation but the driver was so intentional to kill as many as he could. He even shot two police officers afterwards. This is a country where many people come to this platform to say is safe or safer than Nigeria. If it was to be Nigeria now, all hell would have been let loose . This is to tell you nowhere is safe in the world. https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cn4x88455qpt |
Randerl:If we do, all of you would still open mouth like rabid dogs that Tinubu is wasting Nigeria money. Wait till Nigeria has the balance, all these and more would be happening but for now, that’s not our priority. |
Well deserved |
Japa, a topic overflogged on nairaland. I hope 2025 will be truly different on this platform. |
Home, working on my project. The year has started, there is a need to put in the required shift. |
If the pastor can receive such, then he can also receive proceeds from armed robbers. The main questions is how many of our pastors or imams can return or reject such ? |
tpain121:Thunder doesn’t need to fire you, it’s “sense” I pray you acquire in 2025. How many students have dropped out in Nigeria universities ? Show your statistics instead of manufacturing arbitrary figures. In abroad, how many of their citizens make it to the universities? How many can even afford it there? When foreigners read you guys comment, they will think Nigeria is such a slum. Yes I understand your life can be seriously retrogressing but that doesn’t apply to all. Use 2025 to reevaluate your life, maybe, just maybe you could be among those making it in the country. Realistically it is looking so hopeless for you right now considering the frustration in what you earlier typed. And please consider this as my last reply to you as I don’t intend to spend the last day of 2024 with a retard. |
Stanbaba30:AJ actually represented Britain and not Nigeria. |
Dapromzy333:Get it right. Antony Joshua is a Nigerian but a former British Heavyweight Champion of the world. There is nothing like a Nigeria-British champion in his case. |
Larryfest:Don’t you think you are dumber with your entitlement mentality? |
Hussein052:Nigeria was not good then. Then, Nigeria started living like a prodigal son, failed to plan for the future. Nigeria was living a reckless life, spending anyhow. Nigerians were not paying the true worth of the items they were buying. Now the hens have come back home to roost and there is gnashing of teeth. |
lexzycc:Most of you are ingrates. You love running your mouth against your own country at every turn. Compare how much you are paying in Nigeria to how much you will be paying in Russia. In a way, you are getting better gifts compared to this through the subsidy of your tuition fees.. As a Nurse or doctor in training, for instance, compare how much you pay for tuition fee with your counterparts abroad. OAU students pay less than 1000 naira in tuition fee! Despite the FG asking Universities to increase tuition fee to be able to fund themselves, Nigeria universities are still one of the cheapest in the world. Yet, you are insulting the Fg over juice and apple. Shame on you. You guys are unpatriotic, selfish, wicked souls who can’t be appeased. |
