Are they stolen car? A big daddy tokunbo currently sells 7million naira and the naija used cost 4million plus. You are selling the same under 1.5 million. Ok o |
BeeBeeOoh:I will keep on saying, the Governors are the “monsters”. They are very greedy and highly corrupt. If 36 Governors make use of the monthly allocation judiciously and have a good framework for agriculture to support the federal government, then things will start to change in the country. The Governors are lavishing the money while the citizens keep attacking the President. What has Seyi Makinde accomplished in his state. Virtually nothing. Dude just has well oiled propagandist singing his praises. Someone should mention just two world class projects Seyi has done in Oyo state. He has sold all Oyo State commonwealth, and put the State House of Assembly in his pocket. |
MadamVanessa:You wrote this long essay on top of someone matter. While I do not support act of violence but he who wears the shoes knows where it pinches. |
NothingDoMe:If you can’t fuel your car, hop on a public bus as obtainable in other part of the world. Stop dreaming of 180 naira per litre, it can never be possible again. |
Baba would have won medal if he has chosen to represent us in the Olympics🙄🙄 |
JOACHINpedro:FG is even trying, what has the state done regarding the minimum wage. The Governors will fight NLC tire. |
ddippset:It’s the police constitutional responsibility to oversee protests all over the world , and when protests go awry, they will disperse the crowd. Regarding Governmemt sending “thugs”, is that an assumption or fact? If it’s a fact, could you please show evidence? |
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State angrily left the thread ![]() |
Kuginzi:This baba introduced "constituency allowance" for the legislature during his term. What is the business of a lawmaker, whose main responsibility is to make laws with such an allowance, which has served as one of the conduits of corruption ? |
shonepa:You guys are just as toxic as your political leaders. You wanted to affect the mental health of an athlete whose world record is still on display in Paris Olympic, yet to be broken. Was this the first of its kind? Definitely no. Let me school you. Ever heard of Patrick Domingos? I bet not in your miserable life. He was a Portuguese in long jump and a world record holder. He never qualified for the finals in 1988 Seoul Olympics and 1992 Barcelona Olympics, yet heaven did not fall. This entitlement mentality that has eaten deep into the fabrics of some Nigerians need to stop. You are not adding any value to your country, the few who are striving on their own to represent the country, you still want to destroy them with your misguided words and perspective. Amusan we know, who are you? |
I watched the relay and it was obvious that one Nigeria athlete was blocking another athlete from sprinting past. I wouldn't know if that was what the violation was all about. For those saying Nigeria "jaga jaga", you have failed to look into your life before condemning a Nation. Your life is the one "jaga jaga" , if not, you could have come out to win Gold for Nigeria since you feel entitled to win medal, even without preparation. |
yewit37486:Your prerogative is quite pathetic. Stop reasoning foolishly in 2024. Most times I do not feel sorry for you as an individual but I feel sorry for those innocent kids who you will bring into the world and indoctrinate with this gory mindset. The cycle of stupidity will never stop. Smell the coffee, it is day time. |
yewit37486:You keep on talking about being spiritual while the rest of the world is putting in good shift. Immediately this Olympic ends, the rest of the world will go to training their athletes using world class infrastructure and top of the cream coaches. Most of you guys misplace where you should focus your energy, reason why Nigeria is like this. The only thing you import to the world as a nation apart from crude oil is religion, where does that take you as a country? Keep being spiritual and go and win 100m race come Italy 2026. |
Connected1:You do not know there are lot of mumu on Nairaland. You wonder the kind of brain some individuals have, Some of them never watched a single game in the Olympics, they just rely on blogs and hearsay. Just read and pass. Don't bother responding to some silly dolts. |
shonepa:Being a world record holder does not mean she has a license to win in all competitions, She had a bad day, it is as simple as that. Noah Lyles won 100m Gold for the US but got Bronze in 200m. There is a story behind every medals won at the Olympic. |
AllenSpencer:The sad part is most people that travel are gunning for the British passport but I can tell you only a fraction will get it. UK will look for all means not to issue the passports to the majority, when they are due for it. |
sulaak:You are simply irredemable. Those countries that won medals, do you think it was by accident. Our atheletes finance their needs most times. I applaud their resolve. Go to most western countries and see how athletes are treated. You get what you put into life. What preparation did Nigeria make before the Olympics to make their athletes succeed? You are expecting gold when you make input of a brass. Life doesn't work that way, Mister. Destroy that silly mentality in your head to make progress in life. My last piece to you anyway. And if I may, are you not a Nigerian, what have you won for your Nation in your entire life? |
gibzzhd:You are just plain dumb. I watched it alive and she did her best. She had a fractional slow start. Nigerians need to stop this silly attitude. The whites applaud their own even when they come last for them to be encouraged in future competition. We have seen what Tobi Amusan did for the Nation and what history she has made, what values do you have? Amusan is still the current world holder. |
FahBuLous:OluMessi |
magoo10:Ignoramus, is all not well with China who has the highest migration too? |
emee701:You are comically delusional |
emee701:Have you been born during the regime of Bola Ige?. Seyi Makinde is at best a mediocre Governor |
happney65:You are sick in the head. The people are ill informed , otherwise they would have known the Governors in each state are more culpable than the presidency. Why did you only address the location I stated he went to spend his annual leave, why not addressed the more critical issues where I stated that he went on leave in the midst of crisis in the state and that he has sold oyo state commonwealth at every opportunity. I asked you to mention just two world class projects he did in Oyo state with the heavy monthly allocation he receives, you went mute. You are just plain dumb. You cant sell a bad product , no matter how hard you try. |
Bluntemperor:Thank you my brother. A Governor that is so disrespectful to the authority and judgement of the Supreme Court wants to be a Nigeria President. Joker! |
happney65:You are an ass licker. Maybe you should read this : https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/07/makinde-transmits-power-to-deputy-goes-on-vacation/amp/ Which General leaves the war front when the war is about to start? .Why did he choose that time to leave the state as the Chief Security Officer of the state during protest? The answer is simple - he has no idea how the protest would turn out and chose the safest path. |
pacificom:Tell me what he has done with the sumptuous monthly allocation in Oyo State. Mention just two world class projects in Oyo State. |
Some people are sick in the head. This is the same Governor that ran away from his state before protest. Number 1 chief security officer that left his state in the hands of his deputy as protest approaches. Who does that? Still abroad till this day. Someone that has sold all Oyo State commonwealth e.g Trans Amusement park, Agodi garden etc Dey I should not even be near Abuja not to talk of occupying Aso Rock |
JohnBullMySon:That was why i said from "primary school" - catch them young |
That was a vast improvement. We won a set. We knew the outcome before it started. Congrats to the D'tigress |
The Nigeria coach tried. Her service should be retained. Most of our schools dont have basketball courts. We dont have any coach too in both primary and secondary schools. There are local girls that could be inspired to start early but they dont even have electricity or cable to watch. So frustrating |
Okonkwo has been good but these US players are too much for us - Big, tall, skilled and fast. |
Bluntemperor:.......and the same Seyi Makinde ran away from protest since last week. The so-called chief security officer of the state left the state in the hands of his deputy before the protest. So pathetic he is abroad, monitoring the situation in his state, when the protest is over, he will sneak in. |
