Are you telling me that Jonathan as private citizen on his own can be able to form a party and within one year it will be winning a senatorial seat? Outside PDP protection, power, public money, both state/fedreral and local govt, can Jonathan can win a local govt election based only as Mr Jonathan from Bayelsa state?

I enjoy politics but never will I ever allow this game that you and I are just bystandesr to screw up my thinkng as a human being. CPC unlike the PDP has no single state governor ready to spend public money on the party as against PDP's 28 state governors. PDP have 36 NTA stations plus the national network as there own only, the same with 36 FRCN substations and their networks,  plus 28 state television and radio stations as their mouth piece only.

Jonathan has 5 presidential fleets of jets at his disposal anytime he wants for 24 hours to campaign unlike others. Do you know how much it cost to hire a single helicopter for just a hour, let alone 5 jets, 7 days, 24 hours a day, months after months.

Comparing CPC with others especially the PDP is like comparing an ORANGE with a lime in terms of everything especially financial resources. Like I said before, unlike ou, my mind is not corrupted by any partisanship but I wants to call a spade a spade by saying that CPC is punching well above their weight based on what just happened.

Leave PDP as a party today without a single governor, presidency for just one year only, let see how many people will remain as members, let alone, them winning a seat in anything. If you think I am wrong, please let me know where and how. The only party that lost what they got before this election is PDP, how can that be translated as a victory or am I missing something?

Looking at the margin of the NASS elections in Ogun state, the PDP may still win the state if and only if OGD and OBJ can reconcile and support the PDP candidate.

whether we like it or not defeating PDP will take TIME (assuming the party doesn't react to these results by improving) It is the ONLY party with an office in EVERY local government in Nigeria! That kind of grassroots reach will take some beating. For me once the election is free and fair then even a PDP win is acceptable. I don't believe it  MUST be party A or B, people want to feel respected as citizens and to know hey have a say even if the majority may have their way.

It would indeed be very interesting considering the fact that I have compared similar notes twice in the past in 2003 and 2007 when buhari lost despite pulling ' crowds' during campaigns in the north.Mind you, he was in a more established party then!

Compare the total registered voters to the total votes cast, you will see people didn't come out as such for this elections. Many people I encouraged to come out to vote told me next Saturday is their voting day.

 If ACN should do very well in all SW states and CPC fall second while PDP is forced to trail behind with less than 25% vote cast in each South-Western state, PDP/GEJ will be in for a serious trouble. Mind you many of those weak opposition parties will not have their supporters voting for a common enemy of people-PDP.

I think you should have a look at the votes pdp has in the SW and you would realise that they scored far more than 25% even in Lagos state. As a matter of fact it is cpc that could not score up to 10% .So is it magic that cpc would now use to come second in the SW presidential elections? Well, I guess it was just wishing thinking.
