Is their country and they can do whatever they want. If we don't like it we can go back to our country and fix it then we don't have to put up with it.

What is ironic is that Saudi - Arabia is not on the terrorist list of countries. I bet you they wouldn't dare put them on that list or the oil will stop flowing the next day.

When I call every Nigerian coward,I will be seen in bad light. If I make reference to America, they will ask me if I must compare everything to foreigners. Right now we are all in the village drinking palm wine, beer, sight seeing.watching masquerades and girls with one ear to the radio for them to tell us "why they struck".This is a country of cowards period.
I think all Nigerians know that is the truth , we are all cowards period. we can stop lying to ourselves

Can you imagine this happening in America? A president in the hospital for 30 days and refuses to give power to the vice president.  No pictures, no official word, i still don't know what the president has and why he is in the hospital?
Can you say fox news?
Can you say tea party already in front of the hospital protesting?
Only in Nigeria we put up with rubbish.

AGF said that He can rule from abroad even for up to six months. You think that this dudes are jokers? Only God,only God! He removed Abacha. I know that he has not forgotten us.If no that bomber would have exploded and Nigerians would have been running back to this country for fear of reprisal attack. God will do it again.

The root cause of Nigeria's problem is that we refuse to acknowledge the truth that Nigerians are cowards.Take it or leave it.
Thank you, until we decide we have had enough and that we are willingly to risk our lives and die for that country nothing will change.

I am so amazed how people can judge other people when you are not in their shoes.Do you know what the parents are going through now? They are questioning every decision they have ever made regarding their son.

Raising kids is not a joke. You can have a parent that gives the child everything, takes parenting classes, ask for therapist help on raising the kids and still the kids turn out horribly. Then you will have another one that hardly pays attention to their kids and ignores them but the child turns out perfect. There are kids out there born in the Ghetto raised by crack head mother and fathers that are in and out of jail for stealing and drugs, and they still turn out perfectly well.

Point been, no parents wants their kids to turn evil, they raise their kids to the best of their knowledge and do their best. Now at some point the child decides to choose between good and evil, and turn against everything the parent has taught them. You cannot blame the parent for that.

Another example is the African parents abroad that try everything to raise their kids properly in America. They try to instill the values they were taught in Africa when they were young. And the kids turn out so horrible, that you cannot believe that child is an african child. You can only do your best as a parent.

DETROIT

A passenger aboard the same Northwest Airlines flight that was attacked on Christmas Day was taken into custody here Sunday after becoming verbally disruptive upon landing, officials said.

A law enforcement official said the man was Nigerian and had locked himself in the airliner's bathroom. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation was ongoing.

Delta Air Lines spokeswoman Susan Elliott said crew members requested that security remove the man from Flight 253 after he became disruptive. The remaining 255 passengers got off safely, she said.

Airport spokesman Scott Wintner said it was the same flight on which a man tried to set off an explosive on Christmas Day.

"The pilot requested emergency assistance upon arrival," he said.

Security and airline personnel are on edge since the attempted terror attack on Christmas Day, and the law enforcement official said that lesser incidents had been reported on other flights arriving in Detroit, but the incident with the Nigerian man had sparked the most concern.

Later, officials reported that he was belligerent but genuinely sick, and that, in an abundance of caution, the plane was taken to a remote location for screening before passengers were let off.

Investigators concluded he posed no threat. Despite the government's decision after the attempted Friday attack to mobilize more air marshals, none was on the Sunday flight from Amsterdam, according to a government report obtained by The Associated Press.

Why don't people waste their sympathy on people that give a f**k about them. Cause I can guarantee the Babangida family does not give a f**k about any Nigerian. I hope her death was painful one

Firstly, if this was indeed a terrorist attempt at blowing up an airline then like everyone here I’m very pleased he failed.

But what a palaver!

[b]if I’m not mistaken, this is one of a number of such failed attempts of recent times. However, the coverage of this one far surpasses that of the others. The coverage could not have been greater if an alien spaceship suddenly materialised above the Whitehouse.  I’m afraid this is looking like hysteria, worst like the west is frightened of Nigeria.

them ‘fraid ‘o we !

Glad the boy’s dad is heading up there to sort things

I beg to differ. People have every right to express their opinion and do not have to speak with one voice. The problem with Nigeria is not because we need to put our differences aside and speak with one voice, but that people try to silence other people when expressing differing views, or they attack the character of the speaker when in disagreement with the dissident.
Absolutely, everybody is entitled to their opinion. But how many years have Nigerians been expressing their opinion everywhere and on this site, and what has that accomplished? We are all expressing opinion while our politicians are robbing us blind. We are expressing our opinions while a whole country is been labeled as terrorist.   We focus on infighting and divisions that the big issues pass us by.

So please tell me how effective it is that we are here  blaming, Muslims, northerners, tribalism and ethnicity. Instead of saying Nigerians are good people and we just have  few rotten tomatoes like any other country. That should be our stance period.

The bible says love thy neighbors like yourself,

The quran says - if he doesn't believe in your faith or insult mohammed, bomb the excreta out of his @$$.

which one would you choose. Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal life.
I guess you have become fox news.  Where in the  quran does it say that, please  tell me the verse. Because it actually says opposite of that.  Am not surprise you haven't even read the quran, like I suspected just talking without knowing what you are talking about.

No am actually Christan, but i do understand tolerance and respect of other people's religion and do not try to impose my beliefs or judge their religion or faith.  Who made you the religious expert and saint. Who are you to judge? who made you god to condemn a whole religion and people?

Because people are tired of muslims claiming their faith is peaceful yet they throw bombs around at kafirs.
So according to you and sweet T , we should get rid of Islam and turn everyone to Christian cause it is the perfect religion. If we do this the world will be a better place.  Because you practice Christianity you are a saint and better than all the Muslims out there.  You are very righteous and we should follow you, cause you are the light and the way. By the way how many times have read the Korean, please tell me you have at least read the book and you know what you are talking about.

A Nigerian just tarnished our names and linked us with terrorism  and people are here discussing religion and tribalism.  Why do we expect respect from anybody else in the world, when we cannot even respect ourselves. We should be talking about the damage this has done to us.

This is the reason why this country will never progress, we are so doomed. Change your names and your nationality now, because there is no hope for Nigeria. This thread is  a perfect example of the reason why.

Right back at you Ahole. You just proved my point about how smart you are. A Nigerian citizen was accused of terrorism and the first thing you could write about was their religion, not about how it will affect us as Nigerians but his religion.

By the way how many wars has Christianity started? Let's not forget the miracle workers in third world countries that use the name of Jesus to dupe poor Nigerians out of life savings, in turn killing helpless people everyday.  According to you the problem with world is Islam, get rid of it and save the world. shut the f up. you are so ignorant.  I hate when people just talk nonsense, like stupid idiots that did not go to school. There is nothing wrong with any religion in this world. The problem is people, human beings that take the word of god and interpret it  to accomplish their agenda. they brainwash and use their followers.
