As a Lt you're entitled to two aides(1 driver and one body guard). In addition to that a paid civilian cook and laundry man(wey go dey starch your khaki) will be assigned to you once you're not in a war zone (North east). Even in the northeast if you serve up to 8 months you'll be entitled to one Benz not less that 3 yrs of production from the year of service in the northeast.
Forget passion and all the people wey dey talk say money no dey army my brother enjoyment one kee!! officers you no see like COAS dey shine? Once you reach Captain you be entitled to fine fine Ashy's from Barbados, Thailand and other Asian countries but the army will only pay an all expense trip for two. This Silent drill na bastard o , I say make I watch just little from the video I didn't know how I ended watching all. I think this is the first time am watching the silent drill at length.

The question is are SSC amongst those cadets doing the silent drill? Because the way I dey take see the silent drill, I see it as something that will take more than 9 months to perfect it. Its a drill that you must learn by heart and mind. The drill no be child play at all.

Can we talk about this above to keep the thread Alive?

My own two cent, if truly u passionate about the military. Recruit form don dey for years!!!!! Then after some years u go back to school. If we are been sincere, most of us get objective, e pass this passion of a thing. Some of us its the pride of wearing a uniform, some to brag, some to toast, some to oppress others e.t c. Its easier said than done, once u enter within 10 years the job for don tire u. If we talking about passion, it is something that has been in us back when we dey little. The major thing is take everything to God, he knows best.

Some guys here think everyone is a fresh graduate and don’t have anything doing that’s why they applying.. there are some guys here who I’m in personal talks with..if dem gree I’ll mention their monikers..doing very well.. person for here Dey collect almost 500k monthly..and we are currently building some apps together at the moment

First thing, nobody would do it for free because we expect returns for work done, but it’s not the major reason why most of the people I know want to enlist.. the army sometimes lives in the poorest of conditions.. take ikeja cantonment for example.. Nepal has cut their light... they only have light for 2 hours everyday for the last 3 months..what’s the use of the money then? It is a call to serve first! Service rendered requires payment.. so it’s not first about the money, because there’s really no money there if we must be honest.. my younger sister that’s a devops engineer earns what a major earns and she’s just 22.

previously I heard sef during Parade say before after parade una dey see alert even sometimes una dey see alert during the parade ground.
Though was just joking with a friend that just pass out on Saturday in say they never see one naria..

Ahhh!! Haven't you hear that that of 2019 was an emergency enlistment that is why they've postponed that of this year to resume in 2 years to compensate for those done in 2018 and 2019.
