1. After induction, will every one go for the fstp training?
2. Where is the training location and whats the duration?
3. After the training will there be postings to different locations?
4.How long does the graduate training last and would salaries increase after that?

Maybe it is just my imagination but I am beginning to have that weird feeling that someone from the tower deliberately comes to NL to read comments and then stalls the APL release just to make our informants and their sources look bad.

At this juncture, I think it would be better for my state of mind if nnpc would come out and openly announce that they have scrapped this recruitment and we should forget about it. Than this endless waiting. SMH

APL will be out SOON as the GMD said.. but before then, let me drop an info I learnt about recently from my HR Source.. it has nothing to do with the release but rather with a very weird method applied in correcting the first list..

She claimed that a first list was submitted sometime in October but it was met with disapproval from Top Guns in government causing the initial delays and rancours.. mostly because it was claimed to favour more of the west and south and not enough of the north... According to her, on that day she informed us that the GMD called a very short emergency meeting after the Quiz Event, it was resolved that the list should be modified after which online documentation should follow..

.. she said they (HR DEPARTMENT) consequently proceeded to remove some names from some states in order to balance it by adding some names in order states.. NOW the weird gist is, CAN u imagine the method they applied in choosing the new names that were added... she said that in order to be fast with the selection and to make it fair, they logged into the dashboards of the candidates with high scores that were not selected before, then they checked the number of times each candidate had logged in since the interview and the regularity with which they logged in and from there, they selected over hundreds of new names based purely on how often they frequented their dashboard. when my boss asked her why,, she said since the candidates in question all had the necessary high score, they couldn't pick all, they needed a particular number and so it was down to luck... and for the method, she said the logic was that those who were continually checking their dashboard showed that they were really interested in the job and were eager to know if their status had changed but those who didn't log in oftenly might not care much bout the job..

mehn, I was shocked dat day.. that is how many of us here would be called by luck.. from dat day, I began to believe more in prayers ... people who were not in the original list, see how Fate turned tins around for their favour...... just with a weird reason of logging in to ur dashboard oftenly.. that's it... we wait.

aswear, they expect the people who got it truly through connect to post APL here. Not possible. When they are not artexeses. Infact once they post it here, i would know it's fake. No true connected person would post it here. As for me, I cant be foolish and think that all these things are not happening. It is definitely happening. It's even almost impossible that it wouldnt happen

My source told me that also and this afternoon when i contacted him, he said the PC that has the typed names ran into some issues and they have submitted a budget of 15M to get it fixed.

Let's just pray they don't lose the files.

@ Bahler: I read that the GMD tactically dodged some guests that had intention of having a one on one discussion with him at the reception of his children's wedding ceremony. Now I know why the current recruitment is shrouded with high level of secrecy!!!

ok, if not agreed my info, try confirm it from Top management. then come here, this is not first time it happened in nnpc, 2012 was cancelled and there was no official press statements , but 4 2019 it is still alive untill February 2020. for final decision.

note: no official statements will be made if cancelled, instead nnpc will place new advert.

I met with several COOs, both present and immediate past, including past GMD Baru....they said, presidency now closely watching Court Rule, to be held in very near future, in a mean time, ad hoc staff are recruited mostly are foreign national until final rule by court.

I may look unsympathetic, but there are some stories that never faze me even when it looks like the subjects of the stories have gone through a lot. The greatest challenge anyone can ever face is health issues, and I mean serious chronic health issues. Anyone saying how he has suffered due to no finance but he still has good health is still in luxury as far as I am concerned. I have been an accident victim that left me in different teaching hospitals in Nigeria and abroad for a combined duration of over 6 months and over 3 years to recuperate, and having done over 10 major surgeries with each taking over 8 hours. Those months, feeding, bathing, taking me to the toilet and cleaning me up was done by my mother. Of course, my girlfriend whom I was supposed to marry ran away. I lost my job that paid me about 200k monthly. Up till this moment, man is still single, because my present hustling is basically a survival job. All my mates are married with kids. I even still have some mild physical deformities I struggle with everyday, and the medical aspect of the NNPC recruitment scares me even if I get APL. But I’m cool, and I have accepted that life cannot always be what we want. During my hospital admission days, I wished I was even an uneducated almajiri person with no degree but with good health. I admired anyone who walked by with his 2 feet and 2 hands, complete and functional. But the funny thing is that while I was on admission, I even saw worse cases in my wards that made my own look like a joke. There was a guy that had 2 legs amputated above the knee, and he pooped on the bed. There was another guy who had his hand about to be amputated and the other hand had serious fractures. A boy had snake bite and got his hand amputated.

All I’m saying is that financial issues only become a thing to deeply worry yourself about when you don’t have a deep understanding of life. That’s why when people come here praying for APL like their whole life depends on it, I laugh! There are other blessings in life you already have that you are taking for granted. On your spare time, take a trip to the A & E of any government hospital. If I had done this before my accident, I wouldn’t have complained about life like I foolishly did that time even with a 200k salary. You don’t have to be like me before you understand life. Take that trip now.

Bro the situation is only in God's hands. If I play my record for you, hmmmmm. Being from a family that is struggling, my parents managed to see me through school. After graduation in 2007 with a 2.1, all hopes were high and everyone was looking up to me because I was the first child of a family of 6.

I have gone for interviews in almost all the companies in Nigeria, Shell, Chevron, Mobil, Total, Saipem etc and nothing still happened.

In 2013, I got a job in a bank. In fact I was given a staff ID and was sent to a training school. But at the end of the training school, three of us were replaced by three people who joined us midway into the training school. Mehn, you needed to see the way I was crying at the bank's headquarters, begging them to reconsider their decision, that I did excellently well during the school. In fact my class mates in the school couldn't believe their eyes that I was dropped, cos I was one of the best, if not the best in the training school, even as an engineering graduate. But I picked myself up and moved on.

Toward the end of 2013, I applied for the Nlng graduate recruitment. I passed the first and second tests as well as the assessment centre. In fact after the assessment centre, regret mails were sent to those who were not successful and I wasn't sent any. In fact the mail I received says that they would get back to me pretty soon. Boy I was so excited. I thought that was the last straw that would break the camel's back. But lo and behold, after about 2years of waiting, they sent invites for medicals. I wasn't sent. The mail they sent me says " though your performance was commendable, however we regret to blah blah blah". That was the worst time of my life. I became so devasted that I refused to eat. In fact I swore that I was not going to serve God again, that he doesn't care about me. It was terrible. How I managed to pick myself after that still baffles me today.

Since then I had become reluctant to apply for jobs. I later got a job in a servicing company but some of us were dropped after some time, cos of the fact that the company lost some of its contracts during the periods of upheavals in the oil and gas industry.

Now I am teaching in a private school, preparing candidates for IELTS, SAT and TOEFL. Yes I make some money but it's hardly enough cos of the responsibilities I have on my shoulders. My parents are aged and my younger ones who are in school are all dependent on me. What is more? I am married with 3 kids.

Sometimes I feel so frustrated to the extent that I feel life is not worth living. All my classmates, when they see me, the don't believe I am still on this level, cos I was always at the top of my class and I this kind of versatile guy who can do well in any discipline.

However, I still believe I will make. I am still struggling to improve on myself. As someone who is knowledgeable in production and well engineering, I have done certifications. And I believe that God will one day pick up my call. I am also an Nnpc hopeful.

So guys, learn from me. If I am still kicking and hopeful, please don't give up. It shall be alright. Although I am still pained at heart that I can't take care of my parents who deprived themselves of comfort just to send me to school. People laughed at them for not wearing good clothes. But I can't care for them the way I should. My heart still weeps bitterly. But I still remain positive anyways.
