Goke7: You're very right on this; that's why they keep dragging the player every time he hangs out with his friends in Lagos. Even an ex-Eagles player was bashing Osihmen on this in a podcast just last week.
One thing I don't understand about Nigerians is this: why hate on what you love? I don't think we have ever had a player like Osimhen who is hated not because of his football but just because of who he is. People no like the guy oo. And the virus is spreading. |

darkelf: I really don't understand why many people are using that opportunity to throw shades at Victor Osimhen- both covertly amd overtly all over twitter
I have read more than 20 twitter posts condemning Osimhen. That guy is patroitc no matter his temperament and doesn't deserve all these
I just hope all this funny tweets don't drive a wedge between Victor and Lookman This is precisely what I noticed. It's horrible what our people do. They do not love Lookman. They simply don't like Osimhen because he has a circle of friends that does include them. So they use Lookman to poke him. With Oliseh adding fuel to this stupid narrative, we may never look with clean eyes at games involving Osimhen and Lookman. That's why I was livid with Oliseh. It is one thing to criticize a player but once you start knocking one player against the other, your intention is to destroy the team. It's really unfortunate. |

Papi85: e dey irritate me die
God just heard my prayers on Mola’s failed move to Fener. I don’t rate Turkish football at all no matter how we try to sugarcoat it here just because of Osimhen
I don’t see it as a league for bright talents and talents in their prime rather a league for fading talents and talents fresh out of Africa which can be used as a step to better leagues But don't you think that just as the fortune of clubs ebbs and flows, so also leagues? When I started watching the English premiership, Chelsea was a mid table club with players like Zola, Andre Flo, Vialli etc until Abrahamovich poured money into Chelsea and it became a force to be reckoned with. Look at Man U today. Who would believe that for over ten years, Man U would go trophyless? The same thing can be said about leagues. In the 90's the Italian league was supreme. It's still good today but not like it's hey days. While we all prefer Osimhen to play in the big leagues, the Turkish league can grow and become big. |

charlesemeka85: no be Una dey hail Osimhen when him move to the same Turkey last season
The same move that made Galatasaray look like Real Madrid in this same thread 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
League wey Osimhen dey use chest collect ball from opponent head then flash am into post like say keeper no dey 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But he did those things as in chest control in Italy na against no less a team as Mourinho's Roma and against Chris Smalling a seasoned defender. He did it against Calgiari where he did keepy ups using his chest, his head, his laps before providing an assist to Kvaraskelia. Meanwhile Italy is famed for its defensive football expressed in the Catenaccio philosophy. Osimhen is just good with chest and head ball control. |

Amedino99: i expect all african teams to make the next round of this world cup. Even though some time last year, i analysed that some countries may not make the next round of the world cup. that analysis was done when i didn't take into consideration that the expanded world cup will also include more qualifying rounds to the final. After the group stage you have the 1/16,1/8,1/4, semi final and final stage. It will be criminal if any african country fails to make atleast the 1/16 stage. Im expecting in a worst case scenario atleast 8 out of the possible 10 african countries to make the next tound. If not let FIFA reduce our slot, we dont deserve those many slots . I've always had bad belly towards all African teams. Only naija I pray for. I don't know why I am like that oo. Just like I can never support Brazil at the world cup even though I like Brazilian players. |

AAA593: If DRC law does not recognize dual citizenship, then any player who still legally holds another nationality may NOT be a Congolese national under DRC law and FIFA eligibility depends on valid nationality under national law.
I don't know your problem with Nigeria. FIFA has acted on nationality law conflicts before. Court of Arbitration for Sport have ruled in past cases that national law overrides football convenience. If nationality is invalid or improperly acquired then the player is ineligible, matches can be forfeited even years later
This isn’t about sentiment. FIFA eligibility depends on valid nationality under national law. If DRC law does not recognize dual citizenship, then players who still hold and use foreign nationality may not legally be Congolese at all. That’s not opinion it’s FIFA Article 5. Nigeria is right to ask FIFA to examine the legality.”
But saying “NFF has no case” is simply false. There is clearly a legal basis worth examining. You so dismissing this as “no case” is either ignorance or bad faith. He deliberately skips the point about the dual nationality rule of the DRC. Instead he keeps making the point about the issuance of passport. |

ChrisKels: What was his reason for opting out, and was his reason justifiable, those are the necessary questions.
Okoye; Coachee thanks for naming me in the AFCON list, eventhough I have been inactive for long.
Coachee; No reason am my boy, we dey together.
Okoye; But coachee no vex oo; based on how my situation take dey now as person wey dun dey inactive for long, I hope say you go give me enough game time to bounce back to form?
Coachee; Hmmm I can't guarantee you that my boy because your senior bro remains the undisputed number 1
Okoye; Thanks for your sincerity Coachee, but please reason with me; e go really affect my form and the team too at the long run if I remain out of form for being away from action for too long(ban/inactive through the AFCON period). I think I will be more useful to the team when in form than when out of form.
Coachee: How you mean my boy
Okoye: Wetin I mean be say; e no go better make I use my club side gain form since my senior bro go cover the AFCON post, so that tomorrow, our team go parade two inform goalkeepers? That will also create an opportunity for Uzoho or any other option to re-anchor and make our team even more stronger after the AFCON. How you see am Coachee?
Coachee: E go hard oo, but you make sense, oya go your club go get your form back since I already have enough cover, but mind you, I go hijack you come Morocco if the injury to your senior brother relapses.
Okoye: Thanks for your understanding boss, I will be expecting your call during the course of the AFCON if my services are needed as you said. It is all for the good of our team at the long run.
Na the summary be this. E no touch anywhere.
Our best 3 are Nwabali, Okoye and Uzoho for now. 😂😂😂 You have good imagination but game time is different from demanding to be made number 1. He was told that if he wants to be number 1, he should fight for it. Na im he decide to stay back at Udinese. We no gree, him ma no gree. Everybody live the consequences of their choices. |

Nwabali is the undisputed #1 anyday, Maduka is also a good goalkeeper and a reliable backup anyday. I no know why dem dey do like say he useless. He's not useless but how can a player demand that he should be made number 1 unconditionally. No be useless demand be that? |

U c dt number 1 question ,I am sure is what is giving FIFA HEADACHE,like I said in my previous post any judgement dt Favor’s DR CONGO Will be exploited by other countries in d future, making reference to the judgement Precisely. It would have been unreasonable for Congo to not field those players when no decision has been made holding them liable. |
