I find it hard to listen to Mikel. Whether it's the fake accent oo, or his lack of eloquence, I can't really say. Of our former players, Eguavoen and Odegbami are the most eloquent. |

COOL10: On Wednesday, the 'man demma call' Cyriel Dessers scored his 19th and 20th goals of the season. He has now scored 20 goals or more in back to back seasons.
What a player!!! 👏💥😎 When he's invited now, he will see goalpost and begin shiver. It will be as if his legs are made of akpu. I don't like when a player is blistering for club and cannot at least give us a good game in the SE. Nobody says you must score. Perform well, make your mark, make us feel your presence. |

One thing I'd say about Afcon is that the thing hard to win. Okocha said that when they won their first Afcon they thought they were going to win it many times. Well, their first was their last.
And last year's Afcon was exhilarating - the quality of football, the atmosphere, the social media vibe - it was a total package even more exciting than the last Euros. The last Euro no sweet like the 2021 version. I pray Afcon continues to be more colorful |

charlesemeka85: I have faith in the coach and will only advise the nff to retain him even if he fails to qualify for the WC though team performance during the remain WCQ will be the determinant factor
He is a young coach with modern ideas who I believe will do well with the quality of players we have if supported and given enough time to build a team I too support not sacking him if he fails. We are always looking for quick results and this makes us impatient. |

semid4lyfe: I've said it repeatedly that Ekong is a potential super eagles coach.
I hope he gets his badges and goes into coaching when he hangs his boots.
I want to do away with the '94 set of coaches so bad, and I think Ekong is showing the brightest potential amongst this set. Obviously. He fits the bill. |

Goke7: This is not true, the epl was on side by side with Afcon this year and still Afcon was trending in the uk. You’re still living in the past.
With the way European clubs now publicly celebrates their players return from Afcon, that’s shows a significant shift from how the competition is now viewed. Even cynics like caragher can’t change that perspective for the clubs. The last Afcon was sweet sha. It was really giddy |

codemaniacs: Middle belt maybe but Northern Nigeria can never be profitable..
the bri:tish could not make northern Nigeria profitable, is it un-educated and ter:rorists loving northern nigerians that will now make it profitable.
north has been un-profitable that's why the Br:itish joined north and south Nigeria together in 1914 because the north always had deficit balance of trade.
if the private sector controls things then it will lead to inflation like we are experiencing right now.. that was why I mentioned the expensive school built by foreigners..
there are people in Nigeria who want to make sure Nigerians cannot afford to buy anything by increasing the prices of basic things that we even produce here in Nigeria and this happens with the help of Nigerian politicians..
you're are too positive for your own liking... I don't blame you for this patently ignorant talk. I blame northern leaders. |

codemaniacs: Its good that you have a positive outlook..
But the corrupt elites can never ever fade away because they are funded by whyte people.
You can say that for other parts of Africa but for west Africa and other black majority countries in Africa it is terrorism, wars, inflation that you will see in west Africa.
Since Nigeria has a weak currency then building our leagues is a pipe dream unless FG or a private firm can give the league winners the naira equivalent $20m and others get compensated between $1m and $10m based on their final league position then another compensation before the start of a new season.
West Africa is built to self destruct. Black man has no agency. The white man is his god! |

TheGoodJoe: That is why I asked if you watched the game. You didn't and can't understand the brilliance of our first half play. How we controlled and dominated Real Madrid in the middle. If you did, you won't make that statement. Just agree that the twilight of tiki taka has come. |

TheGoodJoe: Injuries. With Grealish getting injured, followed by Akanji and then Ake, our game got disrupted. With John Stones dominating midfield and playing the best game of his life, we had to take him off that position.
That weakened our play and system. It all fell apart when we had to change game plan to accommodate the changes.
I am still critical of Pep for not bringing in Kushanov and leaving John Stones as the defensive pivot.
Either way, it was injuries that scattered it. Them win una abi dem no win una 😂😂😂. Tiki taka don kpai |
