He may have agreed to take her for better and for worse, but for one Algerian groom, seeing his new wife without make-up was a step too far. The husband was so shocked after seeing his bride's face the morning after their wedding that he failed to even recognise her. He even accused her of being a thief that had broken into his house. After realising it was in fact the woman he had married only yesterday, he decided to take her to court - accusing her inflicting 'psychological suffering' by 'cheating' him with her make-up. The groom is now seeking $20,000 (£13,000) damages. Newspapers in the North African Arab country said the groom swore in court that he even mistook his wife for a 'thief who came to steal his apartment', Emirates 24/7 reports. 'He said he was deceived by her as she used to fill up her face with make up before their marriage,' the papers said, quoting a court source. 'He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before marriage, but when he woke up in the morning and found that she had washed the make-up off her face, he was frightened as he thought she was a thief. wisefizz:its either u are a liar or an ignorant, the former is more likely cos when u used ''them'', u were not inclusive in ur bigoted and prejudiced thought. A muslim that knows what islam is about would never say there is light in christianity. If there is light there why u be muslim then. |
Buh fasting did not commence until thursday and not tuesday NB no muslim in the world was fasting on tuesday(its like an abormination). So If u must, punish her for lying to you and or against islam. Don't punish her for being weak during fasting. To those telling us how easy islamic fast is, it is not ur headache. Complexity of islam lies in its simplicity. To u is ur religion and to me is mine. |

Oh, yeah finally. The Biafra republic is granted. Would there be a call like that of Ojukwu for igbo people in other regions to return home? What happens to the Igbo people and their multimillion assets/investment in other regions. I think there is a misconception here. The truth is that all Biafrans are igbos buh all igbos are not biafrans. So to the Deluded biafrans, the reality is that u aint going no where even if nigeria concede to ur demands. The igbos who don't share ur sour self defeating struggles won't agree. Good day. |
