tennyalad: Yes, it is possible to sort it out before arrival but both landlords and agencies ask for deposit so you won't be able to avoid paying it.
If you are looking to sort it out while in Nigeria, it's better to go through a reputable agency just to be on the safe side.
On the other hand, maybe you should consider, Airbnb or B&B for a few days post arrival then go look at the properties before making payment. You can book viewings and all that the week/few days before arrival.
Thanks so helpful. Airbnb is auiet expensive cos i will have to book for 3weeks, Quarantäne for 2weeks, dem flat search a week. |

chrisj2: Has anyone done a private (non-NHS) covid test for travelling to Nja in Manchester recently? I need advice on a good clinic and the turnaround time for the test results?
Alternatively, can anyone help with the process of travelling to nja; it just seems a nightmare getting the test, booking flights and then another test and returning to the UK.
Any info will be much appreciated. Ta |

Hi FAM, please i need your input. I Plan on moving to bournemouth in December,
Is it possible to rent a flat while still in Nigeria?
Can i get a landlord private property instead of an agent, the deposit is killing?
Your response will be highly appreciated |

Limahgirl: Izit me dat wrote this ni...lol! Mama, your story is exactly what I'm facing. My DD who has been taking feeding bottle right from birth refused it when she was two months. There is nothing I didn't do. Infact...for where, she will start screaming as if she fell, infact, she will start the crying immediately you put bib on her...lol. Well I had to stop and concluded that when I resume I will know how I will be doing it. Then I researched on it and found a piece on google where a mama wrote that her son accept the bottle while in a car seat or rocker so I tried it out and it worked. While in the rocker or car seat, I will be playing music and feed her and she will be gulping it. So it gave me rest of mind that when I resumes, she will take it. This is because they perceive odour of breast from you,so if you are the one holding her, she will prefer to suck from you than bottle. My baby will even be turning her mouth towards breast whenever I wants to feed her with bottle. I guess this is why they still take it while in a car seat or rocker since they won't perceive the odour. You can also try to make her suck the bottle from someone else and see. Hope this helps! Chai, the Story of my life. DS is 6months+ and refuse all the cereal and milk Type i gave, just doesn't want bottles. He wnt even open mouth . Let me go and carry car seat and try ur Method i hope it work. My breast is tired sef. |

Beebaby88: I have come to share my testimony. I said I will testify too..its been such a long journey but God is ever faithful. Biometrics and interview 26th August. Non straight forward mail 14th sept. Got another mail on the 15th saying they will call me for another interview on the 16th sept. Interview lasted 53mins plus. Like a week after the interview I didnt hear from them, my friend who introduced me to this thread Bukie asked me to send them a mail. 24th sept I sent a mail and they responded that I told them I have study leave from work i should show evidence and i mentioned my dad is my sponsor but the money is my account i should show evidence of how he accrued the funds. That threw me off.. my friend Bukie brought the case here and we took the advice of showing landed property since the money didnt come directly from popsi.. I submitted the deed of assignment,my bank statement of march because that is how long the money has been in my account and all my work documents and popsi' details on the 24th of sept. They gave me 2 working days which was friday and monday so I submitted all on 28th sept and another long wait. On monday Bukie said babe call these people someone on nairaland has the same time line with you. So I sent a mail and they said a decision has been made. Tuesday morning TLs sent a mail. I started tracking.. I lost sleep..yesterday she called me I should just go to DHL office and close work with them. We were all nervous I got to DHL just about the time the delivery guy came in from Port Harcourt..got my parcel.. I couldnt wait to see the inside.. Visa granted since 03 oct.. God be praised I declared my visa refusal of 2018 and felt that was the reason I was been questioned because of the amount of money in that account when I was refused. Thanks to everyone on here and especially to Bukie. See you all at the top.. Congratulations |

Stmema: Good evening honorable members.... I'm back again o... I'm team February for now... Cappo kindly register me... Feb 26th...biko welcome me... I saw blood last night though, went this morning n baby is fine.. All is well... Dont know what I can do to ensure It doesn't happen again... I have a nursing 9month old who I plan to wean at 10 months... Could that be why? Or could it be the coflin syrup I took? Like I'm just wondering n worrying... What can I use to treat cough then so my baby doesn't have it? I'm already showing so I'm using girdle cos of world pipo in my office... Could that also be the reason... Pls don't judge me, u won't understsnd... I'm patiently waiting for some sort of response n solace here... I understand the girdle part perfectly as I have been using it since I had my first daughter 2years back and now I am #team march....
Not an easy one to suddenly appear with a big tummy at work though. So I chose to go on my annual leave with the plan to return without a girdle. (The answer is, I am expecting)
Please find a way to stay away from it expecially from 12weeks.
