Oh thanks, can’t one get more than that? Also, can you give me the list of schools that offers the course and discount. Because I would love to apply soonest against January. Thanks. waynee2baba: Lol not like it's wrong to use the word funding o... what I was tryna say is that... most UK Unis don't give you generous funding compared to US Unis. You're likely to only get tuition discounts ranging from £1.5k to £3k max from most UK Universities. |

I never knew, I meant discount. Thanks waynee2baba: Hmmm we don't use the word "funding" on this thread. Perhaps you meant "discount" ? If you really meant funding, wrong thread my guy... check US thread. |

Did you provide all the required documents? Because if not it will show not complete GracefulG: Good day everyone. I'm new to this forum . I Please is there anyone here who applied to memorial university for fall semester 2020? I did, about 2 weeks ago and I submitted all required documents for MSC program ( transcript , 2 appraisal letters and bsc certificate) I made sure my school forwarded the documents to their email but since then I have been checking my application status and it states there under the received box ; the dates when the appraisal letters were received but the other requirements no dates stated. I dont know how to really explain the page on here but it just summarises that application is incomplete until all documents are received . Now I am a bit worried, I am not sure I should do something or just wait . I already contacted my school to resend the documents and they did but still the page is the Same. Please i'ld really love to get suggestions or someone else's expeience thanks |

I wrote IELTS last year but my score was 6.0 overal. Is it sufficient to secure an admission with funding? Cocao: You are looking for full funding yet you don't want to write any standardized exam. At least make an effort na. You don't even want to make any effort to differentiate yourself from other candidates.
All I can say is good morning. |

How do you intend tackling those point? senoritzy: I think you are also not completely right Mr Linzo, nowadays financial commitment goes beyond ur sponsor writing letter, l will use my application as a case study, l have 2 sponsors, relative and non relative and both had enough money in the account to sponsor 4 people sef, they both wrote declaration of the specific amount to sponsor me with, these sponsors are real not fake yet l was refused based on financial grounds below. I even have a personal savings of 2M,Pension 2.5M.
Pursuant to paragraph 220(a) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue. • Pursuant to paragraph 220(b) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study. • Pursuant to paragraph 220(c) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the cost of transporting yourself and any family members who are accompanying you to and from Canada.
So financial goes beyond wat both of u said, especially if ur sponsor is not u or ur parents l guess, the VOs judge our application based on wat Nigerians are doing there.
Now l am trying to figure out how to tackle this, please any suggestion.
And l have decided to have an open mind towards my application, it's not a do or die affair because we are not God and we can't read their minds, we can only study them 90%, the remaining 10% is theirs and that 10% is enough to deny u visa, may God increase us in wisdom, knowledge and understanding, Amen. |
