Omo, I don't know about lifestyle affecting, because person wey I know wey dey approach 70 and has never had kidney issues didn't do any of this aside the water at best. And I know three other proper drinkers that are 50+ and do none of this, yet, no kidney issues.

However, the three people I have known with kidney failure, two women and a man, only the man actually had a drinking problem. Salt can affect kidneys too, not just alcohol I guess.

I am just talking based on my personal experience, I don't know about others.

Not only salt and alcohol, even all these herbs and manpower etc......All those ones that want to stay on top of a woman for one week claiming okpa, beans and not indomie.... I pity their kidney...
