WIKE's connect in the judiciary is tight. I believe the wife is an appeal court Judge, then Peter Odili's wife a Supreme Court Judge.

This Rivers APC issue was not instituted or caused by PDP/Wike. It is Amaechi and his fallout with Magnus Abe that resulted in this. APC flouted high court orders and that was not engineered by Wike in any way. PDP just happens to be the convenient recipient of this judgment.

Meanwhile Wike's wife is a Rivers State High Court judge.

Non-interference? Fair? With the blatant attack against the CJN and his illegal 'suspension'? That is the worst form of interference but the judiciary stood its ground! Why do u think the Court of Appeal already granted that questionable stay of execution of judgment even when the Supreme Court in a judgment last year had pronounced the correctness and propriety of the ruling of the state high court?

A Kaduna State High Court on Friday issued a warrant of arrest against the Chairman of Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, for contempt.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Justice Mario Mohammed after the chairman had ignored several summons by the court in a suit between Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufa’i and Today’s publishing Company Limited, and one other.

A warrant form obtained directed that police personnel and authorities should arrest the CCB Chairman and produce him before the court on February 13, 2019.

Earlier, Today Publishing company, the publisher of The Union Newspapers had filed application requesting the court to subpoena CCB Chairman to produce assets declaration of El-Rufai in court after several failed efforts it made to obtain it from the CCB.

Justice Mohammed granted the approval based on the application filed by Counsel to The Union Newspapers, Mr J.N. Egwuonwu (SAN), during the continuation of defence at a previous sitting.

Egwuonwu represented by Hiifan Andrew Abuul had written an application to the court to subpoena CCB to tender the asset declaration of the Governor before the court.

But the OP also says APC can't field any candidates in Rivers.

So much contradiction. Fake news!

There is a Court of Appeal ruling upholding the judgment of the Rivers High Court which barred all APC candidates in Rivers. That is different from another Court of Appeal Judgment staying the execution of the decision of the high court. The Supreme Court has by its judgment quashed every other ruling/judgment allowing APC to field any candidate in Rivers state.

However, today's judgment by the Supreme Court overrides that temporary reprieve/stay of execution by the Court of Appeal.

The Supreme Court has upheld the Court of Appeal judgment upholding the judgment of Justice Chinwendu Nwogu of the High Court of Rivers State which stayed all primaries conducted by the All Progressives Congress in the state.

Wike is not responsible for this! It was APC factions suing themselves and refusing to obey simple court orders. The lizard of Ubima thought himself a croc and took on more than he could handle! Why flout the order of a high court and conduct primaries then turn around to benefit from their illegal actions and deliberate disobedience of court orders? Is it Wike that told them to act the way they did? Or is he the one that took them to court?

There will be no crises and in fact for the first time since APC came into existence, there will be peaceful elections in Rivers state without bloodshed. Why are u not predicting crises in Zamfara? Is it not the same situation of APC being barred by the Courts from fielding any candidates at all levels? Stop the yeye deceit please!

This judgment is God protecting the good people of Rivers State, they have suffered enough!
