What order was given for INEC to obey an postpone elections? This is why it is necessary to separate the Office of the Attorney General from that of Minister/Commissioner for Justice so that the AG can maintain neutrality at all times while the Minister/Commissioner remains the politician that he is.

Must this demonic party always record violence and deaths at their campaign rallies? Is someone using the blood of citizens to renew his old, sickly body?

How come you didn't think the judgment a consolatory one when u were still feeling the 'APC will get today's own'? You were even sure APC would get a late, favorable judgment because according to you, the Supreme Court had been taken care of...

In this case no external party caused any problems for the other. The issues were strictly between Amaechi and Magnus, both APC members. They finally brought themselves to this for refusing to obey simple court orders.

If you ask me, the courts banning political parties from fielding candidates in our elections will hurt our democracy in the long run. Even though Amaechi and Magnus Abe share huge blames.

Going forward, all Party A has to do is to find ways to create factional crisis in Party B and wait for the courts to ban them from contesting.

This is a clear proof that pmb does not interfere with judicial processes such which can never happen during the administration of PDP led government.

The Supreme Court could not have done anything or held any position other than this because as far back as October 2018, it had already given an earlier judgment upholding that of the High Court which barred APC from conducting primaries in Rives State. No new facts have emerged so there would have been no reason for the court to reverse itself in any manner. They tried very hard to interfere with these Onnoghen and Tanko drama but the institutions of the Judiciary and Supreme Court supersede the political rascality of the Executive and must be upheld.

Are these APC guys so dumb. So long as Odili's wife remains a justice of the Supreme Court and so long as Wike's wife remains a High Court Judge, any litigation brought by APC to the Supreme Court from Rivers is dead on arrival.
We have a very corrupt Judiciary and its easier for judges to be approached for "twisting of judgement" by fellow Justices. Now in this case Wike has both the negotiator (his wife) and the money to followup any negotiation.
You will only understand when you observe that Wike's allies win their cases once it gets to the supreme court. You will see more of these after the general elections.
