DaddyJapan:Can you compare the value and quality of life between Nigeria and thise countries (UAE and Quatar)? When have you heard that the Police in Dubai entered a business place and destroyed alcohol worth millions? This is what is obtainable in core Northen, Muslim areas of Nigeria like Kano. Who wants such madness across Nigeria? When have we heard that police in those countries went around cutting people's hair because their hairstyles are not religiously correct like Hisbah has done in Nigeria? Religious intolerance is a major problem and should never become nationally entrenched! It is bad enough that we have Shariah in some places and this is one major ŕeason why muslim-muslim presidency is potentially criminal! |
But when Peter Obi says same thing, idiots who cannot see farther than their smelly noses spin it to an allegation of biogotry which of course is dead on arrival. Soon, they will be reminded of how they have the highest number of out-of-school children in the world and they will start screaming like mad pigs. They forget that the so-called educational disadvantage is why they can score 4 or 6 to be admitted to unity schools while the Anambra child for instance must score a minimum of 140 or 160 out of 200 points! |
Goodlady:Wheredid you read or see Obi make this statement? Why do you people like to peddle falsehood? |
inoki247:There are many roads to any one destination. One mustn't use only that you expect. The law provides non-qualification of a candidate, where successfully proven, as one of the grounds for an election petition. If a petitioner feels he can prove it, why should he not use it? Is the eligibility of a candidate not an integral part of any electoral process? Or do you want to delete that part of the Electoral Act? |
Festus Keyamo! You're just a turd and you'd rather be arrested shortly. Silly thing! |
akingangan:Go and advise him na. Is it not INEC and APC that advised aggrieved parties to go to court if they're not happy with the results? |
inoki247:The issues are more than just Tinubu's eligibility. Read up all the grounds for the petition before you run away with one line. That PO said he'll challenge the process does mot preclude questioning a candidate's eligibility or otherwise. It is also a flawed process that a candidate who might not be eligible to contest elections was allowed and it is INEC's responsibility to ensure that only qualified candidates are allowed to participate in elections. |
Dentidon:Money investment? How can investment become a crime for which to forfeit funds? Abeg explain the money investment clearly. |
Dentidon:Eskiss sir, the matter is actually in court, dem no hide mouth talk am. Where you wan sue am go again sir? |
JoshTim:1. How many of your people have lived long and responsibly enough in any Eastern state to even aspire to run for an elective office? Do you expect the East to come offer a yoruba or hausa person a ticket to contest elections just because? 2. There is currently a Chinaza Abiola on the Labour party ticket for House of Assembly in Abia state. Is it that you've not seen it or you're just wilfully ignorant? 3. Do you feel or think that it is only non-indigenes that would have voted him in as HOR member in Lagos? Shun tribalism and rest! |
Sirjamo:You're the real definition of madness right now! Common smell away you silly urchin defending clear incapacity and senility on the altar of religious and ethnic bigotry! |
Sirjamo:When you stand still why do you need any other position? You are actually defending someone who was a former governor and aspires to be the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces who doesn't know the importance of the National Anthem and pledge and so takes any posture he likes? Do you not realise that standing erect and still during the recital of the National anthem and pledge is one of the most basic demonstrations of patriotism? Have you seen anywhere in the world and in Nigeria even where a citizen absent-mindedly raises his 2 arms with a walking stick while the anthem and pledge of any country is sung if not for this your bala blu master? So you will applaud this nonsense on an international stage just because you support a senile candidate? God forbid! |
Sirjamo:Is this some form of madness or stupidity |
eagleu:Call am goat, ewu or eran, simple. ![]() |
Image123:It is 100% wrong for as long as the candidate they support refuses to face the Nigerian public or the press and answer questions from other people. They hide their infirm principal then come to interrogate another for what? Even when the bulaba comes out it is to delegate te responsibility of responding to questions that what happened? Nonsense! |
Ok na. And PDP that is supposed to be the main opposition party couldn't seize the opportunity to demand investigation or resignation of Tinubu over his criminal involvement in drugs, forfeiture of cash to the US Government, obvious perjury in INEC submissions and total absence of a background before he appeared in the US? Make dem just dey play... E reach Atiku SPV matters, APC real opposition capacity don show sharply |
ERockson:Did P-Square insult or denigrate the Yoruba tribe in any way? All the time Brymo was calling Tinubu City Boy, did anyone bother with his insignificant self? Why would he insult an entire tribe because of politics? Learn to be objective |
Those of you faceless bigots ranting stupidly here should go to the site and look up the names of those who have signed the petition. More than half are non-Igbos and quite a large number are Yoruba. In fact the person that started the petition is Yoruba. There are sane persons in this country unlike useless fools like some of you here encourag8ng deliberate criminal conduct! |
OsunOriginal:She has been fully acquitted by the court! Did you lament about forgiveness/pardon of corruption when Buhari granted full Presidential pardon to Joshua Dariye and former governor of Taraba state? People that were actually found guilty and convicted? Better rest that hypocrisy in you. |
As they like to ask PO about IPOB or any issue of insecurity in the East, what exactly is Atiku doing about these issues of terrorism in the North? Is this how he wants to become president? The APC flag bearer is also clearly incompetent since he cannot do anything about insecurity in the whole of Nigeria despite his party being the ruling party! |
baralatie:There are statutory provisions guiding the conduct and activities of elected officials including governors which transcend internal political party rules. If I understand correctly, PDP is raising the issue that Mai Bala Buni as a sitting/serving governor is statutorily and constitutionally barred from holding any other office yet he served as APC national chairman. Based on that alleged illegality, PDP arguing that every action he took should be declared illegal and unconstitutional. |
babaolofin: Ireportlive:All is fair in love and war. Dead that talk! |
I didn't even see your comment before I posted mine. Those dirty supporters are just so nauseating in their reasoning! And they must always blame the common Nigerians who are already beaten and barely surviving! Vote4Obi: |
michlins:Thank you! The bold part is just the point! Same idiots that asked if N216 to $1 is good are the ones suddenly blaming Nigerians for taste in foreign goods and implying that N800 + to the same $1 makes sense! |
DeLaRue:For some reason, some of you are bent in ignoring the big, destructive elephant in the room while chasing after rodents! The Nigerian Federal government is the largest, single importer of petrol and other refined products of crude oil and these imports are denominated in USD! While it seems quaint or politically correct to castigate those who want luxury gadgets and items like phones, clothes, etc; the government has consistently and deliberately failed to plug this major hole! The same government orders vehicles in 10s and 100s from Toyota, Mercedes etc for its officials using the same scarce dollars. All their wards and dependants study abroad with access to the scarce USD yet you only want to accuse Nigerians of having foreign tastes. Where is the effort of the government to support and patronise home grown car manufacturers for instance? What is the effort towards making our higher institutions viable, attractive and competitive enough for their own children? Let's not talk about health tourism by the same government officials! Buhari, Tinubu and co are wholly sponsored by government funds for their almost monthly health checks abroad! Manufacturers still have to import some raw materials; with the inability of the government to maintain a healthy availability of forex at strong, competitive rates they are forced to the black market. What does that then translate to? Do the maths! |
Ah! This analysis ehn! So 'objective'! OP thank you for your 'selfless' thoughts and reports of your 'research'. Some people are just amazing, so concerned about Peter Obi...Well done |
festacman:Were those that participated in the EndSARS protests members of opposition parties? Were the protests remotely political? Did you not see how Sowore was chased off when he tried to taint the process with his presence? Why are some of you bent on viewing issues through your very warped political lens? It is an uncivilised, undemocratic, even criminal government that will not allow citizens to peacefully protest and register their displeasure with the government. When APC including Buhari, Fashola and Co protested during Jonathan's tenure who forcefully disrupted them? Was anyone arrested or injured? It takes a despot like Buhari and like-minded supporters like you to see citizens as enemies and constantly try to undermine their legitimate rights to hold the government accountable without any decent attempt to address issues raised. Igbos hold memorial of the Biafran war, you kill them. Shiites protest, you release the Army directly against unarmed citizens. Young people protests against police brutality, you order their execution by the Army! Are you not ashamed? Have you no conscience? Tueh! |
NgeneUkwenu:Sha! Why should people be forced to participate in a political rally and have their sources of income threatened with being shut down? Why should the sum of 5k be demanded and extorted from them just because they chose not to march for Tinubu? |
KillSars:Hello! Did you not see right there that 'very bad' and 'bad' are synonyms and can actually be used interchangeably? Or you're saying you'd rather eat bad food than rotten food? Na una type dey prefer to kill themselves than to commit suicide! Tueh!! Go look up synonyms of rotten and you'd see the word 'bad' right there! It's not every rubbish you defend; reevaluate your political support or sit this one out but please stop this dead, unintelligent effort at supporting an obvious, very significant, mental lapse!
|
thebosstrevor1:You really wish Peter Obi was a poor, desperate politician don't you? So you can claim that he's coming to plunder and steal like your APC politicians right? It will not work o! Take your L on this matter in peace. |
thebosstrevor1:I think you are guilty of the rubbish you supported and still support and don't know how to retrace your steps that is why you are projecting. You have been in support of Buhari/APC. Buhari is the classic example of the fraudulent misrepresentation you are trying hard to foist on PO and of course, failing spectacularly. Shebi you people support the greatest con man that claimed not to have money for nomination form and only a few barren cattle to his name? Fear not, PO is not like that. He is very comfortable and confident of his capacity. He isn't coming to kill, steal and destroy like Buhari and APC agents you are currently supporting including Tinubu. You're talking of Zuckerberg's house, did anyone tell you PO lives like a church rat just to supposedly deceive Nigerians? Did you not see where I wrote that he owns his own house in the UK and even here in Nigeria? |
thebosstrevor1:Peter Obi has always been a simple, understated person. For all you know, he may have over a dozen pairs of this attire/shoes and he changes into them as he needs to. Why are you so concerned about his appearance? Must he carry loudspeaker to announce his wealth? Are all his donations and support to educational institutions across the length and breadth of this country as a private citizen not already evidence of his status? Is the fact that he already owned his house in the UK long before becoming governor not a clear sign that he is very financially comfortable? Has he hidden or denied this? Where is the deceit? It is you and your kind that generally accuse Igbos of being loud and ostentatious. Now, you see someone who is wealthy yet consistently simple, you are bellyaching. What is the problem really? I am sure you have at some point admired Mark Zuckerberg for his simplicity with his gray tshirts and jeans despite his status as a billionaire in dollars! Why is Peter Obi suddenly being held to a different standard in your books? Has PO ever claimed poverty or said he can't afford something except what he considers wasteful? He is on record to have even boldly said he is worth more than the US President after he (Joe Biden) declared his assets which is why he (PO) is coming to serve and judiciously use public funds for the benefit of all Nigerians. I ask again, what is your problem? What is wrong with his being wealthy? Why are you triggered by the person of Peter Obi? |
