OP! Next time police comes on a raid in ur area or wherever u happen to be at any time, don't run or attempt to evade arrest. Just go along, get arrested and suffer the ignominy of harsh, unlawful arrest where you'll be forced to part with ur hard earned funds just to secure your release despite ur possible innocence. Hopefully they don't frame u for arned robbery and eliminate u!

A person's individual attributes matter a lot to voters in these places rather than voting a party with a terrible candidate just because you hate buhari or because "dilector kanu" said so.

Tell your south east folks to sit down quietly and learn from the elections in Oyo, Kwara, Kano, Bauchi states.

It's not all about bragging and emotionalism.

Notwithstanding whatever figures are announced at the end of this 'democratic' exercise called elections in Nigeria, it will be clear to all that this is about the worst election ever in the history of Nigeria since the return to civilian rule in 1999.

The reports of violence and sheer lawlessness with apparent executive approval is one that beats the imagination and makes sane citizens wonder whether we are moving forward or regressing backwards into the annals of beastly animalism! Even the usually peaceful Eastern and Western states have recorded unusual violence and deaths just because some desperate vagabonds refuse to be law abiding.

The blame for this sham of elections lies squarely at the feet of the APC and Mr President. Is this his version of peaceful, free and fair elections? If this was the kind of electoral environment provided in 2015 would he have been President? His refusal to sign the amended Electoral Act into law set the pace for the bloodshed which has crisscrossed the nooks and crannies of this geographical expression. The hitherto smouldering embers of ethnic/tribal/religious bigotry have been fanned into wild fires under his watch and to what end? The same party that secured a valid court injunction against the deployment of the military into or during elections has recklessly breached the orders of the court by unleashing the same Army on civilians during these elections. It is obvious the Army had a specific assignment and it is certainly not to ensure peaceful and fair elections.

It would appear that sane, unsuspecting Nigerians missed the underlying message behind his orders to security agencies against supposed snatchers of ballot boxes. Apparently, the correct interpretation is for these agencies ie the Army and Police to provide cover and even actively engage in the box snatching themselves in favor of the ruling party. Wither the so called integrity?

Zoo and shithole do not do justice to what this large space of madness actually is. They are mere euphemisms.

OP! Don't keep exposing your ignorance. Igbos have been consistent in rejecting Buhari simply because of what they see and know that he represents. Anyone attached to him cannot redeem him in the eyes of the Igbo. If they rejected him even when he contested with their sons in previous years and rather voted for a Yoruba son called Obasanjo, is there any redemptive trait or character he has suddenly developed now that will make the Igbo support/accept him?
