Can someone kindly recommend a durable, long-lasting battery, bluetooth earphones. I had my eyes on Anker but the price has gone up recently.

I showed the woman in charge my national ID card, the woman thought it's ATM card grin. I blame FG.

The national ID card is actually acceptable. Ask to speak with her boss or contact Nipost online. (Twitter handle @NIPOSTNIG)

Pls if your ntel reception isn't strong enough... will buying mifi help? I can't browse with it in my house but have strong signal outside my compound.

I get better performance on phone than on my mifi. So, I dont think getting a mifi will help.

Na wa o..
But d one we collected today in warri na #500 my bro pay o.. For redmi 5 plus

I collected mine too from the same post office a few weeks earlier and paid only #500. Someone here even said he received two phones; one was charged and the other wasn't. I guess they randomly selects items and charge them. I asked Nipost the reason for this and they directed me to customs.

Both are fast, they have their own little trying times. AliExpress Standard Shipping seems faster recently. I placed this order on the 24th of last month, it arrived on Tuesday.

Thanks baba. AES it is then.

I am having this exact issue, in fact, you'd see my reply to your tweets to Nipost, how can they be requesting a ridiculous charge of 11k plus of a 35k phone??
I am still here wondering what to do because I actually helped someone order the phone and after waiting for 3 weeks to arrive, will then ask them to send back and wait till it gets there to get refunded. It's just an annoying situation.
No information, no broadcast before starting this rubbish, even the cargo company clearance charges was raised by #200, this NIPOST issue, I just don't get it

I replied your tweet and nipost also replied that they had nothing to do with the charges and that I should contact customs for further information.

Correct me if am wrong, seems express shipping only comes with China stable rom, nw also consider the non techy people who prefers global rom to Chinese rom and no single idea on how to flash/unlock bootloader

If our sellers on nairaland can offer global rom on express shipping I think it will be better.

As Protein0 rightly pointed out, express shipping comes with whatever option you want. Whether you want global version, global rom or Chinese rom, they have it all covered. My friend that was charged 16k+ for customs ended up paying a total of about 96k for his RN5 and waited for 3 weeks before getting the phone. If he had used express shipping, he would have paid far less and waited for only 5-7 days to collect it. Be wise.
Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by muyibabs: 7:19pm On Jun 29, 2018
A little warning to people placing orders for phones using normal shipping (through NIPOST), you may be charged ridiculous custom charges. You may want to consider express shipping being offered by the likes of Noobody, Protein0, etc. It is faster and safer.

I think it's the post office guys that are trying to scam people with this exorbitant "custom charges". The invoice is clearly from nipost, and someone even said he didn't pay it despite getting the invoice.

I will definitely give them a piece of my mind next time I go there.

Where are they getting the 92,510 from?

I really don't know. The seller declared the value as 45 dollars. Maybe they checked the price online.

Here is the invoice.

Have u used the s8? If yes ... Answer honestly and shame the devil... Is it smooth?

Sincerely, I haven't used the S8 and I am not trying to take anything away from Android phones. I'm only giving kudos to Apple for running so smoothly on 3GB RAM. I can say it handles memory management more efficiently than many Android phones with 4GB RAM(Just my opinion though)
