It could be your APN settings. Compare with the APN settings on your brother's RN5 or create a new APN. Check google for your networks APN.

Useless to phones with IPS display

This is different from the normal ambient display on AMOLED screens. This one only displays while charging and it's a feature of google assistant.

Hmmm, that's a first. Then deactivating the fingerprint access for that particular app is the way to go.

I've tried Access bank, First bank as well as Zenith and they all grant only access to the app via fingerprint, everything else still requires your PIN and/or OTP.

They made it such that you can disable it in settings if you don't want it.

You'll still have to enter PIN or OTP to complete a transaction, that can't be replaced by fingerprint.

GTBank app now allows fingerprint in place of PIN/OTP to complete a transaction.

Recently, My keyboard keeps disappearing when i type. I thought it was the keyboard so i switched from swiftkey to cheetah but the problem continued. Pls, how do I fix this?

Turn off bluetooth and check the keyboard again. If it works fine then it's one bluetooth device you are connected to. Sometimes a bluetooth device tries to act as keyboard so I suggest you unpair the bluetooth device(s) and pair afresh.

I held the Mi 9t last week without the pouch and screen guard and the phone was very sleek. I wish I could use my phone like that. Even the RN7 looked really nice without the pouch.

The Pro has 4500mah battery which should help to an extent. If you are seriously concerned about updates and support then I think you should consider other devices. genius43, GrandMufti, Gptech, etc can shed more light on this

Yes. Redmi Note 8 uses Snapdragon 665 while Redmi Note 8 Pro uses Mediatek Helio G90T.

This does not look like Global version. They always indicate clearly if it is global version. You can chat with the seller to confirm.
