make sense ... make i dey expect review from you

i collected the Redmi Airdots today. Shipping took 12 days from order date. The sound is quite good. Same as the sound from my Anker Soundbuds Slim. Bass is good enough and it's clear.

Yes. That should be the problem. Disconnect the device.

You are right. It was a bluetooth smart bracelet that was acting like an input device. I disconnected it and everything went back to normal. Thanks so much. I appreciate the way people are always helping on this forum. Thanks to you all.

More confusion, but has their band 3 started working?

Yes. It is working fine in places where they already deployed it. People in Ibadan and some places in Lagos are enjoying it.

Please redmi gurus, does redmi note 7 have 4g lte band 28 (700mhz) there are conflicting reports about it. Even gsmarena said it does, but most online reviews said it doesn't. Please can someone throw more light on this.

It does not support 4G band 28 but it supports band 3 which glo recently added and they have deployed to some locations in Ibadan and Lagos. Hopefully, they will cover more areas soon.

Try reverting to default theme or clear cache of default keyboard app

The phone is not with me now. I will try this and give you feedback. Thanks.

Update: It was caused by a bluetooth smart bracelet. It was acting as an input device. Disconnecting it fixed the problem. Thanks.

Sorry about your plight guys. But one quick question; have you tweaked your device in anyway?

I had to ask coz we've hardly seen any device (except in rear cases of defective units) suddenly acting up without some prior level of tampering.

If you have any issues, for timely troubleshooting it'll be best you state what you must have done, tweaked, modded or installed/uninstalled etc you get precise suggestions to get your issue resolved

No tweaking done at all on the device.

Hmmm... Do you have any Bluetooth device connected to the fine?

Yes, a bluetooth headphones. Could that be the problem?

Ofemmanutosure:

Follow this path

Settings>additional settings> Languages and input> current keyboard. Then select keyboard you want to use.

Lemme know if it works

Thanks for the suggestion but it didn't work.

Do a factory reset.

I'm hoping it wont get to this. However if nothing works I will have to do factory reset. Thanks.

Please I need help with keyboard issue on my friend's Note 4x. Whenever you need to type and the keyboard is supposed to show, it doesnt. The space for keyboard just remains blank. I thought it was a Gboard issue so I downloaded Swift from play store. I went ahead and set the default keyboard to Swift and it still didnt show. I restarted several times and it sometimes showed after restart but disappeared shortly after. I have uninstall Gboard updates and reinstalled, still no luck.

Please help if anyone has experienced this before.

Actually, I think the durability is fine for the price.

It survived one bend, the screen survived two bends and a burn test.

It survived scratches up to level 7.

It tried biko.

I agree with you man. That test is cruel.

Have you guys seen this durability test of RN7? It's painful to watch sha.

Sold my Mi 8 lite for Redmi Note 7 Pro

Are you serious? The small size of the mi 8 lite is a winner for me. I can sacrifice camera, battery, etc for a smaller-sized phone.

In this case, update the phone from the updater first before doing your manual update. Its even possible you are trying to skip a major update with the method you are applying, won't work.

Ok. I will do that. Thanks.

My fellow xiaomi users, please is it not possible to skip an update and download the latest update zip manually and use the updater app to install? I haven't updated my redmi 4 prime for a while so I just downloaded the latest rom but the updater app said I should update to an older version first.

Connectivity speed on Glo 4G LTE on RN5 AI band 3 (Lekki Phase One).

Looks like the signal strength is now better further down from the Lekki - Ikoyi link Bridge roundabout towards Tantalizers. I'm sure coverage would have been activated on more cell sites now. Pls share your experience.

Here is my own test results on various modems(band 28, band 3, and 3G)

The speed fluctuates a lot and the speed on band 3 is only slightly better than 3G speed.

This dumb ass keeps talking about gestures so much, if you love the gestures why not get the iPhone Xs Max and leave us the fvck alone. We love our android like that kiss

Sooooo obvious...

It's so obvious that you haven't handled iPhone XS Max. Oneplus 6t has the best gestures on android but it is still not as good as that of iPhone.
