This is Chinese version. Does the language on the band revert to English when you first paired it with your phone?

The language should switch to English the moment you pair it to your phone. At least that's what happened with my mi band 3.

Please which is better between neckband and air dot Bluetooth earpiece?
I would like to know the reasons

I think the neckband is good for making/answering calls and for use during exercise. The air dots are more portable and less intrusive. The feeling of the neckband on your neck may be a discomfort to some people. At the end of the day it all boils down to personal preference.

Plug your charger and leave it for a while turn off connection to internet you should get up to 1920A. Note that your default charger is 10W and the Samsung charger should be above 10W

With a real QC 3.0 you should get up to 2.45A

Is the fast charger not supposed to supplier higher power? The Samsung fast charger is rated 9.0v/1.67A, 5.0v/2.0A. My phone is RN5 btw.

I observed a confusing result today when I used my normal charger vs a Samsung fast charger using the Ampere app to check the current/voltage. Using my normal charger supplies a higher current/voltage than the fast charger.

Different Modders, haven't used any. The first one is by BSG and the other by Bulkin.

I only help people with links to GCam I use neither Gcam or RN7

Thanks bro. Will try it out.

Below link is BSG GCam Mod portal. Be sure to look for RN7 cos that's the one for your device.

https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-bsg/#apk827

They have stopped posting latest mods for Bulkin if I get a link to the latest I will modify

Bulkin latest GCAM Mod Redmi Note 7

What's the difference between these two?

I still didn't find Radio Biafra... That means it doesn't get every radio station. It gets some, mostly those that have online streaming, but local channels no!

True. It doesn't get all stations. Only those with online streaming.

Lol. But 2022 is too far away. You will likely change your mind before then. Anyway, enjoy your device for now.

Genius43 have you updated your note 5 to pie? Should people just update manually and avoid OTA for now?

I updated too via OTA without any problem. Global version, locked bootloader, no mod installed. Maybe we should find out what is peculiar to those that got bricked.

Abi o. My friend got his RN5 for 80k and still paid customs of 15k plus.

Are you also patiently waiting for the price of K20 pro to drop? We are team 2020 cheesy

dad/mum/my main sim? I no fit ooo

My main mtn was eligible and I used it for like 3 months before I wasnt eligible anymore so I started using the line for calls only. About 2weeks later, it became eligible again. Meanwhile, my 2nd sim that I abandoned for several months was never eligible.

Same here! I personally think the colours are way too deep tho. You could notice most images now have a little orange-reddish shade and background which is undesirable for me. If they tried to manipulate it to look like Amoled colours, then it was peharps a fairly weak attempt. Oreo colours were better in my opinion... They may not be that vibrant but they had a good balance between colour shades and tint. They should go back to that in their next update.
That said, the new stable pie update has some jiucy features tho..
* Perfect Dark mode
* Improved reading mode.
* Better battery (major improvement here!)
* Improved camera (the stock camera is now almost as good as the legendary gcam)
* New charging animation.
* Added Face lock. (you can use it to unlock apps)
* New GPS status bar icon.
* A few app icon changes like MiVideo etc
As per the Hotspot-wifi issue (inability to use them simultaneously), I read somewhere that it was because the new Google pie codes clashed with Xiaomi's Miui integrations. So it's practically impossible to have that feature on most Miui roms. You can switch to AOSP-based roms tho, works flawlessly.

You can change the colors back from "Contrast and colors". I found it set to "increased". Setting it back to Automatic seemed to work. I personally prefer this new setting though.

Yes

Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by muyibabs: 2:02pm On Jun 07, 2019
I updated my RN5 today and I observed that I could not use wifi and hotspot together anymore. Very painful. My friend has refused to update his because of that. I also observed that the screen looks more sharp. The colours look more vibrant.

Maybe sha. But it's global version, was Chinese but was flashed to global

Whatever ROM is flashed on it does not change the underlying hardware. Chinese versions mostly do not have band 20. I had the same issue with my redmi 4 prime. It does not get MTN 4G here but my RN5 gets 4G.

Hi guys I'm in a dilemma, I was in Nsukka and using Mtn 4g. Travelled to Onitsha and found out there's mtn 4g in onitsha but I can't seem to use mtn 4g on my Note 7 but I can see mtn 4g on my 4g Router and it's browsing well. My mind is telling me it's because it's not on 4g only, it's configured to switche between 3g and 4g. How can I set it up to be on 4g only. Someone help

Is your phone Chinese version? If so then your phone only supports one of the 2 bands that MTN uses and it's possible the MTN 4G network at your location in Onitsha is the band missing in your phone.

That's not the case anymore

You can still move apps and data to second space. You have to do it from the second space. Go to Settings, second space, move data. I just checked.
