Confirmedzombie: Oh my God. Who did we offend. With this massive increase in cases, I dont expect the FG to allow any further movement.
A total lockdown of Two months should be enforced in all states. Everyone to remain inside his house.
People should stock their homes fully and all remain indoors. This is the only way this Pandemic could be defeated.
I call on the FG as a matter of urgency to lockdown the country indefinitely till further notice.
We are in big trouble in Nigeria and the FG lifting all bans and allowing its citizens suffer from this deadly virus.
I condemn it, I condemn it, I condemn it and urge all Nigerians to rise up to their voices and call for an indefinite lockdown till further notice.
Enough is enough now. no country in the world can sustain an indefinite lockdown. It is not possible, infact many will die if that happens |

miket2: LOL , you dont know anything , these are the most serious riots in 70 years , there were demonstrations all over world against America
Many of Americas closest allies have condemned them .
It has nothing to do with election , a lot of white people will not be happy for them kneeling , you obviously dont know anything about American politics, they will actually lose support over this
They are kneeling because regardless of affiliation Americans are extremely proud and patriotic and they know this has tarnished the countrys image
Do I think they are genuine ? of course not , but thats because I trust no politician
But anyone who thinks that kneeling will garner them even one vote is clueless
All those people that are kneeling now that they were abusing others that were doing it before, its mot genuine either , its only because they realise how bad they look right now 1992 riots was worse and lead to the death of 63 people |

SavageMaster: Primary cause of death: Kidney failure Secondary cause: Covid-19
Coronavirus made the death faster.
It's just like HIV. A normal may get sick with pneumonia or even malaria and recover, but with HIV, if the person's viral load is high, he may struggle or even die.
I hope you understand it will still be recorded as covid death if he doesn't make it. That's why many make the argument that covid figures are blown out of proportion |

UncleSnr: lol, you must be kidding. One thing is that Arafat was wise enough to disassociate himself due to political reason, but he supported terrorist attacks on Israel because he saw it as a means of creating disarray in Israel. He was number one on Israel's kill list, but he was removed because of political reasons, that didn't stop Sharon from plotting his death. number one on their kill list and he was a defacto president and recognized by several nations. He was more of a freedom fighter and more militant during the early days of PLO and their stay in Lebanon...also he had several meetings with then Israel prime minister and US president... Or do terrorists hold meetings with world leaders ? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Abdelmalek Droukdal, Al-Qaeda Leader, Killed By French Military With US Help by mvem(m): 8:48am On Jun 07, 2020 |
UncleSnr: Yeah, you are partially right but killing their leader also damages stuff. When Arafat died, PLO became disorganized. When Sheikh Ahmed Yassin of Hamas was killed by Israeli missile, they became disorganized and had to join forces with a group that Yassin would never had supported. Cutting the head of the hydra still does damage to the hydra. Arafat wasn't a terrorist and was recognized as a leader by many countries. Arafat held many peace talk with American president and Israel prime ministers |

Rediff1: There is still something Nigeria fail to realize. How can a lady grow to a level of Captain of aircraft?. Its unheard of. Air crafting and Piloting especially when going to war is a very sensitive duty which requires maximum level of Braveness which women is naturally UNCAPABLE of. The truth is, women can never have a strong heart or bravery a man can have. Don't get me wrong, am not been Gender Based but even Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, " Women are not Completely created that is why God create men to be their guidance. The prophet also said a woman should never occupy any leadership position, not even a head Mistress because no matter how educated a woman is, she can never match up with the natural attribute of leadership God bestow to Men. That brings me to a Rank of captain, a captain is supposed to be in charge and command a group of soldiers on an aircraft when going for a mission. (Soldiers which will consist of Men). I think Nigeria's constitution need to be revise and limit the maximum rank which women can reach in military. Don't get me wrong, I love women women, am just speaking the truth, please don't insult my opinion. Meanwhile, check out the announcement Below history disputes your claim. We have had great female individuals in history that lead soldiers and nations...Aisha, Nefrtiti, even Margaret Thatcher that was called the Iron lady ...look not far, have you heard of the female squad in the Kurds Army in Syria and Iraq that gave ISIS tough time. They were lead by women and there was a time ISIS executed there own troops because these women won them in battle and they ran away...go check them out on google or on YouTube |

proffemi: There is. Progress towards racial equality has been slow but it happens, even if in fits and starts. Unless it is mismanaged by the leadership (cough, Trump...) this is another opportunity for some progress to be made. you can't change a system that made America what it is today. From the basis of their foundation...worse riots like the 1992 riots was far worse, 63 were killed and Bush called in the national guard....The police man in this case was just charged for 3rd degree murder and manslaughter which alone is already a weak charge. I have a lot to say but let us leave it here |
Foreign Affairs › Re: George Floyd Protests: Trump Deploys US Military In Washington by mvem(m): 12:25pm On Jun 02, 2020 |
proffemi: Rara . Good leadership effects change while working within the ambit of legally empowered institutions, not through individual power grabs. Blacks in position of authority are not there to serve blacks alone. They have to avoid too much ethnic coloration being read into their actions, else they lose credibility.
Trying to push change through on an individual level as you're suggesting would only strengthen the divides in America. In my opinion, Obama struck (more-or-less) the right balance; he was just crippled by an obdurate republican opposition. toh!...no end in sight then |
Foreign Affairs › Re: George Floyd Protests: Trump Deploys US Military In Washington by mvem(m): 10:27am On Jun 02, 2020 |
proffemi: You don't understand what Obama had to contend with. The Republicans vowed to ensure that he made no progress and indeed they did that. Whatever progress he made was while fighting serious Republican headwinds. It got so bad that MacConnell just refused to have hearings for Obama's Supreme Court nominee. Obama had to resort to executive orders to get anything done.
Obama's straitjacketing by the Republicans made it impossible to address many important issues. what best again could the black demand in US by having a black president for good 8 years. Also we have blacks heading the police force, Black's as supreme court justices, blacks as mayors, senators and governors. I am not saying somehow the system is not against them but they have had their people in the position of power. Who else will change things for them if not these people that happen to be in the position of power. I also think that partly the blacks are to be blamed for their problems |

Romance › Re: How Will The World Be Without White People by mvem(m): 3:41pm On Jun 01, 2020 |
jorion: First paragraph is totally rubbish because you continue to undermine the impact of European colonization whilst overstating the incoming Chinese colonization. I see nothing but bias and double standards. One for the Europeans and another for the Chinese even though they are doing or did exactly the same thing except the Chinese don't eradicate indegenous tribes.
Secondly, do you even know how Islam came to India. There's a reason why Indians has a deep seated hatred for Islam. And has nothing to do with roses and flowers.
Thirdly, a poverty capital is still a poverty capital no matter how you try to paint it. There's a reason many Chinese still eat rats even till this very hour.
The slave trade was facilitated by the powerful Africans, just as the enormous corruption is still being facilitated by the powerful Africans. What's your point?
And who said that Africa won't be great again? You!!!
THE JAPANESE ARE SIMPLY PLAYING ALONG FOR NOW, THEY AIN'T STUPID NEITHER DO THEY WANT A THIRD ATOMIC BOMB DROPPED ON THEIR HEADS BY EITHER THE EUROPEANS OR THE CHINESE.
DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT JEWISH ISRAELI BULLSHIT. THAT'S A DIFFERENT TOPIC ON IT'S OWN. so you want to blame Islam on the Europeans in India. A black muslim won't like what you say you know that?... How did Europeans make Hindus hate Islam or was Islam spread not from the Arab to the Persians and Indian region, where did the Europeans have to do with this...My point in the first paragraphs is all about blaming and complaining. If Africans wish to be great again as your preach no one will do it for them...pity you seek won't come and the world ain't fair... The Jews I called was just an example of how being ravaged shouldn't be duelt upon or use to determine your future. If you want to change things you can...whatever bias or narrative you have for the Jews is your opinion as everyone sees them differently. My message is basically saying since you preach of greatness then nothing stops you from showing it at this time but yourself |
