Doesn't change the fact that the level of healthcare in Nigeria is nothing to write home about. There is no basis to even start any comparison with the NHS or overseas healthcare.
they still have about 50,000 deaths

Boris Johnson was in a critical condition and he got up and same goes for the prince Charles, if corona virus was a black man thing, kyari would still be alive you with me ??
Oga Boris never used a ventilator, his condition never became critical. He was carried to the hospital to be monitored in the ICU. If he was put in a ventilator his chance of survival wasn't going to be up to 7-10% whether with heavenly care

U.S dey regret now sef that they didn't react and prevent the spread on time, when Trump was saying the virus will go on its own... Germany are already considering another lockdown sef after the re-infection rate dey rise
what governments are considering is localized lockdown which is locking down a town, street, city etc...no nation can do a general lockdown again, it was actually very disruptive

When we had less than 1000 cases, schools were closed, now we have more than 21k cases, schools now want to open.

This abracadabra Covid-19 is something else in this failed contraption
same way US have millions of cases now and want to reopen

Until this virus consume us in Africa thats when our leaders will have ears to listen to ecperts like us.

Total lockdown till further notice is the only wat to defeat this virus.

People should stock their homes , stay indoors and the virus will be defeated.
we are the least infected in the world with the lowest death rate in the world and high recovery rate...Malaria should have killed more than what Covid just did...mind you malaria takes about 480,000+ lives in Africa every year...

Can we see the bodies of dead people huh I saw how they were dragging full grown healthy man inside their van, and I asked my self , can coronaVirus patience be this strong... coronaVirus in Nigeria is just a scam, everyday we heard new infected and dead people but we are not seeing their bodies,
the problem is many are not well informed about the ailment. We think it is a terrible disease when it appears like flu or no symptoms in healthy individuals. Only about 5%+ make it to ICU in the hospital. Many recover within 2-3 weeks by just managing the symptoms. Corona is not a death sentence as they portray it

nobody said anything about social distancing
If they fumigate the hallways, Hostel entrances regularly and ensure that students use sanitizer stands that are placed at the different entrances of the hostels and class rooms are we not good to go?

Unless you want us to wait for a cure that might not be available for the next 6 months
you are Nigerian and these things won't work perfectly considering attitude and society...even if you use sanitizer or whatever that won't curtail spread in a place like a hostel if one have it... Just imagine, will you sanitize all time in your room, what of the bathroom and you know how communal we are...in reality I think it will spread but good enough WHO have said that spread in Africa is actually limited compared to Europe due to several reasons...we are just being lucky

Uniben can implement these guidelines, Classes and other public gathering areas will be sanitized with sanitizer stands in different places Uniben can control these things
hostels where everyone is doing things close to each other...rooms, bathroom, kitchen...how will you social distance in a hostel or class setting...will they fumigate bathrooms after everyone goes in or what ?

my friend Im talking in terms of economic damage and how many cities were involved, thats how they have always measured the severity of the riots .

They do not use the death toll to calculate how big a riot is , they never have.

Its a separate issue ,

It has always been done that way because while its easy to calculate the financial costs of property damage , loss of business etc one cannot put a financial figure on what a life is worth .
what economic damage?..what are you saying ?...how have this damaged the economy?
