That's what I don't understand. Hausa and Fulani are two distinct languages, nothing connects them at all other than region.
actually you get it wrong. They are distinct but years of living together have made them indivisible, thats why the phrase Hausa-fulani. You will see someone with a fulani dad and hausa mom or vice-versa, hundred of years of living together has made it so that it is hard to differentiate at times. Though there are pure fulanis that haven't cross bred with hausa. Buhari dad is a fulani man but was the leader in a hausa community, Daura. Also Hausa to many fulanis is a first language( normally to the urban fulanis) and second language to the nomad fulanis that are made up of pure fulanis. I know of many fulanis that hardly speak fulfulde but Hausa is generally understood not just among fulanis but the general North

Even in the story of the prodigal son, we are told that the father had to gather up his robes so that he would be able to run to his son when he returned

"We must understand that at this time the wealthy just did not run. It was considered undignified, and something for common workers to do. Not only so, but the robes they wore did not lend themselves to running. When one wanted to work or move quickly, he would take off his outer garments and gird up his under-robe, tying it up underneath into what we would describe as a kind of pair of shorts. Yet this father certainly took the time to do none of this. Thus, when he ran to meet his son, he would have had to hold his skirts up as he was running, and altogether would have looked not only undignified but also fairly foolish. Yet it is clear that this father did not care how he looked to others, so eager is he to meet his son."

lady you don't need to be there. History shows us what people of that time wore, it is not rocket science. We know where Jesus lived and what era he lived .So simply find out how they dress in the that region and that particular time. The Op is confusing himself. Men of that era did not wear trousers but flowing robes/gown...whatever you call it but their cloths were quite different from the ones worn by the ladies

kjsun15:
the initiative is good as you people look at it from the outlook. but people needed to be educated on why ASUU opposed the exploitative pay roll:

1) when ASUU was asked to join the pay role, ASUU ask some fundamental questions which the consultant of the exploitative scheme couldn't say a word e.g. on the pay roll design, retirement age is 60 years as against normal 65 years for any civil servant and 70 years for prof. and readers in the university extant law. so the ippis automatically log you out of pay roll once you are 60years as a prof or reader.

2) federal universities staff tax varies across the nation with peculiarity among the host state. for example, federal uni of Ibadan staff have different tax structure compared to his colleagues from uni of Nigeria and this is achievable through the ability of each school governing council to negotiate with the host governor as cost of living varies nation wide. The Ippis only has unique tax structure that does not create room for variability in living cost across the federation hence university autonomy is violated.

3) Has the military staff been integrated? Have the national assembly payees and staff been integrated to Ippis? the answer ASUU got from the consultant was Capital letter NO. Why intimidating ASUU as if ASUU is the Nigeria's problem.

4) it is good to save cost and reduce wastages, please, where did the govt invest the said saved 250 billion since the introduction of ippis. ASUU queried that they could not pin point where the saved cost is!

5) the initiative of IPPIS is good but the component is modern day slavery that is designed by world bank to further enslave workers from underdeveloped countries. ASUU ask for proper remodification to suite our economy, as researchers, to better the poorly design Ippis that the consultant in charge could not explain some components comprehensively.

let me hold it here, cause there are lots of lapses that needed to be exposed........

Can you prove this? undecided
I am happy you said Einstein's theory, not invention btw smiley
Einstein's equation was fundamental in the concept(I will like to believe you mean creation) of creation of nuclear bomb?
Ok I will like you to answer this for me then;
Why didn't someone as smart as Einstein didn't create the nuclear bomb then?why did Fermi did it instead?
I mean E=mc2 is all it takes to create the bomb right?such a joker undecided
Why is it that the only real thing he achieved in life is just a physics price?
You know why?his theory can very well pass for toilet paper wink
And please I am sick and tired of people trying to make relativity important and applicable because it is Not!
It is not used in any technology so please dispute me with proof, not words of mouth please.
Do you know relativity is one of the most argued topics today?
Why is it so if your claim of it being used in technology is true?
Relativity has no proof yet.Or can you travel at the speed of light?
I will be waiting...
Please not one man created the nuclear bomb, it was created by hundreds of scientist during the Manhattan project that ran from 1942-1946. Some of these Scientist were Oppoheimer, Bohr, Hans Bethe, Ernest Laurence, Enrico Fermi, Feynman(he is quite popular), Chadwick etc etc. Some worked in achieving the fission, some work in the delivery system etc etc. The product were two bombs at the end of the day. Einstein theory was the foundation of the idea that sub-atomic particles can create energy from their masses. This was reflected in the letter he wrote to the President of United States (Roosevelt), which kick started the Manhattan project. Why Einstein was not part of the Manhattan project was because he never knew the theory will eventually be used for a bomb so he was against that, he was a Pacifist. General relativity is well argued but not Special Relativity, seems your knowledge is poor. Einstein came with a concept that enhanced Newton mechanics. Special relativity was his first work and it was a great work. It showed everything is relative and it was a turning point in the history of Physics and engineering which occurred in early 1900s. It explained electromagnetism perfectly and even other newtonian concept. General relativity was what he worked on later which was trying to explain other concepts like gravity and space time( an elaborate theory on Special relativity). Einstein had little issues in his general relativity because it contradicted Quantum Theory. Still general relativity was a success because it predicted that light can bend under gravitational force which is used today in astronomy and astrology( example of this is the hubble telescope used in studying the cosmos). Also people fail to forget that Einstein Nobel prize was not on E=Mc2 or relativity but on Photoelectric effect, which was one of the most important discoveries in the 1900s. Because of the discovery of photo-electric effect we have Semi conductors and micro chips, Solar panels etc.....Einstein died trying to Unite Relativity and Quantum Mechanics, which was termed Grand Unification Theory or TOE( theory of everything), which till today it is still worked on. All physicist respected and respects Einstein even your Fermi and Einstein is still regarded as one of the greatest men to walk on earth. To say Einstein had no impact on we humans and technology as a whole is a big insult

NOT TRUE.
Enrico Fermi made nuclear weapons possible undecided
Not that useless lie of E=mc2 BS.
Fermi was part of the manhattan project and Einstein equation was fundamental in the concept of the nuclear bomb and also Nuclear energy which is about 20% of what western world used for power. Also Einstein theory of relativity brought about GPS system that Satellites and telecommunication/Navigational Systems use today, better understanding of fundamental physics principles that enabled MRI imaging , particle accelerators, computer chips etc

The man in question will still cheat again and the woman will go about beating the next one. lucky enough she saw a tamed girl, you know some girls will fight her and beat her on top. The culprit is the man not the lady, when there is no demand the supply disappears. In the eyes of the law the woman beating her is committing an offence, let her go and settle with her husband. How does this beating stop the man from doing that again.Funny enough is the woman beating her a saint....

you are not saying the truth man Liverpool didn’t deserve a win in that game check the stats..,don’t tell me you aren’t happy they savaged a point
please check the stats yourself. They had more shots and more possession. Your goal came through a debatable VAR decision, why they actually scored twice but had a goal disallowed. Truth be told, Liverpool were not at their best but still salvaged a draw. Utd played their best game this season, better than the 4-0 Chelsea win but could only draw. Hope you guyz won't go and start jonsing again among smaller teams. Calm down bro. I almost got knifed in a bar at Manchester Piccadilly by a scouser because of this game back in 2011. Spare me the history lesson I know the rivalry. But then again considering the two sides form it was safe to say it was Liverpool's game to lose rivalry or no rivalry. You'd have to take form into reckoning because of the disparity in quality between the two sides at the moment. This was the best time for Liverpool to beat Utd.
you are right actually .....Thankgod that you were not stabbed

To be honest Liverpool were lucky to draw that game. Although before the match I thought they'd batter Man Utd but that wasn't the case. Ultimately this result will kick start Man Utd's season. I see them doing better going forward because of the confidence boost they'll get from this game.
Did you start watching football today. the result is not a surprise. This is Liverpool vs Utd, the biggest game in England. Even Ferguson came for training to motivate the team, that's to show you how important the game is. Don't just use this game to judge Utd because it was expected, it is a rivalry ...a very strong one......Despite people shouting Liverpool will thrash Utd, more experienced fans knew it was likely a draw. In these kind of games form is out of the question, more of playing for pride
