We should however remember that a son of the soil, GEJ, was VP for 2 years, Acting president for 1 year and full executive president for 5 years. Did the Fulani's also stop him from doing something about his homeland? Buhari supporters and senseless argument. Who built the only federal university in buhari state? Why didn't buhari build it when he ruled in 83 |

MalcoImX: You don't have any conscience. Is calling GEJ a drunk, retard...nho, clueless (which are even censored) the same as calling somebody a goat fucker. GEJ has been called many names but not to a level that you'll be allowed to say he's fucki.ng a goat.
Also, it is during GEJ that nairaland introduced the 'Every nairalander is responsible for ...' Who knows what transpired? You forgot the seizing and closure of newspapers/newspaper houses, governors being jittery, with some having their planes grounded/prevented from entering other states. What about the raid on APC offices by security agencies, and many more 'unpalatable' circumstances..
You're the one deceiving yourself. May God not let back to a period when even governors are afraid of the president. See as the thing de pain you |

RTSC: There are igbos spread all over the country. From the north, south, west, and the middle belt.
Significant igbo numbers everywhere.
Those numbers are conservative.
But given the fact that igbos are mostly Christian which should play a significant role in monogamy and birth rate compared to the other majority ethnics, we should be third largest. Secondly polygamy reduced among igbos only recently. Most of us have polygamous fathers and grandfathers
We don't procreate anyhow like the other two. And you forgot we have highest life expectancy too. |

RockHard: That is why I said even if the SW 'dashes' igbos 5-million out of our total SW population (going by that data I presented), una go still fall far short. Oyo and Ogun combined telecoms data subscribers outnumber those of the entire SE states combined. That's just two states in the SW. The 4 remaining SW states (as well as Kwara and YOruba-speaking Kogi) have a combined telecoms subscriber base of atleast 28-million. If you still don't get it, then I cannot help you. I dey go to bed. You should really go and sleep oga. |

Add another 5-million from the rest of the country and una go still fall short of the SW. It is clear you have never left SW all your life |

Within that same time frame, Nigeria has gone from nowhere on the world list of most populated countries to number 7 globally. Heck in 1921 England was more populated than Nigeria plus Ghana plus Liberia plus Sierra Leone, not to mention the whole of the UK. And here you are quoting population figures from that ara like it is supposed to hod any statistical value? You are confused |

Opinionated: Almost impossible, you cannot remove ethnic considerations in the mix. No way the majority of Yoruba people will see a Yemi and then go and pick an Obi especially with the way some people in the Southeast go about their politics- a mixture of self-delusion, lack of accommodation of other people, hatred of others and lack of tolerance of opposing voices even in Igboland will almost certainly guarantee a poor return for the PDP in the Southwest. Lol. Yorubas and tribal politics. |
Politics › Re: CIA Revision Of Nigeria's Ethnic And Religious Statistics. Shock Alert!! ... by MXrep: 11:35pm On Nov 15, 2018 |
scholes0: Instead of you to take those figures with a pinch of salt, and argue why Igbos can not be 14.1% of Nigeria, you are quoting me because i said no way Yorubas can be a mere 13.9% of Nigeria, simply because the igbos outnumber the yorubas by 0.2 percentage points. Worse still, you aren't even talking about the impossible Hausa figures.okay na.
At least the old figures had a basis... What is the basis/statistical support behind the new figures
Eziokwu is probably the CIA Nigerian staff that changed it without any backing proof. While this stat is false truth remains that igbos outnumber yorubas in Nigeria. Like someone said before 1963 census is not reliable because Nigeria factor has already crept in. 1921 was purely colonial and more reliable. This is a 1933 document quoting the 1921 census.

shukuokukobambi: You wanted me to mention the entire 36 governors? are the 4 i mentioned not representative enough or in your warped way of thinking , only Amaechi, Akpabio, Fashola and Aregbe shared the money?
Peter Obi was GEJ's right hand man and he was simply playing to the gallery. When GEJ shared the first tranch in 2010, why didn't he object?
Amaechi and co did right in insisting on sharing it and hear Soludo tell you why
“….Governor Amaechi said the governors insisted on sharing the funds because they found out that you were illegally fiddling with the savings. So, as Nigerians still wonder, if billions of dollars are now ‘missing’ under your nose, why should governors trust you to keep their money?… Even governors of your own party, PDP, do not trust you to keep their money!
http://www.thescoopng.com/2015/02/02/summary-10-accusations-soludo-made-okonjo-iweala/ You didn't mention any governor from the waste. The point is that obi saved his share while others squandered theirs including those from your wasteside. So the point here is obi's smartness above his peers not GEJ' s cluelessness so you are dissipating energy in the wrong direction |

abc115: This the dumbest write-up , I have ever seen. If excess crude was shared...what percentages go to FG and States ?. For your information 53% goes to FG , while 27% goes to all the states combined. The question now to you and the author of the book, where is the FG share of 53%?. If I may ask you and Dr Ngozi again, going by her account , Are you now concluding that President Jonathan was a weak President who does not have mind of his own? What is your take concerning Peter obi. Stop dwelling in the past and face the future. Gej and NOI are now in the past. OBI is the future. |

shukuokukobambi: Granted Amaechi, Akpabio, Saraki, T.A Orji etc refused savings. Even though you forget that all the governors were entitled to was 26.72% for them and 20.6% for their LGA's.
What happened to the 52.68% of GEJ and Ngozi? Did they put a gun to GEJ's head and forced him to spend the FG share?
Why are ediots now blaming the Governors who had less share than GEJ and Ngozi? This thread is about Peter obi. Not about ngozi and GEJ. What do you have to say about obi on this issue? |
