It still does not take away the fact that there are still more Yorubas in Kano, than you will ever find in the 5 South Eastern states put together.
There are Northern states like Niger state where you will find more Yorubas than Igbos. There are also far more Yorubas in Ivory Coast than you will find in S.E states.
There is something that is pursuing people from SE states including indigenes that travels to different parts of the country in search of a better life.
Honest analysis of this is what can reverse the trends, not this Ostrich approach of burying your heads in the sand.

you can only find more yorubas in places like Niger, Kebbi, Zanfara, etc. This is because, these places are not commercial. Igbos outnumber yorubas in Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, Maiduguri (before boko haram), Jos etc. This is the same reason there are few yorubas in the East, East is highly commercial. Aba or Onitsha have more northerners than all yorubas in south east and south south. There is no excuse for lack of adventure, yorubas only travel to areas without commercial bustle because of their legendary laziness
