vosquare:
Who knows where I can buy tomato seeds around ibadan and lagos?
just go to the market and look for any fresh tomato available been sold,

after buying them,
cut slice it open and bring out their seeds,

you can either dry them in the open or just pour out their water straight to the soil,

after some days it will start to germinate

Apart from all this,

please oga okoroemeka are you to say with expected profit you have really made upto 500,000 in 90 days in just 1 plot of land?

This indeed will be an eye opener for anyone underating farmers,

even some businesses can not even boast of 500k in a whole year talkless of just 3 months,

anyways i pray God blesses your new task at hand so even your enemies will be at peace with you,

kudos to you sir!

Indeed farming requires courage,

because its not really easy heading off to thick bushes and creating a pathway to earn and make money there

but i will make it clear to you sir,
i will devise an idea that can beat this your own,

i will make 10,000,000 naira in 150 days from just 1 plot of land.

Anyone interested should ask me how grin

Seconded. FarmTech did you read this? Pavore9 you better work on this before this escalates. Once I'm down settling the foundational phases of my projects I can track him down and the repercussions won't be handled lightly. It's to his benefit to put an end to this cyber bullying you're giving back through your inactions. I'm jejely on my own someone is looking for Tom rouble they can't handle. I won't ask again. But will stay silent on this to watch events unfolds. When it becomes my turn I won't hear sorry no matter the number of grey headed persons came to me
this issue of pistotita accussing almost everyone of fruad here is getting out of hand,

oga abeg you be police!
Or do you work with sars?

The thing i have really learnt about you is that you dont just want anyone to speak up at all,

you just want to be the only mouth here,

when you speak others will keep shut and listen,

but brother thats not really the way to go on all this,

its easier for me to be in support of kunleweb to track you down and get you arrested for cyber bullying and false aligations,

in which you are not really sure of,

you claim to be mr know all but you have really forgoten there are some super smart people that are way far in knowlegde more than you here in this agric thread but wont say anything,

all they do is just to come and read peoples comments and grab the little that they need and just go away without even uttering a word as contributions,

so mr pistotita be wise and stop all this accusations,

even if healthserve is truelly a scammer,
but whereby you keep ringing and singing it out multiple times so people can believe you,

then i tell you there will be a time those people you are forcing to hate and reject healthserve will turn back and hate you seriously,

i am not hating on you but i just cant understand you no more,

sometimes you sound true but sometimes you sound crazy,

anyways kunleweb all you need to do is just sound out your final warning to him and move on,

but if he continues on this false accusations then you have no choice than to ask for his arrest,

just remember that every one is a king in his own world!

I want to tell you that there are very local farmers that never used mechanized farming in their entire life but they have emmassed great wealth that you cant even be compared to their servants,

mechanized farming will only make farming easier and its not necessary everyone should start from that,

Luwaluwa:
Please does anyone know where i can get seedlings of atarodo? This is urgent.
Thanks.
oga dont just waist your time and money buying seedlings,

its better you buy seeds that are plenty,

just head up to iyano-iba or some market women selling atarodo seeds and buy from them,

then use a small bucket added with sand,

plant the seeds inside and spray a little amount of sands upon it to cover it,

then spray a little amount of water to it,

and cover the bucket with a nylon ontop and leave for 5-8 days,

it will start germinating,
because its a 100% sure way to start up peppers,

no need to spray it water again,
just spray once and leave it,

once they germinate in 7 days time then make sure you remove the nylon ontop the bucket covering it,

then you can now start watering the seedlings since you have now removed the nylon

do leave the seedlings to stay there for 3-4 weeks before transplanting to the field,

you need to do this because of the rate seedlings are damn just too costly to buy,

You better be careful before your money enters one chance. Lol. Person wey wan wear gucci and designer to farm is who you want to commit your money in his hand. Lol. See... he will use your money buy Versace and you will start looking for him. You better save yourself troubles. You have been warned. Or did you not read where he was boasting and dreaming of wearing Tommy Hilfiger and the rest to farm? Even Escober and Felix the godfather did not wear designers to farm even with their billions dollars of drug cash. Person wey never get a succesful farm dey boast, and you don fall yakata. You better be careful. I will tolerate him and see if he is successful. Will be happy for him if he is.....but this one....hmmmm. i will not put in my money in a farmer who is already telling me he is going to wear Calvin Klein to farm. O boy....you get mind o. And you wan invest in him? Chai!

He is even using the N word to describe himself. You no dey fear oooo. You wan commit your money in a N....r's hand? Ha! shocked shocked shocked

Or did you not research him to know he is a Marlian? Na so he will just carry many wraps of marijuana to farm and dey blast music dey enjoy himself with his gangs there. When they are suppose to remove weed from your farm...and they start seeing stars and remove all plants instead of weeds. Lol....He will even beat you on top of your money after the loss. Or don't you know the effect of marijuana? You get mind oooo. Ha! You wan invest in a Marlian? He calls himself yahoo yahoo too.
hahahaha
abeg i no fit laugh grin

you called me a marlian farmer grin
its really foo funny,

please and please i want this to be clear enough,

all i wanted was my own mindset and dreams and i hope to achieve it and make it a reality,

what is really wrong wearing guchi chains to your own farmland?

What is wrong driving your own latest lambourgini ride to your farm?

That does not mean you wont get the farm job done,

after all you will employ some few farm labourers working for you,

i usually see old time farmers as been living a boring life and still engaging on farms like its a pityable work,

mind you i only said its my dream to be a rich farmer and that does not mean i am already living the life or will blow away investors money,

i only imagined and aired my view so that many young guys morals can be positively boosted,

i have once seen a farmer's son rejects his fathers farms to go startup his own choice of business,

just to tell you everyone is not the same,

i have never laughed so hard for a long time like this,

all because of you this mr pistotitagrin

to me one of the easiest crops someone can invest in and still start making profit out of it the same month of planting is water leaf,

plant it this month and start harvesting in just 3 weeks time,

although i will soon upload pics here of my mini test project of water leaf farming,

just to let you know we are in for business,

cheers

Hello mr okoroemeka,
the man i highly do respect here due to your calm nature and willingness to teach us things here for free without adding some locked codes to it onlike one old grown fella here,

always good in detecting fraud but will never help anyone in his jambass numerous teachings of researches,

please i calmly state my claim here because i am really bittered this very moment,

i know its all because of this their jobless men arguements you purposely stoped updating us here in this thread,

there are some of us here that are moraly way down due to those 2 incombatible fools and their arguments,

who is fraud and who is not a fruad!

Is that what we came here to learn?

But with my humble plee to you as an elder,

please ignore them as they are never and will never be any beneficial to this agricultural thread as you have been so far,

i beg you in the name of God to find time to bring to our notice your usual updates as like you have always done before,

even though i hardly contribute anything here but it gives me great joy reading and learning new things from you,

almost every day i would rush up here to read and be excited enough so as to make my day complete,

no day would pass i wont come here to read contributions and suggestions from this thread that i even made it my best thread in this whole agricultural section,

but guess what?

This 2 looking old baboons with their useless arguments about who is a fraudster and who is not has made this thread a very dull one for me here and others who are grieved to behold all this,

it pains me to see some cowards making a point but he hardly shows people the way of succeding like him,

all he does is speak in jagoons like a slowpoke,

i wont call names here but am simply angry right now to the inner chambers of my bones,

but it also grieved me seeing the mods dont act as they suppose to,

had it been it was me or anyone else here

we would have been surely served 3 years ban for disturbing public peace,

and be relived from using this agricultural thread for life,

hmmm it pains me to see niggars sad but they cant say a word because they are scared of this big pumper nose of a guy who claims to know it all,

but please mr okoroemeka i beg you in the name of the lord who made the heavens and the earth to please continue on this your update on this thread,

never has i been angry like this online and has ever spoken with anger for this long period of time,

this is my little petition to you sir to reconsider and go all out and be the man that we want you to be,

the leader and the teacher we have always respected you to be,

say no to those riffrafs and their useless arguments

and as for the mods keeping a deaf ears to all this shit happening in agricultural threads,

i say thank you and welldone,

if it was my account my2chains that have been causing all this botanical arguements up and down,

you guys would have smiled and served me a sweet 3 days suspension or better still be banned for years out of the agricultural section

i drop my case here,

mods please take note or else no one will take you guys serious again.

sorry my fellow readers for all this long speech epistle

its high time we kick this 2 argueing ugly niggars in their dick balls so their brains can be reboothed so they can shut the dem up for good!

I onced loved you both but now at the mention of your names i just feel this inner hatred and anger that i can hardly bear it.

Why reduce yourselfs to this low level of thinking

hmm anyways Cheers to you all from an angry okoroemeka fan

Following keenly!

And to the mods, this thread must NOT be on the frontpage, if u can't spend ur time wisely to search for things lyk dis on NL, then u don't worth seeing dis type of info.
Don't get me wrong,I'm nt being selfish, just dat some things shud just be the way they shud be.
people like you are supposed to be posted to the war front zone in sambisa forest,

you are the type that kills people's dreams so easily,

a time we new farmers need more experience and are not encouraged enough and you are here saying all this,

anyways i dont really blame you after all you have never added any meaningfull thread here so people can learn from,

just go and search here in nairaland for a free niggar called ymodulus,

he is always free with his ideas and never hides them onlike people like you,

i think i hate your type with passion

a time where in agric section we hardly see new updates from farmers again onlike before,

as for those 2 ugly fellas accusing theirselfs for who is clean and can detect fraud,

while the other keeps denying saying his image is been demolished,

na earthquake thunder go fire the two of una yansh there

people like okoroemeka now hardly drops his sweet loving updates all because of you two rats,

i wont call names here but you 2 baboons know yourselfs,

anyone disturbing public peace should be taken down and banned for life,

please mods take note and stop been afraid to ban them for several weeks

i once remembered there was a time anytime i come to agric section i would read and learn new things that i will even be confused on the one to start from,

but nowadays i hardly see any new updates from the experienced farmers again,

hmm it is well,
because when the elders are busy accusing each other on some silly useless issues

then we the youths are to silence them or else they face severe punishment

please mods i want you guys to know that this agric section is no longer as sweet as it is before when i newly came here,

and if you do not act as expected by banning those old folks with their numerous arguments here,

then i will surely leave this thread and never return again

it grieves me to see the beloved niggars and farmers that contributed much to this thread are now silent,

all because one ugly fellow is claiming he is the most intellect of all,

if you are intelligent enough why not go pair yourself with ymodulus and lets see who is wiser?

Am really angry typing all this right now,

cheers

My mum tried that with two bags of ewedu and they offered N400 for them.
Retailers try to exploit farmers
Both vegetable and poultry because they know you have to sell after harvest and your birds have to be sold
i just planted and uprooted 100 naira ewedu seeds i bought from my normal aboki seller,

it grew under one month and was really greeny and fresh,

although i harvested it and used it to cook ewedu soup just only once but i never sold it because of this your discouragement,

why do you have to say any thing negative here in a public space like this?

Even if your mum sold 2 bags for 400 naira why spoil another persons mind here?

So we should all run because its not really profitable,

do you know maybe they knew she was a newbie thats why they exploted her,

please stop saying things like this on public space again abeg.

See as i just left my hard earned ewedu to be distroyed by those useless stingy thin birds that resembles evil forbidden creatures to feed on all because of this your comment here,

because i felt that ewedu was indeed not profitable,

although i hope to replant it again this new year

Please my2chains, is neem oil very effective in controlling pests in an okro farm?
hello sir,
neem oil is really one of the best pesticides ever,

but if its too costly and you need a cheaper alternative then go for pepper spray insecticides

although you need to be careful so it does not touch your skin

(walahi you fit run craze with crazy scratchings )

all you need do is get chilli peppers or cameroun pepper and grind,

add water and filter out the pepper,

then apply only the water to the plants

apply it early in the morning or late in the evening

although there is this aboki that sells dwarf variety of okro here in my area,

a milk cup goes for just 100 naira,
and it can cover almost a half plot of land,

it has average 3000 seeds when i counted it

People hardly gets good business ideas online,

everyone is kind of hiding and holding on to theirs all because they want no one to know of it,

thats why i kind of liked ymodulus
he is the best nairalander i have ever known in my entire history of been here,

although i never got to chat with him or asked him questions,

but his ever ready gift of sharing free informations to others is what will make me never to ever forget him in this lifetime,

he is indeed a legend and his soul will continue to live here in nairaland forever and ever,

i dough my hat for you ymodulus baba,
you are the best compared to all this our stingy lucklustered grammatically endowed teachers and philosofers,

anyways you will hardly see farmers come here to share their daily or weekly profits made from their farms so to encourage others,

while some with nugget heads as big as a big water borehole will come here to analise even little things as soil testing,

but still lock his principles here with multiple codes,

telling you to go and make research and find it out by yourself.

Forgeting not everyone is been blessed with wisdom and the time to do all that.

as if here na programming school

is this how the oyinbos and the whites do theirs?
If it was so then this world would not have even reached this developed stage by now,

anyways water leafs will be needing more nitrogen supplemented fertilizer so it can really grow fast and have broad bigger green leafs,

and dry poultry chicken manure will provide all that,
AgricultureRe: Please i need a sponsor or an Investor In Water Leaf Farming by my2chains(op): 5:49pm On Jan 12, 2020
Another idea here is to head up to rural areas in ogun state where you can rent an hectare of land for 20,000 naira per year,

with any source of water stream or boreholes nearby,

then we rent a room or apartment there which wont cost more than 20,000-30,000 per year rent

then clear the land and make beds and start planting,

with God in ourside we are sure of sales and harvest in just 3 weeks time
AgricultureRe: Please i need a sponsor or an Investor In Water Leaf Farming by my2chains(op): 5:39pm On Jan 12, 2020
Water leaf is one of the easiest plants to grow and harvest,

without any issues of diseases or much fertilizers,

as far you can be watering them daily then you are sure of a bumper harvest in just only 3 weeks,

most farmers here are really scared of waisting their time and efforts on some plants like pepper, tomato, cucumber and some other plants that has higher risk involved and also takes more time before been harvested to be sold in the market,

water leaf farming can earn you a living just in 3 weeks,

there was one succesfull water leaf farmer that has just an acre and makes more than 50k every single week from it,

although he has some few farm workers

Hi,
Can you give me the break down and the revenue potential . The the estimated profit monthly
lets say you can be making not less than 30,000 naira on a monthly basis if all things goes well or lets say every 2-3 weeks,

you can some day arrange a day we get to meet and speak one on one on this,

then i will tour you round where water leaf farmers are planting and harvesting their produce

so we can speak to them and understand this concept more clearly,

am only approximating the cost of starting a water leaf farm and it can be a little lower if we have free lands and a sure water supply like borholes,

this water leaf farmers are really secretly making more money than even some business men,

some even have acres of land filled with water leaf, ugu leaf and bitterleaf and they make sales every single week

Wao see business idea
yes its a good business idea that needs to be actualized to its full potential,

AgriculturePlease i need a sponsor or an Investor In Water Leaf Farming by my2chains(op):
Please i need a sponsor or an investor to start a water leaf farm here in lagos,

the target market will be
iyano-iba,
okokomaiko,
iyano-isashi,
alaba market,
iyano-ipaja
agbara market

and some neighbouring markets close by

or better still mile 12 market or ketu,

mind you water leaf is ready for harvest only in 2 to 3 weeks,

and it will be harvested constantly every 2 weeks after the first harvest or sales.

the lowest a bag filled with water leaf is been sold is #2,500,
and a plot of land can give you upto 15-20 bags per harvest

some times a bag of water leaf sells for 4,500-5000 naira
depending on the season

so lets say we can be making upto 40,000-50,000 per harvest and thats every 3 weeks

this is how the budget to start will be like,

to rent a plot here in lagos will cost =10,000-20,000

to buy water leaf stems to fill the plot will be = 20,000-40,000

to clear the land and to make the beds for planting = 10,000-15,000

dry chicken manure
#800 naira per bag
7 bags = 5,600

water source,

we can dig a well or source for a water source near by,

so approximately total cost will be 70,000-80,000 naira

this farm investment is suitable for anyone who dont really have the chance to go to a farm,
or someone who still needs a part time side income to survive this harsh nigerian economy

anyone interested should contact me on 07041246325

thanks

Normally following a good decomposing process that I know of, it should take not more than 2 weeks for the wet compost to become completely dried up, but other major factors which I believe will also contribute to make that happen includes:

- little access to sunlight - not directly exposed to Sun though

-.the wet compost should be exposed very well to house-files and these will produce enough maggots which will aid the breaking down of the wet compost fast.
so you mean it needs to undergo some time and processing before it is finally been used in the farm,

its better i still buy it from those people selling it than all this stress,

anyways thanks for the reply

i have already woken up a long time ago and am working hard towards achieving this dream,

never under extimate your dreams and desires because they may one day come to a reality,

indeed i know God usually answers prayers but in a different way from the way we see it,

lets encourage one another on this so the next generation will be happy going into farming,

farming is not really meant for only the old fellas alone,

i know of some young niggars around me that has their own space as a farm and they are making a living out of it

please stop dulling niggas moral
all we need is to think on the positive sides of this so it can happen soon.

Now i know there is power in your spoken words and beliefs because,

there was a certain guy i know of where i work,

everyday this guy keeps shouting and keeps telling people he needs 200 billion naira,

although to him it was all jokes and catching fun with his fellow pairs,

just imagine how can someone who stays with someone in a half shop will ever achieve this?

sometimes he even goes around to beg some rich folks money for food and transport back home,

this is how he will keep shouting,
i need 90 billion!

but all to the laughter of everybody around,

look at this riffraf saying he needs 500 billion naira,

all this were jokes and laughter then but guess what,

this guy is now worth millions,
he started from nothing but has his own shop presently with someone serving him as a servant,

he wants to relocate to a bigger shop now since its no more accomodating his goods again,

now his dressing and character has changed so far,

although he hardly now shouts he needs 20 billion dollars,

since he started making the money,
he has now stoped making all those funny jokes and shouting he needs 80 billion dollars,

although sometimes unlike when we first knew him

i just want to let you know that our words and prayers are so powerful,

he never even knew his life will be changed for the better,

now he is enjoying the fruit of his daily prophesy and wishes to himself

indeed life is full of mysteries

this is a first time testimony i saw and withnessed with my own very eyes,

so i did not hear it from someone or it was been told to us as a moonlight story,

i withnessed this just last 2 years around where i work,

they will say to each other

guy my 2 chains are pure gold!

balling hard every weekends on farm produce,

to some of you it may sound stupid,

but to me this is my reality and my dream

if you dont believe this then you are on your own,

but remember that in this life you can create by yourself your own reality and live by it.

this message needs to be passed around to all potential farmers expectially we the youths,

so the moral and encouragements will be high enough,

stop making us to believe poverty and dirtyness is really attached to farming and farmers,

maybe it can be attached to those rural old farmers not us please.

since we have greenhouses,

niggars can now head to the farms with ferrari and bughati verons,

unlike those old fellas that will dress like saint anthony our patron saint to the farm.

We niggars needs to change all this shits

because we can really ball hard like a multi billionaire farmer not all this petty begging farmers.

since we now know that sweet cool money do grow on trees

any young niggar here interested in this should hit me up so we can join up on ideas and collabo together on this.

although crazy ideas and inspirations can one day become a reality in this life,

so let the new generation of young niggars arise and take over,

you know we dem boys and we need to change all this old and boring rules in farming

cheers and thanks

my 2 chains indeed will be pure gold someday! grin
AgricultureRe: Learn How To Make 30x Returns In Agriculture From This Entrepreneur by my2chains(m): 8:13pm On Jan 11, 2020
Do you know this is the worst thread that i have ever come across in my entire life,

the op started this sweet episode worthy of learning from,

but guess what?
He is nowhere to be found again to update it,

indeed this is bad,
since 2014 no update again till now

anyways i now know how to multiply farm produce by growing things vertically

all those oyinbo with their spacing requirements,

na only abokies una go dey tell that one not me again

AgricultureRe: Okro Is Now Hot Cake. by my2chains(m): 7:49pm On Jan 11, 2020
It is now i know okro has 2 types,

the one that grows for harvest in only 2 months,

and the other that matures in 3 months,

although the prize varies and the bigger once is more costly than the dwarf type,

i never knew all this abokies that sells seeds closer to where i stay have this dwarf okro seeds very cheaper

abeg i dont want to spoil someone business here o!

As for okro been hotcake,
hmm thats really true

but i thank God i now have a okro farm so i dont need to go and buy from the market again,

so i dont have to pass the stress again of buying just only 5 okro for #100 here in my area

those market women here can really be so selfish when measuring it for you to buy

all thanks to this thread i am now okro stress free,

although i never planted much for selling only just for eating,

maybe this year i will go full scale on this

added with pepper and tomatoes,
am still learning to plant this things though,

and now i harvest okro every single day here,

am even tired of eating so many okro soups this xmas period

i still got a bunch i harvested here this morning

maybe i will start selling them or dashing it out to all this yoruba people that has no food

when we planted okro last 2 years before,
that was how they will be lining up and be disturbing my peace with,

bros abeg i won buy #50 okro,
like as if here na mallam shop

how person no go ever rest for him own papa house again?

Thats why we did had a break,
but now we are back again
cheers and thanks

looks like am now copying pistotita in droping of longer epistles for your amazements and merryments grin
AgricultureRe: Time For Pepper Cultivation Ahead Scarcity Early 2020. by my2chains(m): 7:35pm On Jan 11, 2020
Hello alpha2k.

I really do like this your pepper project,

but the thing is we are yet to see any pictures attached here.

Because this your constant updates looks like audio project to some people here,

most nairalanders engaging in this kind of projects and needs investors do make sure that they take pictures of whats currently on ground for people to see,

so potential investors can really be interested and participate in this your farm journey,

even if you dont have a nice android phone to snap why not borrow from a friend,

at least we the audience go fit still manage nokia java 201 pictures of the farm been uploaded here

unlike all this audio project been updated here

thanks grin
AgriculturePlease How Can I Create A Dry Poultry/chicken Manure? by my2chains(op): 7:19pm On Jan 11, 2020
Hello house,

although there is where we normally get dry chicken manures for 50kg bag at 800 naira,

but i want to learn the process of decomposing and making my own dry chicken manure,

but the thing is i dont really know how many days, weeks or even months it will be dried enough to be used.

I need alternative so as to stop buying any more dry poultry manure since a chicken farm is not that far from my location,

but i want to know does it really take time to be dried or should i just better go and buy the already dried once been sold 800 naira per bag?

I need honest opinions from anyone that has gone through this before

thanks
