The spotlight is definitely on one of Nigeria’s intriguing rappers, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known as Vector, for obvious reasons.

The Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and philosopher has got social media talking with his response, ‘Judas the Rat’, to colleague M.I Abaga’s diss reply “The Viper”. For many rap fans in Nigeria, Vector is one rapper that has stayed consistent in the game over the years.

However, a lot of people may not know a thing or two about ‘Lanre’. Lets take a look below ;

Vector released three studio albums, including State of Surprise and The Second Coming in 2012. Before the release of the second studio album, he released a mixtape titled Bar Racks.

And in December 2016, Vector dropped “Lafiaji”, followed with a mixtape in October 2018, “The Rap Dialogue” to keep the spirit of Nigerian hip-hop alive.

Born on October 4th, 1984, the Ogun State indigene attended Command children school, Ijebu Ode Grammar School, Government College Victoria Island & Saint Gregory’s College.

Vector the Viper never shies away from putting African Hip hop on the world map. Interesting note is that he was the voice behind the Sprite commercial that has aired on most radio stations across Nigeria since 2009.

With several awards in the bag, Vector...

Technology Market / Technology; A Recycling Tool By Bello Sodeeq by myaceworld(m): 7:55am On Aug 15, 2019
Long ago, the world has embarked on the voyage of modifications & expiation due to the improvement in the facet of technology. The process has indeed contribute to the piecemeal development of this space and also help to atone the rudiment strategies of our patrilineal way of life. If not for the resoluteness of technology, things might have remain stagnant & never trudge the path of revolution. Hence, it is said to be an extreme gratification to mankind.

Imagine moments aback and insert yourself in those embroiled scene of hard & unyielding activities, where human work sedulously to achieve their goal in such a manner that ought to be define as inducement of torture. Then, land clearing , ridges & planting were done with the aid of crude implements. All farming operations were done with vigor not considering the area of land available for cultivation.

Comparing this process with the modern technological system, there is a broad difference in both ways. years ago, "Thomas mathus" an economist foresights life and the ways it was lived and hereby prophesized an upcoming situation of dismal. may be then, he weaved his theory with the antiquated warp of ancient farming system. He states that crops will be in addition sequence(arithmetically) and population will be in multiplying sequences(geometrically). In the long run, there will be an infliction of famine, starvation & drought which will later proceed to the world's perdition.

By the way, technology has outsmart the titular "Mathusian theory of population" and has helped the augmentation of cultivation outcome weighed to the days of low & inefficient produce. Acquiescing technology is a synopsis of favour isn't a faux pass because it has encourage the transformation of this niggard world. The invention of technology is a superb level of efficaciousness and helps a lot in preventing humanity from the inevitable conflagration of deficiencies implanted during the medieval period.

Recuperating the chronicle of change which indicates that yesterday's formulae for success might become today's recipe for failure. There are moment when assets(Land) was the most profitable business, later, it was industrialization and people begin 2 invest and now it has been information(software) , which has just occur as a result of technical stratagems. Trial blazers that has imprint their deftness in this world and still remain relevant till date are no other than those contributing effectively towards technology, even a modicum contributor has manage to cease the people's awareness.

Inventors like Carl Benz (motor), James Watt(steam engine), Alexander G.Bell(telephone), John L.Biard(television), George Stephenson(train), Galileo Galilee(telescope), Wilhelm Roentgen(X-ray machine), Elias Howes(sewing machine), Charles Barbage(computer), Joseph Niepce(photography), David Edward Hughes(microphone), Willis H. Carrier(air condition), The wright brothers(aeroplane), Igor Sikorsky(helicopter), Bill Gates(computer software) and many others has brought the world to limelight with their technological initiatives. Technology has been a betrothed blessing to humanity by stinting the ardent rage of strenuous activities and contribute to the manifestation of swish & fashionable template of modern lifestyle.

Even the development in technology has helped in reducing the rate of mortality through the Providence of classical & outstanding equipment that has involved in easing the medical services & operations. without technology, the world would have be a reverie that won't glide on the brook of any trifle success or accomplishment and people would be restricted to a single way of Manning variegated activities. Thus, there is nothing with positive effect can that won't be ascribe with an iota of foibles & weaknesses. Technology has been misused in some areas and this has rendered an helpful hand to malefactors and also endorse their savage escapades. Examples of such act were the cyber-criminal,robbers,terrorists and the likes. This is just pointing to the pertinent fact that technology has contribute to this realm both positively & negatively, but I think it has been more advantageous compared to its foibles.

Fashion / How Indescent Dressing Affects Our Relationships By Esther Emenike by myaceworld(m): 11:35pm On Aug 13, 2019
We often hear the popular saying; “you are being addressed the way you are dressed”, that`s exactly how you were able to magnet any form of relationship you`re into right now (consciously or unconsciously).

You can`t dress like a prostitute and expect to magnet a responsible Prince. We know dressing is your choice; after all, no one feeds or buy your wears for you, so you should be in better position of determining what and what you should wear, but then, it`s also good you`re aware of the fact that your dress sense is capable of magnetting the right or wrong persons into your life.

This is because; every human is first moved by what they see. You first see before you come closer to perceive, feel, touch or even associate with. Don`t mind that popular saying; “Men are moved by sight, women are moved by hearing”. Before you can allow a man speak to your hearing or confuse you, you must have felt comfortable being around his kind of person (and this include his physique i.e. physical appearance first). Therefore, before hearing comes sight, “be careful what you show the world because you may not know the stance of your prince or princess charming”.

Personally, I`ve had to ignore guys not because they weren’t making sense, but because, they weren`t responsibly dressed to my taste, yes! You may say that`s pride, my dear it`s no pride, it`s knowing what you want and setting standards for your life. This does not mean you must wear the best designer in the world or wear dresses from the most expensive boutique to look unique, at least look simple and responsible.

Just so you know, our dressing goes a long way to speak volumes of who we are and when your dressing sends the wrong signal, no matter how responsible you are within, no responsible person can get to connect with it until you are responsibly packaged. “Birds of the same feather flock together”.

How could I forget this illustration of a personal experience about six months ago? It was early this year around January when I had gone to a business partner`s shop at the wee hours of the morning, it happened that I had to wait than expected for him to settle down before we discuss the reason he requested my presence that early morning. At the course of my waiting, a female friend of his entered, prior to this period, I was chatting with him on some social and intellectual issues while he attends to his business before the young lady came in.

At first, she never wanted to talk with us, even when her friend had called her into the discussion, I felt probably because she was feeling to be a stranger to me yet, at some point, she had to join but when I make some remarks that`d require her reply, she would subtly ignore. This continued until the guy had to excuse us to attend to a client, then I cracked a joke that tickled her, she laughed and that was it! We started conversing. From social to moral trends, then to spiritual, intellectual and academic burning issues, I never knew I was wowing her with my intellectual prowess until shortly before she bade a bye, she confessed “o babe, you seem to gather uncommon wisdom and intellectual properties than your LOOK, seriously, anyone who hadn`t been under your talking influence may easily discard your extensive hands of friendship simply because of your looks, I must confess, enough of beating about the bush, you look just horrible! I advise you work on your looks so it`d blend with your intellect” she finished, even though I tried explaining to her that I don`t always look this way, circumstances just forced me to, “I had woken up very early in the morning, having not even had my teeth brushed, I received an urgent call from this friend of mine of which I had to rush down to his shop not caring to have my hair combed since it`s a stone throw from our house” I defended, but she insisted, advising me to just look good all times and nothing should be of excuse for not looking responsible at any point in time.

Fast-forward to the time, few weeks later, we met at a café. She was dazed at my looks, she had to brush off her face again to be sure it was actually the disheveled looking girl she`d met few weeks back. Of course she didn`t hide her feelings, she exclaimed, “I can`t believe you were the same person I saw the last time” she remarked “honestly you now look exactly like your brains” she teased, I could only smile. In the subsequent months, she has always met me charmingly dressed and of a truth cannot hide her surprises.

From her friendship, I have been able to be called upon to deliver on some public speaking seminars to one of the organizations she heads.

What point does the story up there tries to drive at? Most times you get into the wrong relationship due to the wrong signals your dressing sends, so now you know, even your dressing determines your type of relationship?
