thebosstrevor1:You should start by knowing what an IGR is, to help you out, it is a revenue from the state, in as much as it is paid in naira, it depends on the source of the fund, we have direct foreign investment and many others sources state government earn money and such naira earned increased with increased in the exchange rate. You all were gloating over his investment that appreciated in naira but depreciated in dollar due to increased in the exchange rate. wasn't dividend part of the IGR again? |
Buccalcavity2:the joke is on you, your own ignorance is a menace to the society, don't you know that states earn foreign exchange either by direct investment or import/export duties, so was dollar earning captured in the post? You were here disturbing our sanity with your campaign of calumny on how his investment nose dived in dollars without paying interest on the increase in share value in naira, right? Even primary one pupil would know that the higher the exchange rate, the more naira you will get from any dollar base income you get. even the more the naira in circulation, the more people spend and the more taxes you earn. |
Bodexman:In everything you do, people must talk, people only realize your value when you've left the office, like they say, you don't know the value of what you have until you lose it. Everybody can never like you. |
thebosstrevor1:let hate not take away your smartness. Is crude oil not sold in naira?, if you want to compare how good or bad your currency is doing, you have to use a common factor, which is mostly dollar. Don't sound like Tinubu. I know you would rather keep your money in dollar than Naira because of the purchasing power. By the way, when there is an increase in the minimum wage, there is also an increase in the paye but at the end of the day, what's the purchasing power? |
thebosstrevor1:Hello poster, in as much as I do know the authenticity of your data but if you check the figures you posted, you could see the variation of the figure in an upwards direction. To break it down for you , for example, if income is 6B in 2011, 7.6B in 2012, 8.7B in 2013 and 10.4B in 2014 , checking well will tell you that there is a rate at which it is increasing which is partly as a result of variation in the exchange rate. Convert it to dollar, you will see that Obiano did not generate much in 2017. Ordinarily, Peter obi debt should also be increasing but it was not which means that the state debt was decreasing. Get the dollar equivalent of those amount with respect to the exchange rate within the period under review then you will be ashamed of your criticisms. If you divide his IGR in 2014 by 165 exchange rate , you will get about 63million dollars And if you divide Obiano's IGR by 334usd to naira exchange rate in 2017, you will get about 52million dollars, you need to standardize your data. so, you can see that those of us that are supporting Peter Obi are as intelligent as Obi. We are not illitrates. We don't support nonsense. |
that was before the arrival of the fake bishops combo ![]() |
thebosstrevor1:Did Ngige contest again in 2010? |

Why wasn't his claim of investment increase debunk until PMB administration rendered naira useless? He actually said that he has only one house in Nigeria and no in the world, besides, the London house must have been far gotten before he became the executive governor of Anambra state |
thebosstrevor1:You are mistaken, Ngige contested again in 2010 |
thebosstrevor1:Who authored the attached and if your statistics was accurate and depicted what was on ground in Anambra, see for you the result of his reelection Peter Obi All Progressives Grand Alliance 97,843 34.39% Chris Ngige Action Congress of Nigeria 60,240 21.17% Charles Chukwuma Soludo People's Democratic Party 59,355 20.86% Andy Uba Labour Party 26,106 9.17% Nicholas Ukachukwu Hope Democratic Party 20,777 7.30% why wasn't Ngige reelected when he contested again in 2010 if indeed Peter Obi failed in his first tenure? |

That's their plan, raise the exchange rate, sell dollar higher in the black market to make more naira to pay salary at the detriment of our naira purchasing power. To him, you have to be an importer or exporter to fill the impact of the high exchange rate. A serious government would have given the enabling environment to our production industrials, reach out to other countries for the supply of the goods that we can produce in Nigeria, buy from the locals for export and most especial, promote peace that will provide the enabling environment other than nepotism and segregation that have constantly drawing us back. |
All APC is interested in is to win election and not governance. The same way they brought Buhari to win the election and after that nothing more. |
we should keep this man on standby to take over from Peter Obi. This man must be our president one day. His potentials were systemically limited just to make him appear incompetent before Nigerians, the glimpse of him remains the best period in this Buhari administration |
thebosstrevor1:In as much as your link contains Elrfai biased opinion during his reelection year of which Anambra people gave the verdict, still send me the statistics at the time he handed over to Obiano. |
thebosstrevor1:If you believed in your source, you can believe anything, gullible people like you are the reason Nigeria is on a reverse gear. Either ways, your principal contributed to the mess we are in today as a country,, hence you should cover your face in shame. |
thebosstrevor1:Like I said, it is a personal opinion and besides, I am not rating PO with what he met on ground but what he left behind and all these was in election year where all sorts of wrong figures are thrown around just to score cheap political points. And to think that he won the 2010 elections convincingly against Soludo of PDP that was in power tells alot about the position of NDI Anambra on Peter obi mandate. So , give up already, it's checkmate |
thebosstrevor1:The joke is on you, an intelligent person will support his position with evidence whereas illitrates think other are like them, anyways, if self sophisticated morons could make touts wear bishops cassock thinking that others are fools, I don't expect anything intelligent from urchins |
thebosstrevor1:Credible source and not personal prepared sheet. I can create similar thing like this and upload |
It's seems urchins have been paid, they will disappear soon after they have finished their monthly stipend. |
thebosstrevor1:That's your opinion, lemme know when you have one with a verifiable link from a reputable organisation. |
Aldol:the link to the source is not verifiable |
Commentor:It is better to take 6months to sort things out once and for all than having the same problem everyday for the rest of your life, Our civil service system needed cleansing, If we can take a year to sort out all our problem in Nigeria to enjoy forever after, I'm good. Besides, you have to dissect to fix and dissection is never pain free. seunmsg:It's not about the problem you met on ground but how well it was resolved and with his experience in the state level, and advancement in the payment system, it will be far easy to resolve now irrespective of the level. There are relatively adequate facts and figures to work with now, so what complication are you talking about here? I thought BAT and co. wanted to intervene? You can simply give what you don't have. |
I was forcing myself to believe until I saw where it was mentioned that Obi destroyed Apga structure in the state whereas APGA has remained the ruling party in the state up till date, so which structure was destroyed? You can never tell lies about Peter Obi without getting caught |
tamdun:verify where, unfounded news? That's the job of the bringer and not me. |
Peter obi team are good people else, Reno would have been busy defending one allegation upon another until election is over then he will know how bad it is to put allegation on someone's head. |
DeleTaller:Is it verifiable? Is it true and if yes, how was it resolved? |
Sammy07:Those from Anambra will pick Peter Obi |
What's it with this final kick of dying horses thread on Peter obi on nairaland, even without verifiable sources, they are been pushed to the front page? For example, the one that says 'Peter obi should be blamed for ASUU strike in 2010", Even if at all it's true, being an incident that happened in 2010 and supposedly been resolved since, why didn't the inventor of the news tell us how it was resolved? What about the ones that said that Ipob have placed a shoot at sight on PO, and some said that he is the leader of the IPOB? Are they this confused to that extent, why not take a collective stand on your lies, You are so unorganized to the extent that those that are saying that he is against the ipob are liking the posts of those that are saying that he is the leader of IPOB and vice versa? I wonder how you guys are getting paid for all these show of shame. That is how one political party hired some fake Bishops. |
