Politics / Re: FG May Pay Compensation To Boko-Haram Members, starts Drawing Criteria For Paymen by mycoldsweat: 9:42am On Nov 06, 2012
I can't even bring myself together to finish this report, it's very unfortunate what our country have turned to this, well I don't have problem with FG spending 48m in compensation of BH for the unjustified killing of their members but FG must be ready to provide the justification of the killing of my Uncle, his wife and four children by the BH in a Suicide Bomb Blast in one of the churches in Maiduguri.failure to do so will leave us(the family of Igbo people who lost persons in those Bomb blast) to form a front to demand for atonement for the blood of our loved once, if u know what I mean. A stitch in time...........
Romance / Re: What's With Men And Their 'Cheating Nature'? by mycoldsweat: 12:42pm On Nov 02, 2012
without sounding as if I'm supporting cheating, but let me point out here that its ladies that encourages men to cheat, you meet a lady on a very neutral ground, tell her you are married and hope things will remain the way they are, hoping she will remain a good friend or colleague but the next thing is she start working her way into your heart, as if these men are made of woods, then somewhere somehow things start happening and every body turns around to scream blue murder against men.

Abu Abdulazeez further stressed that, all their members who were arrested and are under the custody of security agencies must be released with immediate effect, and all their wives who were displaced following the crises as well as their children must be rehabilitated into the society
/
On our part we the people of Nigeria demand that they BH should released from the grave all the Nigerians & foreigners killed by them to their families alive. That's our own conditions 4 dialogue

234GT: Nigeria is good at helping other countries to solve problems while she keeps suffering from the same problems. There is no security in the country, yet our soldiers keep getting awards for keeping the peace in other countries. There was a time they said we were selling electricity to ghana. LWKMD.
Nigerian Army Soldiers offers the same services they gave over there that earns them awards over here too, only that you ppll have failed to acknowledged it and reward them accordingly,if only you know the number of Soldiers loosing their life in the fight against BH alone not talking of other flash points in the country you will get my point.that's supreme price

Nigerians sha! must we always lay blames. If they didnt respond now u will complain now they re responding u re complaining. You should now that when a stress call is made all patrol units re notified. The patrol team that were ambushed were probably d closest to the crime scene so they got there first before other teams
who said they were ambushed, I didn't see that on that report, the truth is that Police have not told us what happened, if that patrol team was the 1st to arrived the scene what did the others that arrived later did, there is some level of unprofessional act here. My condolence to the bereaved families.

Crime / Re: 13-Year-old Girl Murdered In Kogi, Kept In Fridge by mycoldsweat: 6:05pm On Oct 20, 2012
The poor girl must ve probably been murdered by her guidance by beating her recklessly earlier & dump her body in the freezer thereafter & now left for the wedding with every other member of the family to create an alibi. The Police should confirm if any other person saw this girl immediately before the family left for this so called wedding
Crime / Re: 13-Year-old Girl Murdered In Kogi, Kept In Fridge by mycoldsweat: 4:22pm On Oct 20, 2012
That poor girl was properly murdered by her guardian during a reckless beating and dumped inside the Fridge and thereafter the guardian left for that wedding to create an alibi a & the impression that she was murdered while they were away. The Police should confirm if anybody saw that girl alive when the other family members left home that day.

Instead of waiting 4 IGP who is the head of the family of the Police men who acted in part in the murder of your children, Please you people should sue the IGP, joining the DPO incharge of Aluu Community and Aluu Community itself in the suit. Let's test this case in the court

Health / Re: My Experience With A Quack Doctor by mycoldsweat: 1:17pm On Oct 10, 2012
superior1: Perhaps one of the ills plaguing this country include her teaming numbers of quack doctors. I lost a pregnant relative just last year because the doctor misdiagnosize and administered wrong treatment to her.

Last Friday my daughter started showing symptoms of malaria and we decided to take her to a popular specialist hospital located in Ikeja. The doctor on duty without thinking twice heard my wife's complain and gave our girl malaria treatment. On sunday, we noticed fatigue, lost of appetite, extremely high temperature, difficult breathing and running nose. Over sunday/monday night she couldn't sleep and kept vomiting all her mother was able to give her (including breast milk).

Today (Monday), we took her to the same hospital and was attended to by the same doctor who recommended a dosage of quinine and paracetamol but has my wife was leaving the hospital, she felt led to speak with the pediatrician who was just strolling into the hospital to resume duties. She re-examined our 10month kid and concluded she is with pneumonia and the thing was in advance stage. The girl was immediately placed under admission for critical treatment. If not for God, that quack doctor would have given my family another story to tell.

What is it about quack doctors in Nigeria (I have had friends report their adventure with many, one was even consulting textbook right in front of an acquittance ) is it that our medical schools are producing bad ones or medical students are no longer paying close attention to their lessons?
The worst is even when u tend to doubt them and ask for more clarifications on your case they will get very impatient with you.

OAM4J: Why I Left Channels Television – Deji Bademosi Opens Up

It was surprising to hear that the Award winning TV reporter, and the cruiser of Politics Today, Deji Bademosi, has left John Momoh’s Channels Televison.
It was noticed he was not of late at the top of his game, but no one knew what was really brewing underground.

Deji was a little reluctant and relaxed like someone no longer ‘involved’. Now it’s clear that all was not well at all, at least following his resignation. Giving an hint into the power-play that goes on in Channels TV, which is nothing different from many other media houses, Deji said, “Though I cannot describe it as official high-handedness but I think people deserve respects…. On several occasions they tried to personalize issues.”Deji, who resigned his appointment Friday, described the several awards that his reportage won as enviable and proud moments in the organization. “I will say it was a wonderful moment and that was when things really went well and I was appreciated and got the support of the top management staff.

“The bad side? Yes, I will describe as when we lost some staff and things went bad for the company and one could not get the support of the management. It was the time things were not really going well between one and the management.

“Of course I had fun when the going was good but when the problem started one could not but find it difficult to explain why certain action were taken,” he revealed.
