well, if AVB wants to continue with the players we already have, so be it. i just hope he don't end up getting the boot after the first season due to the fact that he couldn't 'strengthen' the squad. i like the idea that Drogba signed an extension though, his experience will surely be needed. i also do hope Torres finds his form this time around. i got this feeling that he's the reason why we never really put interest in signing any more strikers/forwards. I saw highlights of the game with the Malaysian XI. Torres missed a lot of opportunities there, but there is hope. and hope is not a bad thing.

@switch
let the season begin before you continue with your display of idiocy, will ya?

  WE WILL WIN IT THIS TIME

Those are the words of Miguel DeVillas, the new manager of the defunct Abuloma Boyz now famously known around the world as DRASTIK MEASURES FC. Team spokes person, Ayibatari Tamunosekibo, told FPL Magazine ''people wonder why we changed the name of this great club from Abuloma Boyz to such a strange name as Drastik Measures. if we could all remember very well, at that stage last season, we were at our worst phase as a club since joining the FPL. So drastic measures had to be taken to lift ourselves from that awful position. And that we did. Our manager then, Awilo Sharp-Sharp proved to us why he is normally referred to as the 'Fix-up Your F*ck up' man, as he guided us to a comfortable finish last season. The reason why we cant continue with Mr Sharp-Sharp is because he is not a stable minded person. Now we brought in Miguel DeVillas, a young and promising Portuguese coach who likes good football, and also has an eye for trophies . . .we know we will surely win it this time around.''
  Even as the new FPL season draws closer and closer, we can do nothing but wait and see if those last words will mean anything in this gruesome league.
