Politics / Re: El-rufai Should Never Be Apointed NSA by MyMouth(m): 2:20pm On Apr 01, 2023
[quote author=GreyLaw post=122217981]In as much as Tinubu's victory at the polls is still being contested, he is still the president-elect and must be accorded that respect.

It is on the news that many soon to be ex-governors are already jostling for positions in Jagaban's cabinet. Of note is Ganduje wanting to be minister of FCT and El-Rufai wanting to be National Security Adviser (NSA). I don't have anything against their ambitions. It is well-deserved, as they stood firm to ensure Asiwaju's victory. My only grouse in that list is El-Rufai waiting to be NSA.

El-Rufai in his 8 years did well in infrastructure and is said to be a good manager of resources. However, he was nothing to write home about in security. In his time, the killings in Southern Kaduna worsened and he has didn't do much in the way of preventing reoccurrence of such killings and destruction in sections of Kaduna state where he has been governor. He was even know to pay money to the terrorists.

Secondly, he is the first governor to run with a same faith ticket in a state populated almost equally by the two major religions in Nigeria, thereby stoking the embers of religious intolerance. We might understand why Asiwaju went for the same Ticket, but what was El-Rufai's reason? And he also went ahead to ensure the stooges taking over from him also run same faith ticket. This shows a man who doesn't care about security and stealthily but surely enjoys the ethno-religious tensions stoked by such malicious intents.

Asiwaju Tinubu must not appoint El-Rufai as NSA. That position is too sensitive for an intolerant and power drunk person like the Kaduna state governor. He can manage money and resources and is great with infrastructure so should be appointed in a capacity where his strengths, not his ills, can be reflected.[/quote/)

As governor, is he in charge of any security apperatus

Please read again I never said he will win in 2027. I said he will align with PDP because he knows he can’t win without them. I also said he has missed his chance. His chance was to be VP to Atiku or Kwakwanso and then become president. He was impatient and didn’t want to pay his dues building trust. Tinubu waited, built bridges, helped Buhari win trusting efforts and patience will be rewarded sand his time would come…today he is president-elect.
I agree with you

Obi will go back to PDP, Bookmark this post. He has never been loyal to any party in his life and a fractured PDP, Kwakwanso , Obi can never win a presidential election unless they come together. Obi cannot get northern votes unless he engages strong northern politicians not lightweights like Datti. Those strong northern politicians are in PDP, NNPP and APC. Since APc is out of the question he has no choice but to go back to PDP. Kwakwanso can only get him Kano and he knows he has only 1 more chance to be president because in 2031 it goes back to the North.

Then. We shall know the true character of Obi.
The Northerns would never vote a fresh southerner in 2027 who would now come and spend 8 years. They would rather vote Tinubu again who would spend jus 4 more years and hand over to the north

Sanwolu is busy hiring shameless men and women in tbename of observer to give credence to the sham and war that happened in lagos in the name of election.

Sanwolu what you us like trying to cover a stinking smelling poo with insecticide .

Sanwolu, you are not a people elected governor. You are a miscreant, thugs, vagabonds, agberos, criminal police and criminal INEC officials selected governor.

If sanwolu is serious to redeem himself and give some level of serenity , he must publicly denounce and renounce the process that birthed his so called re-selection.

As for the little minds hailing the sham and war that happened in lagos, every seed you plant has a time to germinate.
When the evil seed planted in lagos in this election germinates, e go thick ooo.

Let come to think of it. After much suffering they still want to pump out old note again.
With deadlines..

Why are they not giving out new note instead of pumping out old note...

Because if they pump out only old note alone, when the deadline comes, we will still be face with the same challenge
Didn't u hear that the new CBN governor under the new government will review the whole policy?
