davidylan:Sharrap David, any of them senior you for dia I know all the players, they're all under 20s just like every other player representing the other countriesFULL FINAL STOP |
davd:I disagree with you seriously and I think you're the noise maker here.Stanley who Iya Basira that runs her buka off Maiyegun in Obalende will fare better than Stanley Okoro today as far as football is concerned.Stanley is a piece of trash that reduces our players 10 men whenever he's on the field cos he's so useless now on that right flank, play him on the left,he'd be running like those tomato girls in Hausa quarters in Warri,as if he just delivered a baby, once he loses the ball,he won't try to recover it from his opponents,he cannot trot back to help in defence to save his own soul.I was so pissed anytime Coach Obuh brought him in as a sub last year in SA. Even if Nwofor appeared sluggish in the game early this morning,he wasnt the only one,Ahmed Musa for over 40 minutes in the game could not make a successful pass, couldn't dribble past two players successively,in fact that his goal just wiped off his sins (he knew this hence he ran straight to the coach once he scored as if to say "thanks coachito for not subbing me),again there's a reason Nwofor was the highest goal scorer in that SA tournament.Going back to the game against Croatia,Okoro would never have been able to score any of the goals scored by Nwofor, for our fourth goal which Nwofor scored with his right foot,an Okoro would have attempted to bring it back to his left foot before attempting to shoot,by which time he would have lost the ball. For Nwofor's second and our fifth goal in that game, who born short man Stanley Okoro to make that kind of a jump that Nwofor made to score with that powerful header. Finally, the entire team was not fantastic yesterday but they were effective, getting the job done,an in being effective,Nwofor was okay,I liked how he held that wing beofre Kayode was brougt in,mark you that is not his natural position,I also liked how he helped out in defence and finally, helllooo Nwofor actually made the second goal so what are you talking about. Please do me a favour and dont desecrate this thread by mentioning Stanley Okoro's name in good light here abeg |
Saudi Arabia aren't known for any sport because they are not good at any. . . That gives Nigeria an advantage. . .
Seriously ? ![]() |
Useless law,the so-called estates the state government built, how much did they sell the units For instance,in one of those I'm told a 3BR apartment was sold for 15 million naira,for4 a government that sells the few units of houses it built to the masses at exhorbitant prices to be turning round to tell private developers not to collect rent at intervals that will guarantee adequate and timely return on investment is nothing both crass hypocrisy and double standard all aimed at playing to the gallery Dubious and useless politicians |
I don't know who will win,but I do know the flying eagles will remain in Armenia to meet England in the quarter finals,at least I strogly hope so ![]() |

Croatia coach Ivan Grnja said this after the match: "It was a good game and we tried our best to make a good comeback. We were the best against Saudi Arabia but we couldn't win the match. Today we found an opponent with good quality and we couldn't compete with their quality. The problem was the physical status of our players. Most of the players couldn't compete in the game and that's why we conceded quick goals towards the end of the match. Nigeria showed that they are strong and they have good players. We made several mistakes which affected us and allowed Nigeria to score five goals." No be lie |
Now back to the polls, who's the goat that voted for Croatia to win the game ,hope you either voted in error or you're Croat, sucker |
Well done boys,as it stands now,we top the group(6 points and +8 goals difference as the Saudis, but we've scored more goals; 10 against their 8 ) I say we get a draw as a worst case scenario against Saudi Arabia and remain in Armenia |

"Nigerian Under20 men’s national team head coach, John Obuh, has explained why he left out the duo of Mohammed Aliyu and Stanley Okoro from his final 21-man team to Colombia 2011. Obuh explained that Aliyu and Okoro did not impress him at the 2011 African Youth Championship (AYC) in South Africa" http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/07/why-i-dropped-aliyu-okoro-obuh/ Thank you very much coach for this very good move |
maclatunji:Don't mention I'm used to enlightening less intellectually-endowed earthlings |
@ House Heard Arsene Wenger is making an improved bid for Everton's Jagielka and also looking to buy Valencia's Juan Mata (to fill the void that may be left by Fabregas' eventual departure to the catalan-based FC Distractlona. Are they really like for like players?Doesn't Mata play from the left of midfield, while Cesc plays in the middle??/ In other news making the rounds, Diaby is going to be out for TEN WEEKS |
If he is guilty, then he should pay I sense he is actually guilty, why is Tinubu and his ACN goons fretting over this man's case Politicians, they invented sleaze |
