it is. applied for business visa. they had a lot of delay before the visa was released. by the time i got my passport, the event has ended. the next time i applied for the same event with my manager. both of us was denied visa. since then i have applied again. no need yet.

Hi,

The way I see it- if you miss your appointment, you lose only the appointment fee. Whereas if you go through the entire process and don't use the visa, you lose the TLS fee, visa fees, insurance etc. By your next application, you also have to give a credible reason why you did not use the visa.

Solution
Can you move your trip to sometime in 6 months time? You are allowed to apply 6 months ahead of your trip and I have successfully applied for a September trip in April. Visa was issued April but start date was in September.

if you are ready for a layover of almost a day going and nearly a day lay over coming back. take note you will be confined in a small space at their airport unless they have started using the new airport.

Good afternoon house. Please I need to confirm for my friend is in a very confused state. He is applied for french visa for his family (a wife and 3 children). Yesterday he got an email that they need to do documents verification for his all date of birth and marriage certificate and that each one cost is 250k. Please is this normal? HELLO HOUSE, GREETINGS. I applied for a Canada tourist visa and was denied because I didn't indicate visa denial from the USA. I paid for gcms note and the result came out. it was the same reason I was denied. I re-applied and wrote an honest explanation about it and went further to explain to them about other countries that denied me a visa and later granted me the same visa.
my second application was received on the 7th of October 2023. To date, I have not received any decision regarding my application. the first application took 3 months or less.

my visa application was refused. only one reason raised there is THAT I FAILED TO TELL THEM THAT USA REFUSED ME VISA. which is against their law IRPA 16. please find a way and correct it. i dont even know the date i was refused. but am re-applying and will now explain to them that it was done in error and out of mistake and wasnt intentional.

happy Sunday Guys, I made Application for my parents to travel to canada on vacation with the old portal on june 1st biometrics on june 6. Till date i have not heard anything from them, it few days to 2 months. Please does this actually stay this long before they respond??

UK and this their Open checks on CAC portals this time is one of their key point in denying people visa back to back.
i got visa last year went there and come back and re apply for my entire family, have two related company, one is active and one is not, got denied because of the one not active. even though i applied with the one that is active. yet because both companies bears same name only different is Nigeria and Nigeria limited.
be sure of your company validity at CAC portal before you apply for UK

Damn this was a painful refusal because it could have been avoided if you came to this thread earlier :’(

The preposterousness is amusing because that’s how I was also speaking English about my company’s CAC status being quoted as a reason for refusal until I checked the portal and it was truly inactive for that year. I’ll say it again, UKVI does not care if your company is top 3 in West Africa if it’s not active on CAC as at the date of verification. I work in a company that literally partners with the FCDO on various projects and they still quoted that inactivity as a factor for refusal.

If you ask me, the only things you need to fix are the CAC status and justify relationship between the invitee and yourself because budgeting ~£2500 to spend on a graduation ceremony for someone who’s not family is an interesting decision to UKVI (it appears they didn’t have issues with your finances but it’s best to double check ahead of your next application if your disposable income and trip budget make sense when compared because trust, that’s the next thing they’ll hang on to if you fix other reasons)

If you can include a cover letter that explicitly explains why you must absolutely attend this graduation (especially if it’s just a friend and not a family member) then that should help a bit. You also need to speak with your company secretary or legal team to fix the CAC status. I literally caused wahala for my own team , I had one other reason for refusal but held on to that CAC one like it was the only reason.

No , Not at all. They still use both. Just after sometime, its advisable to follow up and let them know you applied using that portal.

That's the wrong way to go about it.
By GCKey, you imply using the old website which is http://cic.gc.ca

The best way to sign the forms
1.) Install Adobe acrobat reader on your machine.
2.) Open the form and complete it (typing all the necessary information in the form). Download the IMM form instead. If you have the old internet explorer you use it to open it and download it to complete the form.
3.) Upon completing the form, crosscheck everything is correct then scroll to the bottom of the page.
4.) There is a "Validate" button at the bottom of the page. Click it, it should prompt with a message , "Validate completed successfully" then it should generate a barcode. Save the file as pdf and upload to that area where the IMM forms are.

That's how it's done.

P.S use Adobe Reader DC for it to work properly.

When you visit, visit no. 10 and apply for vacancies available. Rwanda sure you if you leave London.

I want to renew my visa to 2 years and as well apply for my family too. My passport Expired December. am getting a new passport already.
