A woman ran 18 miles in the London Marathon with a broken ankle but still managed to reach the finish line, MySportDab reports.

25-year-old Siobhan O'Keeffe broke her ankle after eight miles and completed the remaining 18 - taking more than four hours -with her fibula bone snapped in half.

Miss O'Keeffe, a recruitment consultant, incredibly managed to complete the London Marathon despite snapping her ankle less than a third of the way through the race.

She fought back the tears and battled on through excruciating pain to finish the race in just over six hours.

But that was after the plucky runner had to stop after eight miles to get her ankle bandaged up by first aiders.

Miss O'Keeffe, of Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, said: "It started hurting after about four miles but it just got worse and worse."

Lionel Messi scored his 600th goal to secure a 3-0 win for Barcelona against Liverpool, MySportDab reports.

Messi scored the all-important second goalof the night in the 75th minute, chesting the ball down on the rebound and dribbling it over the line after Suarez had hammered the crossbar with a shot with his knee.

The Argentine then added to Barca's already huge advantage to take into next Tuesday's second leg at Anfield by scoring his milestone goal in style, smashing into the top corner with a stunning free kick.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic got furious at opponent Nedum Onuoha during La Galaxy's Win against Real Salt Lake in the MLS on Sunday, MySportDab reports.

Ibrahimovic scored the match the winner in the 78th securing all three points in a matchwhich ended 2-1.

However, Ibrahimovic's goal celebration got everyone talking.

After scoring from close range, Ibrahimovic turned and walked towards Salt Lake defender Onuoha, before celebrating and shouting right in front of his face.

Tension grew between the pair after the LA Galaxy star appeared to catch Onuoha with his arm, which prompted a square-up before Ibrahimovic picked up a yellow card.

The former Manchester United player visited Onuoha in the dressing room following the clash but the former Manchester City man wasn't having any of it.

Arsenal have launched an investigation after a video emerged online of a fan racially abusing Napoli Star Kalidou Koulibaly, MySportDab reports.

The Gunners won their Europa League quarter-final first leg meeting 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium but another incident of racism will overshadow the result.

In a Snapchat video shot during the game, the culprit can be heard using the 'n-word' to refer to Koulibaly.

In a statement, Arsenal said: 'We utterly condemn use of this type of racist languageand have launched an investigation to identify the culprit.

"We operate a zero tolerance approach andanyone behaving like this is not welcome at Arsenal and will be banned from matches.

"We have an extremely diverse community of fans who are all part of the Arsenal family and such incidents are rare at the Emirates Stadium.

"We encourage supporters to report any incidents as they happen to stewards or via our matchday alert service."

Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquet believes Lionel Messi suffered a "broken nose" in their Champions League quarter-final clash against Manchester United, MySportDab reports.

Messi’s nose was left pouring with bloodafter a coming-together with Manchester United defender Chris Smalling shortly before the half-hour mark at Old Trafford.

The 31-year-old attacker was unusually subdued as Barcelona settled for a 1-0 win after Luis Suarez’s header deflected in off of Luke Shaw and was awarded via VAR after initially being ruled offside.

And speaking to reporters post-match, Busquets revealed his fear that Messi has broken his nose because of the contact.

"I think Messi has a broken nose," he said.

“It was a big hit on him. There was a lot of blood and I'm not sure if there's a fracture or not.

"There was a cut on his eyelid. He was uncomfortable and it bothered him while playing but Leo always plays on with this sort of injury in the best way possible."

Here is the horror moment a gymnast from Auburn University broke both of her legs after suffering a horrific fall during competition this weekend, MySportDab reports.

She was making her first pass during her floor routine at the Baton Rouge Regional on Friday when she fell on the blind landing.

The crowd gasped as Cerio, a senior on the team, attempted a handspring double front but fell to the mat and screamed out in pain.

Cerio reportedly dislocated both of her knees and broke both of her legs.

She was carted out of the arena on a stretcher with air casts on both of her legs as the crowd gave her a standing ovation.

Arsenal Captain Mesut Ozil threw his jacket at Coach Unai Emery eight minutes after being substituted during the 1-0 loss against Everton, MySportDab reports.

Ozil was given the captain's armband for Arsenal's trip to Goodison Park but was frustrated by the Toffees on a torrid afternoon for Unai Emery's men.

Mohamed Salah has become the fastest Liverpool player in history to reach 50 Premier League goals, MySportDab reports.

The Egyptian scored a crucial goal against Southampton in the second half yesterday in a solo run from his own half before coolly slotting past Angus Gunn.

The goal came in his 69th top-flight appearance for Merseyside club and meant he reached a half century three games quicker than previous record holder Fernando Torres.

Salah achieved the total 17 games faster than Anfield favourite Luis Suarez and 19 quicker than Robbie Fowler.

After the match, Salah told Sky Sports:

"I think that’s goal number 50 for Liverpool in the Premier League so that’s special - and after nine games [without one], but Henderson scored I think for the first time in maybe 30 games so we are both happy.

"Not at all [I didn’t think about passing], as a striker I need to score, I am thinking to score. Maybe if someone is in a betterposition I can think but I just took my decision to shoot and I scored so I’m very happy about it.’

The Italian Serie A Disciplinary tribunal have fined Juventus player Moise Kean €2,000 for diving against Cagliari despite racial abuse at him, MySportDab reports.

Kean was targeted by home supporters during his side's 2-0 victory at the Sardegna Arena on Tuesday and responded by standing in front of a section of fans with his arms outstretched after scoring the Turin club's second goal.

Serie A authorities ruled on Friday that a second investigation would be needed to identify the individuals responsible for the abuse.

The tribunal said on Friday that it had askedfory more information from the match delegates and public authorities 'to establish in which phases of the match (Blaise Matuidi and Kean) were the target of chanting which could be considered racial discrimination.

'It also needed to determine 'the real dimension and perception' of the alleged racist abuse, the tribunal said in a statement.

Kean was pulled away from the irate supporters by players from both sides after was during the 2-0 win.

However, teammate Leonardo Bonucci suggested Kean 'could have done it differently' and 'the blame is 50-50'.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr has returned to training for the first time since his bad injury three months ago, MySportDab reports.

Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa has expressed his delight after winning the 2018 Nigerian Player Of The Year Award, MySportDab reports.

Musa picked the award at the 2018 Aiteo/Nff Football Awards ceremony whichtook place at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos on Monday.

Brazil Legend Pele has been rushed to the hospital in Paris, France just after meeting PSG Star Kylian Mbappe.

MySportDab reports Pele is understood to have been taken to hospital in Paris overnight on Tuesday.

He was kept in by hospital staff in order to ensure a full recovery.

Pele is understood to have been suffering from a fever and French radio station RMC Sport report that the Brazilian had a ‘tetanus crisis’.

Pele has struggled with health issues in recent years, pictured using a cane to aid his walking due to problematic hips and knees as well as suffering from a seriousurinary tract infection.

And while his life is not thought to be in danger, there has been no confirmation yet as to when he may be discharged.

The 78-year-old was in Paris to meet France World Cup winner Mbappe.

Mbappe became the second teenager to score in a World Cup final last year - after Pele.
