A footage has emerged on social media appearing to show Tottenham fans being assaulted by police in Madrid just before the UEFA Champions League Final, MySportDab reports. Supporters have travelled in good numbers for the all-English final against Liverpool in Madrid but anticipation appears to have been overshadowed by ugly scenes on Friday night. In the clip, which was posted on Tottenham fan account COYS NEWS, police are seen entering the bar with batons before one supporter appears to be struck by an officer. The video appears to have caught the aftermath of events inside the restaurant as supporters are being ushered outside by police, who can be seen wearing helmets and carrying batons. One supporter was carrying an eight-year-old child on their shoulders while the melee occurred, according to Daily Telegraph correspondent Tom Morgan. The incident is believed to have happened at the Cafe and Tapas restaurant, near the Puerta del Sol. Watch the video; See;https://www.mysportdab.com/2019/06/champions-league-final-50-spurs-fans.html

A Liverpool fan decided to avoid the cost of travelling by flights to Madrid for the Champions League final and instead bought a £40 car, MySportDab reports. The Reds face Tottenham at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday night, bidding to win Europe's premier competition for a sixth time. And one supporter has taken an alternative route to get to the Spanish capital. Simon Wilson, a YouTuber known for sneaking into big events such as Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor, decided to buy a ridiculously cheap car rather than take one of the costly flights out to Madrid. 'I was lucky enough to get a ticket in the ballot through my season ticket, but because the ballot wasn't announced until recently, I didn't want to book transport,' he told the Liverpool Echo. 'When I looked online, the transport was so expensive (that) it was ridiculous, the flights were around £800.' 'I rang up my brother, Ben, and asked him how much was the cheapest car we could get.' The brothers are now making the 22-hour-long drive together with a friend, documenting the journey on Simon's YouTube channel. However, there are concerns over whether the car will make it, given it has already lost the pipe that cools the engine. Aston Villa have been promoted to the English Premier League after a 2-1 EFL Playoffs final win against Derby County, MySportDab reports. A year after suffering Championship play-off final heartbreak at the hands of Fulham, Villa made amends as El Ghazi and McGinn headed home either side of half-time to give them control of a pulsating encounter. Rams substitute Jack Marriott set up a tense finish by halving the deficit nine minutes from time but Villa dug in to hold on. Victory for Dean Smith's side in the most lucrative game in world football will pocket the West Midlands club a minimum £170million and returns them to the top flight for the first time since relegation in 2016. Derby, meanwhile, suffered further late-season despair, losing in the play-offs for the fourth time in six seasons. Lampard's disappointment contrasted with the jubilation experienced by his former Chelsea and England team-mate John Terry, who was in the opposing dugout in his role as Villa assistant boss. A referee in the Dutch league got too close to the action this weekend as he scored a goal in a match, MySportDab reports. The official was taking charge of Harkemase Boys' Derde Divisie clash against HSV Hoek when he found himself in space in the Harkemase box amid a goal-mouth scramble. Hoek had just had an effort heroically scooped off the line by keeper Jouke Bosje before Rik Impens' rebound cannoned of the post and towards safety. Referee Maurice Paarhuis had kept up with the play however, and could not help but turn the ball goalwards with his standing leg. And, although Harkemase had a number of players back, the official put just enough on it for the ball to trickle agonisingly over the line. Paarhuis then gave the goal, much to the dismay of the Dutch outfit, whose 3-0 lead had been cut to 3-2 in the closing stages of the match. Barcelona Star Lionel Messi has been described as the world's best after a video emerged of him dribbling some top footballers, MySportDab reports. A two-minute video emerged on social media which quickly gained plenty of attention. It shows Messi ruining a number of his opponents who dared to try and dispossess him. A number of players hit the floor in their efforts to steal the ball from him while others suffer the humiliation of a nutmeg - to the delight of Barcelona's fans. Tiger Woods, who stunned the sports world when he won his fifth Masters golf title, received the highest civilian honour, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, from United States President Donald Trump on Monday. Last month's Augusta triumph ended an 11-year Major title drought for the 43-year-old, who had endured personal and professional setbacks, including a highly-publicised divorce and multiple surgeries over the past decade. An emotional Woods thanked those in attendance at the Rose Garden ceremony at the White House for their support through the years when he was not winning. "You've seen the good and the bad, the highs and the lows, and I would not be in this position without all of your help," he said after Trump placed the medal around his neck. Woods recalled his breakthrough triumph at Augusta 22 years ago which the then 21-year-old celebrated with his father and mentor Earl, who died in 2006. "In '97, yes, I won the Masters and I ended up hugging my dad and my mum," he said. "My dad is no longer here but my mum is here, I love you mum," he added, his voice cracking with emotion as he went on to thank his two children and girlfriend Erica Herman. "The amazing Masters experience I just had a few weeks ago certainly is part of the highlight of what I've accomplished in my life on the golf course." Ceremony Video Below... A 2022 World Cup stadium in Qatar named "Vagina" has been unveiled after becoming the first to be completed ahead of the tournament, MySportDab reports. The Al Wakrah stadium will host matches up to the quarter-finals and contains innovative cooling technology to bring temperatures down for the 40,000 fans. It was designed by the late British-Iraqi architect, Dame Zaha Hadid, who died suddenly of a heart attack in 2016, aged 65. When her plans were first released in 2013 they were said to have been inspired by the flowing shape of a dhow boat, a traditional Arabian pearl diving and fishing vessel. The drawings were topped with a structure resembling the sails of a dhow. But the images went viral with commentators suggesting the stadium looked more like a woman's private parts. The 2022 World Cup has already been moved to the winter months to avoid the searing summer temperatures in the Gulf. Video Below...
