Hello Everyone,
I recently got admission at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland for January 2027. However I have a previous study refusal from September 2025. During the application, they did not ask about my immigration history, I'm sure it will come up before cas issuance and I don't intend hiding it due to deposit issues. Do you suggest I attach a cover letter explaining how my circumstances have changed while submitting the refusal letter to the school? |

Blossomfirst: So lemme give some quick info from my research online..
1. Linking evisa without a decision mail; people have done it but if your application is not yet decided or if it is refused, you can still link but you wont be able to get a sharecode: you'll see a message like "we cannot show you proof of your status"
2. Many people are still waiting for decision from UKVI, check reddit and the official UKVI X/Twitter account, you'll see many people with delayed student visas
3. I dont think paid calls/emails actually does much, I have read of people that got decision made emails, only to escalate and then get a "please ignore any previous correspondece message" email from Sheffield escalation team
4. You cannot truly know your status till you receive a success or refusal email
5. The only thing one can do is to wait... I've read of people contacting local MP and school. School can help escalate your case but most times they cannot do beyond that..
To be honest, this is tiring and frustrating. some of us have been waiting since July... My biometrics was on August 20th and still waiting Decision Made is one nonsense generic response. Got that 2x after paid enquiry. Mailed school to interfere, they did and turns out my application hasn't been decided🙄. Did a paid call to withdraw application they are still standing on decision made, which decision 🤔 |

Educative piece. Like you said, it's often dismissed as colds, malaria or something else. On the bright side, youngsters are becoming more informed about it. |

RexDerick1: I'm still wondering how those difficult questions correlate with the job description. I passed the primary and secondary test, started the training and it was something else... the interview questions should have been " Do you have the strength to trekking very well" and do you know the streets of Lagos. After first day of training, trainer called me in the evening not in the next day till he contacts me . |
